Amazing BBQ beef with a tangy Carolina style sauce with a slight kick. I'm definitely going to try the sit-down restaurant! #yelpinbloom2026

Signage for Ranch 45 is well visible. Plenty of available street and private parking spaces. WiFi is also available if you wanted to do dine here while working. Staff is friendly upon arrival and interior spaces are clean. Plenty of indoor and outdoor patio spaces. Dogs are welcome outside. I truly enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. It is breezy during winter months but can be very nice to sit during the summer months. Food is fresh and tasty. Avocado Toast on thin toasted Sourdough bread with mini heirloom tomatoes were delicious. Egg burrito with Chorizo was hearty and flavorful. Matcha latte and ice tea is good. Free refills on the fresh brewed ice tea is available.

We found Ranch 45 Local Provisions on Yelp. What a great place! Parking was easy and plentiful. Lots of seating indoor and outside. Very spacious open area with fresh flowers inside mason jars on the tables. Very clean and comfortable. The service was excellent. Armani warmly greeted us and gave us recommendations on the menu. All of the food was delicious and flavorful. I had the matcha latte with avocado toast and the Dutch steak. We will definitely return when we visit SD again.

Yes! This was actually my first time here. Service was friendly and quick. Late morning so it was slow and super chill. Came for the steak and eggs. Could have brought home a whole lot more. Their selection of meats and aged steaks is really good. I'll definitely pick up some protein on my next visit. What a great shop/eatery

Man, came here on a Thursday at sunset instead of going to a steakhouse because we wanted a good quality steak without paying triple the price. We sat outside, and it was such a vibe. That way, we got to eat appetizer, steak, salad, and dessert, 2 glasses for less than what we would have paid at a steakhouse, with way less food. We started with their sweet and spicy wings, with their in house ranch! They slapped y'all, don't skip it. The ranch had dill in it, i need this bottled and in my fridge with everything. I love the steak duo, their chimichurri and steak sauce was delicious! Steak was made to perfection, so tender and juicy! Seasoned and charred out the outside, mmm! It was perfect with fries cooked in tallow. We got the ranch 45 salad too so, it was a complete meal with a broccolini on the side. I am so satisfied. We paired it with a duck horn cab and honestly, I am so glad we didn't choose the steakhouse down the street. Lastly, we got a peach cobbler for dessert. Please don't skip this. The bottom of the cobbler was so crispy and carmalized, the peach was so warm and soft, with the crumbles and ice cream on top. We split it with the 3 of us and it disappeared so fast! We are so happy and off to a concert now. Two buzzed hot girls and 1 DD man. We ate everything so fast and totally forgot to take photos. That's how bomb. Also, their service is top notch. The staff and specifically our server Matt, was so attentive, kind and knowledgeable. I will say less and just let you come experience it for yourselves.

Based on our last visit at lunch, decided to come in to try the breakfast offering. Ranch 45 delivers again. Had the Dutch steak and eggs and house coffee. Steak was a bit too done for medium but it was a thin cut so totally understandable. It was still tender so definitely good quality meat. House was excellent as well. It was a beautiful morning to sit out at the outdoor table and pre-game for San Diego county Fair outing.

Second burger they served medium. Very thin and dry.

Don't bother! Ordered the pastrami sandwich and the burger along with 2 blackberry jam sodas. Watched them place our pastrami with onion rings on the service counter with no heat lamp. Waitress stood over it several times over the 20 minutes we waited for the burger we ordered to be cooked medium. The 5 onion rings we spent $5 on were quite cold when we finally got served so immediately asked for fresh. Cut into a bloody half raw burger next. Requested it be recooked and waited over 15 minutes for both burger and onion rings. Pastrami sandwich was nice. Once we got second burger it was cooked dry and very thin. Then the drinks....expected a real soda when ordering a blackberry jam soda for $5.00. Nope a can in a cooler you go get yourself. Spent over $70 with tip for this. Not again. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

The menu is a little bit different than I remember, but still focuses on fresh and healthy. The girl working at the front used to also work at the PB Location and she's very friendly and knowledgeable. She also gave us samples of the berry smoothie and the green juice to try. I went with the golden milk latte to drink, and it was fabulous. I did have them add a shot of espresso to it because when I was ordering a latte, I definitely was looking for caffeine. It's lovely with turmeric, cinnamon, oat milk, MCT oil and black pepper. I also ordered the Hot Chick salad. It came out looking gorgeous. The salad tasted really good, the chicken was seasoned nicely, and I liked the different textures with the rice, the quinoa and the roasted corn. The dressing was super tasty too. When I got towards the end of my salad, my last few pieces of avocado were bad. It wasn't a dealbreaker for my experience, but I would've definitely preferred that they would've left those pieces out. Also, the little toasted cracker things tasted like cardboard, dry and flavorless. I probably should've tried scooping up some of the salad with them, but I left them on the plate. Overall, I would definitely return to this location. You cannot beat them if you are looking for something fast, casual, and healthy. Definitely not on the cheap though, my salad and latte were $34 before tip, but I don't mind paying for good quality food that is fresh and healthy.

