We've been talking about going to Gabriella's ever since it opened. We decided to make it a special occasion and experience it on our anniversary. We got there early enough to sit at the bar, have a drink, and order an appetizer. We chose the truffle ricotta. It was awesome, and came with great truffle flavor and fig slices. The perfect way to start the evening. The bartenders were attentive, pleasant, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The music was at a comfortable volume, very nostalgic and the vibe was great. We told the hostess when we were ready to be seated at our table. Suddenly, the volume went up on the music and the crowd started arriving. Definitely a party atmosphere! We decided on a glass of wine and a bunch of appetizer dishes to share. The Caesar salad was very creatively presented, but for flavor, I would give it 6 out of 10 stars. The garlic bread, however, was a 9 and a definite recommendation! We also ordered the grilled octopus, which looked a lot different than the pictures we saw on their website, but had good flavor and was cooked well. A solid 7. The Nori Cones were a big surprise. We loved them and wished there were more than 3 to an order. A true 10! Lastly, we decided to go with the tableside tiramisu as a shared anniversary dessert, and it was just plain delicious! Not only that, our waiter - who was both patient and accommodating - delivered dessert with... Flare Candles! All in all, a very memorable, and enjoyable, way to spend our anniversary dinner. I had high hopes for this place -- the kind you develop after reading a menu that charges $28 for gnocchi. Unfortunately, the food and the staff conspired to disappoint in equal measure. The pesto gnocchi arrived looking the part: beautifully plated, artfully drizzled, completely devoid of flavor. I'm not sure what basil did to the kitchen to deserve such a muted representation, but the dish tasted like it had been described pesto rather than made with it. The texture was fine. The experience was not. The server assigned to our table seemed to regard us as an inconvenience he was graciously tolerating. Every interaction carried the faint suggestion that we weren't quite sophisticated enough to be there -- questions were answered with barely concealed impatience, and recommendations were delivered as corrections rather than suggestions. Good service at a restaurant like this should feel elevated, not alienating. The atmosphere is undeniably gorgeous, and the crowd was well-dressed and suitably impressed with themselves. If you enjoy paying a premium to feel slightly inferior while eating forgettable food, this is your place. For the rest of us, there are Italian restaurants that remember hospitality is also part of the menu. read more

Went in with high expectations as I've been to two of their other locations. Gabriella's Steakhouse in Red Bank NJ and Patricia's of Holmdel NJ. These spots were spectacular. And both have 5 stars from me. This spot missed it, wasn't blown away with the Meatballs as an appetizer and the Bolognese dish. The Garlic Bread was the only highlight of the meal. The service was a little confusing, which I had a friend which was here a few weeks ago and also had service issues. I believe they need to work and focus on service. The restaurant has a good layout, but has a huge gnat problem. We were fighting them off the whole meal. This is probably one of the biggest reasons why we struggled in here. We waited awhile after Gabriella's opened to give it a try! The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. The Pork Chop with Balsamic Glaze you could cut with a fork, so tender and juicy. The fresh pasta with Short Rib Ragu was decacant , rich deep flavor. The famous pasta with spicy Vodka sauce was perfectly balanced, not too hot to mask the flavors. First off, it is so insanely loud in here I could hardly hear across the table. There's a dj who was very good, however, if you want to talk to your party maybe try elsewhere. I did enjoy most of the food. The garlic bread was the best appetizer to be honest. The nori cone was good but for the price you only get 3 tiny cones. The crispy rice was good but almost too chewy. I did enjoy my vodka rigatoni, but I liked my brother's pesto gnocchi more! Lastly, service is pretty bad... our server came over for the bare minimum to take our order. Never checked in once the entrees came out, only came over once the busser had cleared the plates to ask if we wanted dessert. It was my brothers birthday so the redeeming factor is that they did give us sparklers with the dessert we ordered which I appreciated. read more

