The menu has been updated for the season ! We loved it. New things we tried this time were the deviled eggs with caviar. Also the frog legs, they were great ! I also ordered the Brie mushroom pizza. I love topping it with balsamic glaze. My husband loves ordering the all meatz pizza. It is unique in that it is unexpectedly sweet, with a little heat. Another favorite is the lamb chops !

Located in what would be appear to be the middle of nowhere, Farmer's Commons is an adorable spot to check out and grab a bite. We made reservations on a Sunday and highly recommend not coming in without one ! SERVICE : (3/5) A bit wonky. As others stated, it's a bit of a free for all with serving and hosting. When we first walked in, no one was up front , then someone helped us and he stepped away. Then 2-3 other employees came up to us a bit confused. Our server forgot to bring us small things - like our drinks, etc on multiple occasions. I guess there was an issue with other customers and it was gossiped about by the entire staff during our time there. FOOD (5/5) : what they lacked in service is absolutely made up by their food. We started off with the biscuits which were absolutely delicious . The orange butter was amazing. For entrees, we got the Uncommon Burger and Alaska Croissant. Both were perfection . All in all, if you have the patience to tolerate an interesting service experience so you can have a delicious meal, worth stopping by !

If Farmers Commons had a fan club, my wife and I would be the president and vice president (we'll let them fight over who's who). This place isn't just a restaurant -- it's part of our love story. We had our very first date here, and since then, we've celebrated just about every relationship milestone within these walls: anniversaries, promotions, and even the "we-finally-agree-on-a-Netflix-show" moments. The food? Let's just say if taste buds could hug, they'd be bear-hugging the chef. Every dish we've had has been a home run -- fresh, flavorful, and plated like it belongs in a fancy magazine spread. It's like a farm married a five-star kitchen, and this is their beautiful, delicious baby. The vibe is cozy, intimate, and just the right amount of "we could totally live here." It's a hidden gem that more people should know about -- though part of me wants to keep it a secret so we don't have to fight for a table! Long story short: if you're looking for amazing food, great service, and a place that might just be the backdrop to your own love story, Farmers Commons is the spot.

I have been back time and time again and this place never disappoints! My most recent stop in was on a Friday night. They had live music, a lit-up back porch, and of course, great food!

we had dinner at 5PM on a Saturday. 2 people. Service okay - a little weird not to see the same waiter each time but rather a team; good people but did not know too much about the ingredients in the menu . (maybe in training ) fried green tomatoes app - disappointed by the size of the tomato's slices ( Roma's diameter ) but good crunchiness . Tomato bisque good, warm and smooth and the best part was the savory millefeuille! burger no bun and fries - good meat lamb rack really tender and good , a little rare in areas but the salad and potatoes that come with it (52$ dish) were really good . coconut cake for dessert. we will come back and most likely try other dishes to review more . oh, the bloody Mary ( yes, served at 5PM , thank you!) was well made. 1 request . the IPA in the can poured into a glass by the server was cold ish but not cold enough for an IPA. Would you guys invest in a tap beer any time soon ? Other people were talking about that ... it's a winery but a nice cold tap IPA ( local) would be great for those who do not drink wine thank you Lis

Delicious food! Beautiful decor and even more stunning are the views, perfect place to celebrate with your girlfriends! And the service was fantastic! I've dined here multiple times and I'm so pleased to say the service has always been spectacular each time! Glad I got to celebrate my friends gender reveal!

Great food with an amazing atmosphere, very family friendly. Having been often before and each time the staff has been friendly and very helpful with selecting items to try. Especially wanted to thank Eleanor for her service, really appreciate coming to places where staff enjoys thier work. So far the Honey biscuits and Shakshura meatballs as well as honey whipped Ricotta have been Worth the price each bite

I came here for breakfast but it's a weekday and I was well after hours. Ky my waiter put in a small request for a simple breakfast for me even though I was way after hours. She checked on me regularly and really made this disappointment disappear from my thoughts. I will be back.

Really pretty view and great service! The candied bacon was amazing and so was everything else we got. Will be back soon.

Service is outstanding, we were greeted and got our drink orders in about 60 seconds after we sat down. Server was friendly, and we had a good visit talking to her when she would stop by to check on us. Our daily special was the chicken and dumplings, and we got fried okra, mashed potatoes, pintos, collards, and gravy between us for sides. Everything was fresh and homemade, and very, very tasty. Good solid country fare. If you're originally from rural vs urban, you'll feel right at home. If you want old time country diner experience, you'll be pleased. Just to clarify, this is a "seat yourself" place, with a LARGE SIGN stating that as you walk in. There is no door greeter/hostess station, and the counter is as far away from the front door as you can get and still be in the same room. (They also have a sign at the entrance about the card fee, like most places do these days). Well worth a return visit!

