Went for breakfast in the outdoor patio and it was impossible to eat because of the swarms of flies. The waitress brought a little fan but it didn't help. Great food, but the wait to order and receive it was extremely long. We were staying at the resort, and trying to order sometimes felt nearly impossible. Suggestion: add an ordering kiosk near the pool/bar so guests can place orders quickly. Or even a sign to let guest know what to do or how to order as the servers are hard to track down. We have been here so many times. NOW the prices are absolutely ridiculous, they are trying to be a Miami Resturant. A Burger is $30!!!!!! Are you kidding me!!! The saving grace of this place is the gorgeous views! There was also a pool and I would definitely come back during the day to have cocktails and Lounge. I also loved the staff, they were really sweet. Unfortunately, there was a backup with the kitchen and someone in our party didn't get their meal until the rest of us were finished. Food was decent. I came for lunch and dinner, so this review will be a hybrid of the 2 experiences. The drinks are good. My favorite was a frozen drink called the Seareel Sangria. It was so refreshing and delicious. They had a great wine selection, and I liked all the wine I ordered. The food is not special. The fish tacos are just okay. The steak and fries were really good. Compared to the other restaurant in the hotel, the service was disappointing. The waitress barely checked in, and the overall safe was always missing. The flies are insane. 1/14/2025- waitress was professional and patient with us. We had a couple of drinks and the hummus to start with. My only problem is the nan bread was all the bottom of it was already in the hummus ,so if you didn't want the hummus, it was already on the bread. We then shared the Asian cabbage salad, and the chef was kind enough to split it for us, but from the last time we had it, there was a lot more roughage/lettuce since just strictly cabbage from a bag. Early in the week I reached out to make a reservation for Mother's Day brunch. Upon arrival, we were seated and told someone would come by shortly to take drink orders and bring water. Unfortunately, we sat at our table for over 25 minutes without a single server stopping by, while staff continued tending to surrounding tables. Eventually, we got up and headed to the buffet, where we were finally able to stop a passing waiter and ask for drinks ourselves. The overall food experience was also disappointing. Much of the buffet food appeared to be sitting out in the sun, and the dessert table included fruit and yogurt that were noticeably warm and well past an acceptable temperature. For the price and occasion, the level of service and food quality was incredibly underwhelming. Stopped in at Sea Spray on a Saturday afternoon with some friends. We took the boat and parked at the dock - the dock hands were very friendly and helpful. It was a bit of a rainy afternoon so the outside patio wasn't busy at all when we arrived. Once the rain stopped (when we were leaving) it did get busier. They have a nice pool area which I assume is open to any guests dining at the restaurant but I'm not sure. Our server was fantastic! The food options were your average bar food. I expected more for the area and for the location to be honest. We all got the special for the day - the BLT with chicken. Very average and nothing to write home about. The truffle parm fries were the best part honestly. They did charge us a corkage fee since we brought our own champagne; normal and expected. Located at the Waterstone Resort & Marina Boca Raton is the Sea Spray Inlet Grill which is right on and overlooking the waters of Boca Inlet. It's a good-sized space with seating for about 100. And though right next to the bascule bridge of A1A, not a bother. You get very little road noise and the bridge going up warning is actually more charming than annoying. The wall murals of Florida plants and wilds are a most colorful décor, especially as a backdrop to the bar. I started with their Caesar which came with a good fresh crispy romaine and a creamy dressing. For my entrée, I had their Chicken Milanese which was perfectly, deliciously breaded, and delightfully enhanced with a balsamic glaze; totally delicious and totally tender. Pretty slow service but decent food and great views. I've been here several times when meeting friends who are staying at the hotel. It doesn't ever seem as though they have enough servers, as they're usually filling the roles of bartenders and food runners, as well. The woman at the bar who turned out to be our waitress could not be bothered to even look my way when I kept saying excuse me trying to get her attention. We found a table, it was an awful day to come very windy and kind of cool on this Monday. Then it took 7 minutes for someone to come and say hello and ask what we wanted to drink and give menus. I received my cocktail about 20 minutes later but my daughter who ordered a cocktail with blue curaçao did not receive hers, the waitress told her they were out of that ingredient. That would have been nice to know during that 20 minutes. My daughter ordered something else and it took another 15 minutes to receive it. Completely Unacceptable! Thankfully the truffle fries came out fast. Shockingly, our food was not bad. The Keylime pie was not bad either. Cocktails were OK but they all look the same and had the same color. I think for the prices, you need to do better with service and comfort. It's funny my coworker told me to stay far away from this place and I should've listened. The service is terrible! This is a go-to spot for me. The food is great!! Please bring back the tuna nachos they were amazing. The view is something worth coming for. On busy days, you can watch the boats cruise by and go under the bridge while also seeing Lake Boca. Our drinks were so good and the food was also great. Solid spot located at the Waterstone/Hilton- I wasn't staying at the hotel so I can only speak on grabbing lunch around 2pm on a Tuesday! They do have a beautiful