There's free parking in the back and street parking in the front. This place is known for their breakfast but their other items are just as good. We recently found out the Chicken Fettuccine Al Pesto is the owners Italian mother's recipe. My youngest son enjoys getting this dish. My favorite breakfast dishes are the chicken and waffle, country fried steak and french toasts. They perfectly bread the chicken and the homemade country gravy it adds that extra goodness to the meal. I also love their fresh-pressed juices, and I usually request a plantation iced tea -- iced tea mixed with pineapple juice. So refreshing! The decor is adorable too. It has a cozy farmhouse café vibe that makes the whole place feel warm and inviting. And the bread pudding from Sunny Side is definitely worth mentioning. I usually don't like bread pudding, but this is far from ordinary. It's made with croissants and chocolate, drizzled with chocolate sauce, dusted with powdered sugar, served with raspberries, and strawberries. You have to add the ice cream...cause why not? Absolutely indulgent and perfect for sharing. Totally worth those extra calories! Overall, we'll definitely keep dining here. Great service, delicious food, and so many good family memories every time we visit!

My family was vacationing in Encinitas and stumbled upon Claire's on Cedros on our first morning while searching for an early breakfast spot. Pancakes are usually not something I get excited about - I tend to think most restaurants use the same premade mixes from the same suppliers, resulting in pancakes that are ultimately forgettable. That changed the moment I tried a bite of the pancakes my daughter ordered. I was genuinely surprised to discover what may be some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Since then, Claire's has become a breakfast tradition whenever we're in the area. Buttermilk Pancakes (OG) - 5/5. These pancakes completely changed my expectations of what a pancake can be. What makes Claire's buttermilk pancakes stand out is their depth of flavor. They have a rich, buttery character and a subtle fermented tang that give them a distinctive personality. Add a little extra butter and real maple syrup, and the flavor reaches another level. The texture is equally impressive. Unlike many restaurant pancakes that are either soggy or overly dense, these strike a near-perfect balance. They hold their shape well while remaining tender and fluffy, with just the right amount of air pockets. They're substantial without being heavy and soft without falling apart. The finishing touch is a thin ring of golden-brown crispy edges that adds both texture and extra flavor to every bite. Seasonal Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - 4.5/5. Our server recommended the seasonal lemon ricotta pancakes, and I'm glad I gave them a try. They are every bit as well-executed as the original buttermilk pancakes, with a bright citrus flavor and a richer, creamier profile from the ricotta. While I still prefer the original buttermilk version for its subtle fermented tang, these are excellent in their own right and well worth ordering if they're available. Eggs Benedict with Crispy Parmesan Risotto & Honey-Cured Bacon - 4.5/5. Once I find a favorite dish, I have a habit of ordering it repeatedly - which was becoming a problem thanks to those buttermilk pancakes. On a return visit, I made a point of trying something different and was glad I did. The standout pairing here is the crispy hash browns. This is one of those dishes where the individual components really shine when eaten together. Combining the arugula, poached egg, hollandaise sauce, and crispy hash browns creates a wonderfully balanced bite. The hash browns contribute crunch, the egg and hollandaise provide rich creaminess, and the arugula adds freshness and brightness that keeps everything from feeling too heavy. It's a thoughtfully composed dish that delivers both flavor and texture. Drinks - okay. The juices, teas, and coffee were perfectly fine - nothing remarkable, but nothing to complain about either. They do their job and complement the food well. Here are my final Thoughts. I'm so glad we discovered Claire's on Cedros. It has given me a new benchmark for what great pancakes should taste like. Even as someone who never considered pancakes a favorite breakfast item, I find myself thinking about them long after the meal is over. If we're back in Encinitas or Solana Beach, Claire's will be one of our first stops. The pancakes alone are worth the visit.

(editing to add this is a French-owned and Black-owned business, in case folks are looking!)…read more I usually come here when I'm doing errands on Cedros - and I usually just want to get my français on and order a café crème and a croissant. But today I needed a little extra je ne sais quoi because my morning was annoying, so I decided to splurge on lunch and not just a pastry here. I asked Steve, the (très beau et gentille!) co-owner what the quiche of the day was. There were two: one with jambon (ham) and one with épinards et fromage de chèvre (spinach and goat cheese). When I hesitated, he told me that the spinach one was amazing. Even though it's $20 for a quiche plate, I decided to go for it. I thought I was going to get a sad little quiche slice for that amount and might regret it. But OMG, it was more than worth it! Already they have a lovely patio on this pretty street in this fancy design district. But it was also a HUGE and exceptionally savory rectangular slice, alongside a DELECTEABLE petite salade. I asked Steve what mustard they use in the vinaigrette, and he said plain old Dijon - but the proportions and the seasoning were EXCELLENT. So it was salad perfection, not heavily dressed at all, just delightful. The patio was full on a Friday with ladies who lunch - but did that include me, as a solo diner, since I am a lady who had lunch? I'm not sure, but you can feel comfortable here no matter what. And now I know Madeleine Cafe is much too good to just come for coffee and for ordering in French from Steve or his co-owner Emmanuel. I don't want to spend that much for lunch every day - but I'll be back!