Some of the menu can be a little confusing. There are some items that come with two sides that do not mention that. And with the burgers you have to pay for sides separately. We opted for a chips and salsa, meatloaf (with greens and mashed potatoes as sides), a burger (fries cost extra), and chicken strips with broccoli and another side that I forgot. Chips and salsa were bad, but salsa needed a little salt. Greens were not fresh, potatoes were bland--gravy not good. Meatloaf wasnt bad. Burger was just okay. Chicken strips were just okay as well. Looks like they have a beer garden outside and being that it is a German/Texan fusion type spot maybe they do some time of events/entertainment...not sure. Would be interesting though. The food was mediocre and bland and the service not that great. They charge a fee to use card--but also do not give the coin portion of your change--which I kinda feel is another fee just to pay cash. Last I checked they still make nickels, dimes, and quarters. This spot is a little out of the way so I don't think that we would return.

Fries: crispy, crunchy, hot, fresh, salty, overall great fry. Onion rings: one of the best I've had. Crispy, crunchy, hot, fresh, salty, good onion flavor. Green chile pepper burger: It can go head to head with any burger chain, Hopdoddy or Whataburger. To me it's in the same top tier of burgers. The bun has to be Martins potato bun soft nice chew with a hint of egg flavor. Toasted on both sides so they got it done right. The beef patty has to be 80/20 maybe that's why it's beefy and moist in the center. The mayo mixed with the spicy green peppers adds just layers of flavors. When you bite into it, you get the soft bun immediately you get that kick from the green peppers then you get that creaminess from the mayo, and then it all comes together with that beefy flavor from the patty. The thick cuts of pickles, tomatoes and lettuce really adds freshness that the burger needs because it's very heavy and rich. It has an umami and has that crave factor. They selected the right onions, red, the red onion goes well with the green chile. The zing from the red onions adds more flavor. The meal is not cheap to say, $15 for a burger is up in price but you get what you pay for and to me, based on the location, based on the overall freshness, it's worth it. It's worth paying a higher amount to get a higher valued meal. If you want ranch, you have to ask for it and plus no extra charge.

I mentioned to my wife that these kinds of places often have kitchens and boy we were in luck. The man in charge, Albert, descended on us and started simultaneously asking what we wanted to order AND praising the virtues of his tamales, among other things. But he had me at "Birria". After being introduced to birria tacos by my lifelong friend, Joel, I have been a huge fan ever since. The website mentioned reservations but accepting walk-ins also; my wife made a reservation for 8 at 7:40p, and that turned out well, as the couple in front of us hadn't done so & went out front to wait. We had a very attentive waitress, & sat on a raised stage by the window which was cool, but note: tall chairs there maybe not great for short legs. When she poured our water we didn't have to request, she left the carafe, which I supposed was a labor saving idea --until she came back repeatedly and refilled our glasses with it! It aided our date night that the two flat screens had artworks displayed not a basketball game or Chive videos of folks getting injured for 15 seconds of fame. Menu is in the upper middle price range for us but we did an easy work-around to get some upscale food, anyway:: We ordered a bowl of gumbo from the appetizer list, with two spoons; (yeah, been married 41 years)... Arrived perfect temp, not to hot to dig right in. The 6 crab claws broken to expose the meat were a nice touch we've never seen; we try everyone's gumbo: prolly the best we've had recently if ever. Continuing that theme, we shared the 14 oz Japanese style (name recipes me) new horn strip, truly too much for one normal appetite: the already flavorful tender steak was helped even more by a unique brown sauce with capers: and my Dad said a good steak doesn't NEED any help. Well, this steak was so good let's just say "the sauce was gravy." We like Brussels sprouts broiled; so my wife asked when ordering the steak, which comes with creamed sprouts, if they could be broiled: instead our waitress asked the chefs who actually flash fried them with salt and pepper, perfectly, with crunchy outer leaves & al dent inside. My wife ordered a 14.00 glass of Pinot noir; the cool wine glass was a generous size --and filled generously. We like the pretentious wine descriptions from the backs of bottles; bartender let us take a photo of the label but suggested the "vivino" app to get the lowdown on any wine. Finished off sharing the bread pudding with rum soaked yellow raisins, great flavor without excess sweetness, and thanked our waitress Katy.