seating area right near the pool/ on the water. Server was very kind and food was ok! For convenience sake it's a great spot for a light bite or drinks! I was staying at the hotel and just wanted an easy dinner. Had read the reviews and was hesitant to go..many negative comments on the service speed, quality of food and prices. I visited on 2.28.23 and had a great experience particularly as it relates to the speed of service and friendliness of the team there. I was greeted immediately upon entering and had a fun back and forth with the hostess. Was seated immediately and the server was by within a minute. I found the customer service to be excellent and have no hesitation to recommend on that point. My dinner was delivered within 5 minutes of ordering and my drink within 2 minutes. Arabella was my waitress and she was as OUTSTANDING. I ordered the soy ginger chicken wings and they were perfectly fine. The flavor was good and what I expected. My bet is it was out of a bottle but it was tasty. The wings were a bit small but fine. The price was $18 for 8 wings and, at a resort during the season, that seemed reasonable. Also, the folks around me seemed to be enjoying themselves and I did not detect and service issues, so, they likely may have solved that problem. The other thing to mention is the great location. The outdoor seating is on the water with a neat view of the draw bridge...it just feels like a south FL kind of place. THE VIEW IS SO GORGEOUS and the peace you breathe and take in is renewing, however, the food is not so much as it will send you throwing up or leave your tummy feeling a little funny. Yesterday morning I had the Cheddar Scrambled Eggs with multigrain toast and homemade sausages as well as mixed fruit oatmeal, so let's start at the eggs; you could tell they were egg beaters, the cheddar was ok and you could kind of eat it but fast because after they get cold they just taste even worse. The sausages I am concerned about how they truly make them as they didn't taste ANYTHING close to being sausages and there was a weird aftertaste in your mouth that couldn't be removed even after drinking coffee. The oatmeal? Oh my goodness EXTREMELY NAUSEATING, had no sugar, was made with water (OATMEAL IS MEANT TO BE COOKED WITH MILK), and was extremely thick so it felt I was eating oat straight out of the box, they put SO MUCH fruit on top of the oatmeal that it was impossible to even mix it, brown sugar was nowhere to be found even after it was requested to the server upon the order being taken. First, you get into the restaurant there is no one there ever, the employees are ALWAYS somehow IN THE KITCHEN and never willing to help, I had to go up to the employees and request a menu (they behave like THEY'RE THE ONES DOING YOU A FAVOR) and go pick a table MYSELF ( I don't understand the point of having a host if she won't do her job, sincerely a position that since the hotel is trying to cut down on expenses I think they can start there and get rid of that position for both indoors and outdoors) then upon seating, I had to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes before someone came to take my order but couldn't follow instructions (because as I have mentioned before they seem to be illiterate or just straight up do not give a flying f*** about the place and want their employers to shut it down) I had to GET UP, walk up to the bar BECAUSE YET AGAIN NO EMPLOYEE WAS AROUND, had to ask for salt, pepper and ketchup because the so called "waitress" couldn't even remember the proper steps of service SOMEHOW in the little time it took me to walk to the bar and back an employee finally decided to show up outside and while I grabbed the S&P he decided that he was going to clear my table which was very noticeable that the food hadn't even been touched since I had just received it when I was waiting for somebody to drop by and check in (THAT NEVER HAPPENED EITHER, after you drop off food you need to make a second contact with the customer to check the quality of the food, see if there is any complaints or if anything needs to be changed/addressed) I proceeded to eat the food adding as much salt and pepper as possible to have some kind of flavor on the food because they are unaware of seasonings as well. When placing my initial order I had made the waitress aware of the fact that I would be ordering extra food to bring upstairs for my boyfriend as he is a WFH and didn't get the chance to have breakfast because (AND THIS IS A MAJOR REASON WHY YOU PROBABLY SHOULDN'T EVEN ENTERTAIN THIS PLACE) they do not start serving breakfast until 10am, in any other hotel breakfast starts at 6am even if it's just a continental breakfast. I get my "to-go" order, I get upstairs and NO FORKS OR KNIVES and NO DRINKS I had to go downstairs because when you call from the room; no matter what you press the phone calls get redirected to the front desk and they transfer you to wherever you want to call with no success because there is never an answer, no employees to be found, finally someone came out of the kitchen and I told them what I was missing so they could fulfill the order and throughout all the time I waited I didn't see the server who took my order ONCE or any other employee for that matter. In resume, the Seaspray Inlet & Grill along with the Waterstone Resort & Marina are decaying businesses that NEED desperate salvation from both business people who know how to properly run a hotel and a food industry connoisseur that can max out the beautiful space they have which offers so much potential.Tighten up, get a better staff (ONE THAT UNDERSTANDS THIS IS NOT THE HOOD AND THAT THE CUSTOMER IS TO BE TREATED IN A SPECIFIC WAY ALWAYS) do some thorough cleaning of all the amenities and common spaces as well as a paint job, and solve all the MOLD situation there is throughout the whole hotel and stop trying to minimize the cost of operation or just keep on having to face customers like me that PAY ATTENTION to the little details and have NO fear of speaking up on what is wrong with VERBATIM so that it can get addressed.
