I think this place has lost its luster I finally came to check out breakfast what I stepped up to the counter, and there were three people working not one of them acknowledged me, or even looked at my direction. I sat there patiently, and the female employee came to the register to take my order after a while. I ordered my burrito... we had a choice of bacon or chorizo at the included price. Carne assda was three dollars extra or if I wanted all three meats it was five dollars extra. I probably should've not done this, but I paid for all three. I walked around while I waited. After seeing everything in the entire place, I took a seat near the Pick-up counter. While I was waiting there, the guy who was cooking was complaining about so many things. The one thing that really was upsetting is he said something along the lines of "people have to wait for their food anyways." this guy is angry and bitter, and does not like his job. The wait was oddly long I was tempted to ask them to cancel my order but I waited. The Third employee handing me my food with a smile in a box no bag no napkins no nothing. I guess those were self served, but would've been nice if he had said something because I got home and didn't have napkins or anything. The icing on the cake is paid for three meat definitely there's no bacon in here and I think I found one piece of Carne Asada so I paid five dollars extra basically for a chorizo burrito . There's hardly anything inside of it. I taste more tortilla than the inside. This was the most disappointing burrito. I think I've ever had in my life. I should've gone to the taco shop and gotten a much better burrito. Shame on you, Ranch 45. I don't have the energy to call you or go back and why waste my time and money coming back to complain. I like the food most of the time. Sometimes the temperature is all wrong for my steak and I find that Abby's response is dismissive and unapologetic. Today, our order was so late. The rush happened after we placed our order, others who came after us got their food first and again Abby told me: we're busy. No apology for not getting our entire order (2 items) at the same time and for the extreme delay (more than 30 minutes). Thankfully, Nate was honest about our ticket getting lost and made things right. He was very apologetic and kind. I appreciated him so much. Update: Nate had said he would refund our meal. Man, came here on a Thursday at sunset instead of going to a steakhouse because we wanted a good quality steak without paying triple the price. We sat outside, and it was such a vibe. That way, we got to eat appetizer, steak, salad, and dessert, 2 glasses for less than what we would have paid at a steakhouse, with way less food. We started with their sweet and spicy wings, with their in house ranch! They slapped y'all, don't skip it. The ranch had dill in it, i need this bottled and in my fridge with everything. I love the steak duo, their chimichurri and steak sauce was delicious! Steak was made to perfection, so tender and juicy! Seasoned and charred out the outside, mmm! It was perfect with fries cooked in tallow. We got the ranch 45 salad too so, it was a complete meal with a broccolini on the side. I am so satisfied. We paired it with a duck horn cab and honestly, I am so glad we didn't choose the steakhouse down the street. Lastly, we got a peach cobbler for dessert. Please don't skip this. The bottom of the cobbler was so crispy and carmalized, the peach was so warm and soft, with the crumbles and ice cream on top. We split it with the 3 of us and it disappeared so fast! We are so happy and off to a concert now. Two buzzed hot girls and 1 DD man. We ate everything so fast and totally forgot to take photos. That's how bomb. Also, their service is top notch. The service provided was subpar. The waitress elevated the heat lamp to stand over our friends' food while crossing her arms on the counter and breathing over their tray for several minutes. The food should have been served promptly, but instead, waited for the burger for at least 20 minutes, which was then served bloody rare. Medium was the order. The reason for the delay remains unclear. Additionally, the onion rings were cold. Upon requesting that the meal be remade, was only provided with a smashed, dry burger on a very cold bun. The waitress was uninterested in communication, only asking if she could take the finished plates but then only taking one. The unwanted food tray was not taken either until another waitress did so closer to the end of our meal. We observed another customer also sending their burger back, and other customers were waiting excessively long. It is possible that there was an inexperienced cook. Yet the kabob I had was cooked perfectly, and the pastrami sandwich was excellent. However, we will not be returning to this establishment. The service is unacceptable, and the ambiance was unfriendly and lazy. The restaurant has potential to be great with a change of employees who care about customer satisfaction. read more

Sadly, this place use to be a 5 star go to us, especially during Covid. The signature tri tip sandwich now weighs in light on meat and heavy on price when you get a side of fries for $20. Today's order was lukewarm when there were no customers in front of us. we were hungry and tired so we ate it. When I returned the empty plate the cashier asked me how the food was and I replied. "not as good as it usually is". Their response was "well maybe it'll be better next time. " After a previous order of breakfast burritos that had way too many crunchy peppers, there will not be a next time. Bummed. read more

This pains me to write because this is a local spot, and I've always genuinely enjoyed their food. But their delivery accuracy and customer service -- or more specifically, their manager Abby -- have become impossible to deal with. Shout out to the gentlemen manager he is phenomenal and knows how to handle situations. I've ordered around 10 times, and 8 out of 10 orders have been wrong, including multiple times where I was given someone else's order entirely. The final straw was tonight. I received an ice-cold burger and fries after waiting nearly 2 hours. When I called the restaurant just to give them a heads-up (not even asking for a refund), a server told me the food had been sitting out for multiple hours before it was handed off to DoorDash. That's a serious food safety concern. When I relayed this to Abby, the manager, she became instantly rude and defensive. Instead of showing concern or wanting to correct the issue, she blamed DoorDash, offered zero help or understanding, and acted annoyed that I even called. Any professional establishment would want to know if customers are receiving cold, hours-old food. It's truly disappointing because the food itself is good, but I can't keep supporting a place that sends out mishandled orders and treats customers this way. Did not know that Ranch 45 Provision was the same people I met at the SD Food and Wine Festival in Del Mar about two years ago, they owner's husband did a fantastic rendition of steak and eggs (fish eggs "caviar" served on dry aged Wagyu. As mentioned about their wine list, not updated and staff will accommodate if a selection of wine is OOS. The fluorescent lighting is too harsh for all the natural light they have with the windows and not good for the wine in bottles. Some TLC is needed to make this neighborhood meat shop a little more cozy like Iowa Meat Market or Siesel's Market. I ordered the beef bone broth stew. Slow cooked beef that was savory with well cooked carrots and white potatoes in a rich savory tomato sauce. Ordered Far Niente Chardonnay btg and they were out, gave me a NV SB instead which didn't pair well with the rich dish.
