Had a lunch on the back patio on a Friday. Overall the food was fresh and the ambiance excellent. First time for me, and I'd definitely go back. It seems like there is a resort/hotel adjacent, as there was a pool in view and some vacationers were chilling poolside. Started with a flatbread, and it was wonderful. The cheese was delicate and not overloading the focaccia. I'm not a fan of balsamic glaze, but this one didn't overpower, and I didn't mind it at all. Had a Florida 77 salad with seared tuna. Wonderfully flavorful and balanced. Dressing on the side. I'd get it again, but with the blackened salmon. Tried The Bounty cocktail and it was so tasty my wife traded me for her Spa Day cocktail, which was simple yet refreshing. We celebrated our boys winning the Regional Competition a 3rd place in Mathematics and Computational Science in the Palm Beach County! They picked Farmers Table to celebrate it! This place is really good, i'd definitely go back. I split the hanger steak and thai glazed salmon with my wife, the kids enjoyed the kids meals, pizza and grilled cheese. We ordered the steak medium but should have gotten medium rare, it came with chimichurri sauce, roasted brussel sprouts tomatoes and potatoes. The salmon was served over a bed of quinoa carrots and peas with a dollop of spicy aoli and avocado sauce on the side. The sauces were great but not enough. Thankfully the waiter brought us more. Disappointed...Families Not accommodated at Dinner We dined at Farmer's Table in Boca Raton with our family this evening which included our two-year-old, and five year old, only to discover a policy that left us stunned: although the restaurant owns high chairs, they refuse to make them available during dinner service--a decision that is both baffling and burdensome for families with young children. Let me be clear: this is not a case of the restaurant lacking high chairs. They have them on-site but intentionally restrict access after a certain hour, as a matter of policy established by the "Management Team". When we asked to use one, we were told they're only used for lunch and then stored away for the evening. No logical or rationale was provided. As parents, we were left to balance our toddler on our laps throughout dinner, making what should have been an enjoyable family meal uncomfortable and impractical. This policy sends a clear message: young children are not wanted during dinner service. While the restaurant is free to set its own policies, this one defies basic logic and hospitality. Parents should not be forced to choose between dining out and subjecting themselves--and nearby patrons--to the chaos of toddlers without proper seating. More importantly, Farmer's Tableshould consider the implications of such a policy from a public accommodation standpoint. If a child required a seating accommodation due to a disability, would the restaurant still withhold access based on the time of day? It's a slippery slope, and one that veers dangerously close to discriminatory treatment. We had expected Farmer's Table to reflect the inclusive and family-friendly values suggested by its name and reputation. Unfortunately, this policy--and the rigid way it was enforced--made it clear that some guests are more welcome than others. We were offered a booster but, for a two year old is impractical especially when they have high chairs. Until this policy is revised, we will not be returning--and we encourage other families to think twice before making a reservation. I will say the Manager did a good job of calmly explaining this ridiculous policy and discounted our bill...which we never asked for or wanted. I want families aware of this issue and highly encourage families with young children to consider other options besides Farmers Table. read more

We had a fabulous time at happy hour at Farmer's Table on Friday evening. We had five people and they put two high tops together in the bar area for us. The happy hour menu has lots of options including non alcoholic drinks. We had hummus, flatbreads, potatoes, avocado and cucumber tartare, and buffalo cauliflower. The only restaurant in town where it's your fault if the waitress places the wrong order. Before the fiasco with the meal began, the service was poor, or should I say nonexistent. Our waitress refused to check in on us, or the table next to us. We had a 115 reservation and by 2:30. We were still waiting on our food. The coffee that was ordered was delivered at around 2:45, with no milk or creamer. It appeared that all other sections of the restaurant were fed and looked pleased. Unfortunately, anytime we asked for anything at all, we got the look of death from our server and follow up servers. There were several managers, and many empty tables, but yet an inexcusable weight for food. The managers laid the guilt on very thick when I asked to be served my meal at 3 o'clock. The only time anyone paid any attention to us was when they handed us the bill and wanted a tip. Sad because we have always felt like our $$$ was appreciated. We were so excited to try Farmers Table restaurant tonight. Vegan and healthy options were advertised online. However, we had a very difficult time ordering anything that does not have oil on it. We chose everything on the menu that supposedly is a healthy option and not one item was not marinated in oil or oil was in the sauce. I am allergic to oil so therefore, I had no other option but to order a big platter of lettuce onion and tomato on it and cucumber. We asked for bread and they had nothing but a very small piece of naan bread, the size of a half of pita pocket. My recommendation to this restaurant is to have some chickpeas with no oil on it on the side for people who eat a whole food plant-based diet. It's an easy fix for this beautiful restaurant. Staff was super attentive as well! Brunch style menu served buffet style was delicious and perfect! My favorite was the potatoes and French toast (and apparently everyone else's as the tray was cleaned out - video)! Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. What I find disappointing is that there doesn't seem to be consistency in my grass fed burger cooked medium or medium rare. After asking how to order a burger a little pink in the middle I ordered medium. It was completely brown inside. Last night I ordered medium rare. It couldn't be more pink and still be cooked. I don't like returning food to the kitchen so did not either visit. The other issue I have is that there's no substitutions allowed with their burger. You're stuck with their version of cole slaw, like it or not. I do not. If you want their version of fries, baked Yukon wedges, you have to order a side to go next to the cole slaw you may not even want. Disappointing. The younger person in our group was not offered a kids menu so I asked for one. He was not going to order anything from the menu otherwise. He ordered spaghetti with meatballs. It had one chicken meatball cut in half. The spaghetti on the adult menu is not noodles, it's spaghetti squash, yuck. I'm looking for someplace else for my group to meet at next time. This is the first place we stopped to eat at in Boca Ratone and it set a stellar example. Their menu was very friendly to vegan, and gluten free options. They also had grass fed beef which was really good. I ordered the grass fed beef burger with cheddar added on. The burger was very juicy and the bun really complimented the burger. The tuna melt and the bread n spread were both enjoyed at our table. I really liked the artwork, decorations, and style of the place. They had lots of plant diagrams and various earth friendly themes. At their outside entrance they had a garden with various plants growing, I'm not sure if they use that at the restaurant but it seemed like they might, which is a great touch. This place was very accommodating, I don't eat meat and they substitute shrimp for chicken in the Chicken Pita which is delicious. The Thai Salmon was cooked perfect with lots of flavor. We had the Shrimp and Garlic flatbread asked to add arugula was excellent. The outside patio is delightful inside you do need a sweater or jacket it can be on the chilly side. Service was excellent!! The only thing I can say is that the food looked marvelous but it tasted too healthy. There is nothing wrong with healthy, but as I was telling my coworkers "nothing is really hitting the buds" . I mean if the Caesar salad was the best tasting thing, it has to say something. The next best thing was the chicken, but even that was ok.
