    Tagliatelle. Exceptional dish.
    Ray C.

All of the food was remarkable. I had the tagliatelle and will get it again. The vibe is very contemporary and fun. Inside had a high noise level so we enjoyed our door dining. Antonio was an excellent server and had a good sense of humor. There was an error which he addressed quickly and it didn't take away from the awesome experience. I highly recommend Gabriella's.

It was my first time at the restaurant and I was impressed by the wonderful ambience, the delicious food, the staff and the owner who made a point of greeting diners. Jason was our waiter and Carlos was the busboy, and both did a great job. We will return!

We waited awhile after Gabriella's opened to give it a try! The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. The Pork Chop with Balsamic Glaze you could cut with a fork, so tender and juicy. The fresh pasta with Short Rib Ragu was decacant , rich deep flavor. The famous pasta with spicy Vodka sauce was perfectly balanced, not too hot to mask the flavors. Try the veal meatball appetizer and garlic bread, both very good! Enjoy!

First off, it is so insanely loud in here I could hardly hear across the table. There's a dj who was very good, however, if you want to talk to your party maybe try elsewhere. I did enjoy most of the food. The garlic bread was the best appetizer to be honest. The nori cone was good but for the price you only get 3 tiny cones. The crispy rice was good but almost too chewy. I did enjoy my vodka rigatoni, but I liked my brother's pesto gnocchi more! Lastly, service is pretty bad... our server came over for the bare minimum to take our order. Never checked in once the entrees came out, only came over once the busser had cleared the plates to ask if we wanted dessert. It was my brothers birthday so the redeeming factor is that they did give us sparklers with the dessert we ordered which I appreciated.

We here while visiting a friend who lives here. The atmosphere was great. We had the best service from Taylor and Marc. They were very attentive to us. We started with drinks. Then we had fried calamari, which was very tender. Then we had Spicy Rigatoni and the Branziio Milanese! Every thing was awesome!

    Not a good pour

Enjoyed but touchy chef. This place definitely has an attitude, but they do deliver on the food and the ambience is lovely. Not too generous with the pour I have to add. The chef wouldn't split the food in the kitchen and it was only 5pm - not the way to win over locals.

ANTONIO greeted us with a huge smile and welcomed us to our table. Restaurant is elegant and beautiful and should be in NYC. The food was like no other Italian restaurant anywhere. Served quietly and plated beauty. The garlic bread was warm, meat was the best ever, Bronzino was caught fresh, eggplant was like no other. Even the Caesar salad was prepared like artistry. Taramisu was served table side and prepared right in front of us. Our dining experience was exceptional and our food was better than Michelin star prepared. We could go back tomorrow for additional tastings. A "MUST TRY" SUPPORT LOCAL!

Gabriella's Modern Italian is an experience! Hostesses warmly greet you take you to a beautiful table, no matter what room you sit in whether is the patio, the dining room, or the bar area it's beautiful, the food is pretty spectacular. Presentation is absolutely gorgeous Caesar salad amazing, short ribs cooked to perfect perfection. And then there's dessert tableside tiramisu can't be beat.

I recently dined here and had an amazing experience. I made reservations ahead of time on a Sunday evening. I wasn't sure of the parking situation but I found a parking garage connected downstairs. It was very easy to walk upstairs and be right there at the restaurant. I walked in and noticed that the restaurant was very busy. They were turning walk-ins away. The bar was also full. The hosts upfront were not very friendly upon checking in but perhaps they were busy. Our party of 2 were seated fairly quickly. We looked the menu over as our server took a long time to come over to us. We didn't get water for about 15 minutes after being seated. When he did come over, he offered friendly chatter and answered questions that we had. I picked out the Nori cone appetizer for myself and was told it was sold out. I ordered the tartare instead and my friend ordered the caesar salad. I loved the tartare. I would come back immediately for that appetizer! The caesar salad is not a traditional salad. It was 4 pieces of lettuce topped with dressing, cheese, and bacon. I thought the presentation was beautiful but not as light as I was thinking. For our main entrees, we ordered the garganelli and the campanele. Both delicious but the garganelli pasta was a bit better. These pastas are very light. It reminded me of pasta from Italy. The large plates came out and I thought we definitely would have leftovers. Nope! Very light and delicious. We were able to eat our entire entree. That was the biggest pro and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We tried the tableside tiramisu and it was a great experience watching the employee making it for us! It wasn't for us though. It wasn't a traditional tiramisu. Not cold. And more soggy / ice cream like. We had a hard time finding our server at the end of the night. The dinner definitely seemed dragged out longer than it should have been. We were waiting for the check for another 15-20 minutes.

