First time here, I came with my mom and my 3 kiddos and when I say that Mai is truly the most amazing person I have ever met in the hospitality industry, I truly mean it. She went above and beyond and made my kids feel so special. My daughters could not stop talking about her when we left. I came in on a Thursday around 11:45 AM, and it was a really easy experience from start to finish. Parking was wide open in the lot and there were only a handful of other people there, so there was no wait at all. You order directly at the counter with a cashier. The menu is pretty big with bowls, plates, and a variety of other options, plus they also serve alcohol. The staff were super friendly and helpful while we were ordering. I ordered: *Tri Tip Bowl: this was a large portion overall. You can choose between jasmine rice or brown rice, and for vegetables either mixed veggies or squash. I went with the mixed veggies. You get around 4 or 5 (guessing) ounces of protein, which honestly felt a little light compared to how much rice is in the bowl. I also added chimichurri sauce, and they offer extra if you ask. Overall it was fine, just a bit underwhelming in flavor. *Cabernet Sauvignon (Paso Robles): they have a few different wine options around the $9-$11 range. I went with the Paso Robles cab, and it was really good. Two employees checked on us during our meal to make sure everything was good, and they even brought us boxes without us asking, which was appreciated. The place itself was very clean, and we got our food in under five minutes, which was impressive. Service was excellent overall. She knew she gave me an inferior bread stick but did it anyways. I took the bread back and got my money back. The young man behind the counter told me after I called about the bread they threw that batch away because they were too small. I love this restaurant. The staff is always very kind, especially Trudi. My dad and I come in about once a month to get lunch and she always welcomes us with a smiling face! Ordering is very easy, they have many gluten free options which is great for me because I am gluten intolerant. They actually make their own GF buns which are so good! Let us taste the beers, patiently walked us through the happy hour menu, when the beer tasted a little stale, she set up a brand new keg and gave me a fresh glass, then heated up wet napkins to clean our hands. Store is clean and comfortable but a little empty during 5pm Wednesday. Beers were delicious and great deal at 50% off 3-5pm HH time. Chicken wings were crispy and we liked the Nashville hot sauce.