This was a great dinner experience for my best friend and I! We ordered the truffle fries, Caesar salad, octopus and table side tiramisu! 10's across the board. Frank D, was an excellent server and the staff was friendly. Love the vibe of the whole restaurant.

Disappointed experience coming back to Gabriella's a year later. Prices are very high for pasta , no fresh Parmesan cheese is offer or brought to the table, we had to ask for Parmesan cheese and the waitress brought us a little container . It was my husbands birthday, we were the first ones in a restaurant, and they put us on a little table by the bathroom (I didn't say anything cuz upsets my husband) .The tiramisu wasn't the best one, is different, just ok. And they charge $4 if you pay with credit card

Incredible food, decent menu, tasty drink menu, we celebrated a birthday for my wife. Lisa, our server was impressive and did a wonderful job while working other tables. Expensive, 4 adults 2 kids, with tip over $500 Great atmosphere early, was becoming more of a singles hang out after 730-8pm

    Pear martini
    Marcie M.

The carpaccio was delicious, but my pasta was just salt. Very disappointing. The tiramisu and pistachio martini at the end were very good for dessert. The pistachio martini is a dessert all in itself. I don't think I would need the tiramisu next time. They do make a table side and it's a nice presentation and tasted good for the tiramisu. My pasta was just so bad that I can only give this a three stars. The restaurant has a nice vibe and they play music and it is dressy. It was a good crowd.

Our table ordered a mix of dishes, including the veggie omelet made with three eggs, mushrooms, garlic, leeks, spinach, Gruyère, and crispy fried potatoes (one friend swapped the potatoes for tomatoes). I went with the avocado toast, topped with lemon, tomato, watermelon radish, piment d'Espelette, and sea salt. It was fresh, beautifully presented, and much larger than I expected--I happily took half of it home for later. To celebrate the birthday girl, we couldn't resist sharing the unadulterated double chocolate pecan brownie, topped with caramel and chocolate mousse. It was rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to brunch. We sang "Happy Birthday," shared lots of laughs, and enjoyed a wonderful morning together. Great food, a fun atmosphere, and the perfect ending to a relaxing morning in Delray. I always love finding ways to support local, and this was definitely a brunch worth repeating. Just a note - we were able to use our in kind offer which was also very nice. A few bucks saved is very nice these days.

The Ave has grown significantly around it over the years, but it's still one of the staple restaurants in a central location. Overall, it was great meal with good service and nice atmosphere. It's sill one of the gems. We started with the wedge salad and cheesy bread. We wanted to get the Filet Mignon and the Prime Cut Ribeye to share them, but they were out of the Filet which was a bit surprising. Instead, we got the Crispy Chicken Piccata. They were both excellent. The fingerlings and asparagus were good and loved the red wine sauce. The crispy chicken was not too heavy, with lemon and an ample arugula salad. I don't remember the name of desert, but it was a combo of a browny with an Oreo cookie layer (which the kid in me couldn't refuse) with a scoop vanilla ice cream. It was great.

We ended up liking the classic more just because the fresh ingredients were reminiscent of those we had in Mexico. It was a little too warm out to be doubling down on spice in our drinks too. We ordered a brisket quesadilla and for our tacos: carnitas, chorizo, and crispy fish. For our second round (not pictured), my husband tried the spicy chicken. He was warned the spicy chicken is exceptionally spicy but he didn't think that warning was warranted so maybe don't be afraid to try it if you're not big on spice.