I recently dined here and had an amazing experience. I made reservations ahead of time on a Sunday evening. I wasn't sure of the parking situation but I found a parking garage connected downstairs. It was very easy to walk upstairs and be right there at the restaurant. I walked in and noticed that the restaurant was very busy. They were turning walk-ins away. The bar was also full. The hosts upfront were not very friendly upon checking in but perhaps they were busy. Our party of 2 were seated fairly quickly. We looked the menu over as our server took a long time to come over to us. We didn't get water for about 15 minutes after being seated. When he did come over, he offered friendly chatter and answered questions that we had. I picked out the Nori cone appetizer for myself and was told it was sold out. I ordered the tartare instead and my friend ordered the caesar salad. I loved the tartare. I would come back immediately for that appetizer! The caesar salad is not a traditional salad. It was 4 pieces of lettuce topped with dressing, cheese, and bacon. I thought the presentation was beautiful but not as light as I was thinking. For our main entrees, we ordered the garganelli and the campanele. Both delicious but the garganelli pasta was a bit better. These pastas are very light. It reminded me of pasta from Italy. The large plates came out and I thought we definitely would have leftovers. Nope! Very light and delicious. We were able to eat our entire entree. That was the biggest pro and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We tried the tableside tiramisu and it was a great experience watching the employee making it for us! It wasn't for us though. It wasn't a traditional tiramisu. Not cold. And more soggy / ice cream like. We had a hard time finding our server at the end of the night. Prices are very high for pasta , no fresh Parmesan cheese is offer or brought to the table, we had to ask for Parmesan cheese and the waitress brought us a little container . Made reservations for a party of 5, arrived on time and had a bit of a wait for the table- no problem aside from the poor attitude of the hostesses which was similar to the attitude given over the phone when calling to see if there was any openings for indoor over outdoor seating. We were taken to our table which was insanely small and tight and uncomfortable for a party of 5. The booths are I shaped, narrow, stiff and uncomfortable with a gap in the middle as well as the large round leg of the table pushed to the bench, reinforcing this isn't a table to seat 5. I cannot imagine anyone larger sitting at the table-- we are all petite- average size and this was the case. We saw a round table with 6 seats which also looked tight and asked to move but were told no without explanation so we assumed a party of 6 was actually planned to be seated there. Overall- significant work to accommodate guests-- this is a small restaurant as opposed to what it looks in pictures and perhaps there's overbooking or the setup they need is not accommodating to large parties. This definitely played negatively into first impression. Also, there's two stalls in the women's bathroom- poorly designed as well.. we had a long wait both times we went. Onto ordering-- plus side- server was friendly and outgoing very attentive and available. The drinks came quickly without a wait. We ordered meatballs and firecracker shrimp- not impressed. Meatballs were identified to be best dish and they lacked flavor. The shrimp were tasty. Orders are to be taken at once, my friend and I split chicken parm and garganelli with truffle. The food came out within what seemed to be 15 mins which felt rushed. The chicken parm did not come with any pasta, just a large cutlet of chicken, it was okay- again not that flavorful. The garganelli was flavorful and pasta cooked just right so would recommend the pasta dishes- large enough to share. The tableside tiramisu was a nice touch and would recommend. It seems there's a theme of this establishment lacking customer service and being dismissive. There's also not management replies on any of these posts which seems to indicate concern for customer experience may not be their focus. read more

Okay...as a Northeast Italian-American, this place did not disappoint. We started with the bone marrow and the calamari, and both were exceptional. I loved that the calamari wasn't fried!! Instead it came in a fresh, flavorful sauce with corn, tomatoes, and beans. Everything paired beautifully. The bone marrow was out of this world. It was creamy, rich, and served with perfectly toasted bread that balanced it perfectly. For our main course we ordered two pasta dishes, both cooked to absolute perfection. It's definitely on the pricier side, but worth every penny. Incredible dining experience! We had family come into town last minute who are big foodies. We've been everywhere on the Ave together but have been wanting to try Gabriella's since they've opened. We were able to get a last minute reservation inside at 9:30pm on a Saturday night. It was quite late but we knew it would be worth the wait. The exterior is equally as beautiful as the interior. They have valet parking upon arrival and it is $15 if you eat at one of the restaurants. We arrived a little early to hopefully get seated sooner but it was so busy we understood we'd have to wait. The music was so fun and the energy of the place was incredible. They play a mix of techno. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. We were sat at 9:30 on the dot. The staff was incredibly attentive and made our experience even better. We sat under the chandelier in the back which was nice because we had a whole view of the place and bar. For appetizers we ordered the carpaccio, artichokes and smoked burrata. Everything was amazing! Literally not one complaint. The carpaccio was our favorite for sure. For dishes we ordered the mushroom pasta dish, snapper, branzino, and spicy rigatoni. I loved the spicy rigatoni and snapper. The rigatoni had a luscious sauce that was spicy and rich. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The snapper came in a tomato sauce packed with flavor. It highlighted the sweet notes of the fish and was so well balanced. For dessert, we ordered the table side tiramisu. Not only was the presentation an experience of its own, it was one of the best tiramisu I've had. Overall, I loved the spot and will be coming back! I really enjoyed my meal here at Gabriella's. Just know that when u come here, you're gonna have to valet your car. It's $15. The food, drinks and service is all 5 stars. The noise outside that they can't control was so loud. I'm not taking a star off since it's due to the constructions across the street. But the drilling noise hurt my ears so bad. If u were going to make reservations here, get a table INDOORS bc the drilling was from 4:30-6:30. That particular day and we caught the end of it. I felt bad for the valets who had to endure that noise for 2 hours. I absolutely love the steak frites here. It's so damn juicy and flavorful. I come here everytime I'm in town. Last time I came here all of the waiters looked like models. This time, idk where they were lol. The food here is wonderful. Over never had anything bad here but we all came for that table side tiramisu. Wow!!!! If u come here, order that and thank me later. We decided to try Gabriella's on for Father's Day brunch to see what the hype was all about. All of us was pretty excited to try a new Italian restaurant in Delray. As we arrived, we were greeted by the hostesses and then promptly taken to our table. The interior is very well designed...modern and inviting. Our server was Lucus, he was very professional and friendly. He explained some of the items on the Father's Day Specials and took our orders. We settled on the Pork Meatballs and Mac and Cheese for our daughter, and we ordered the Spaghetti Vongole, Skirt Steak, Nori Cone, Broccolini, French Fries. All of the dishes came out accordingly and in timely manner, we didn't have to wait too long at all. The Skirt Steak was very delicious and very tender. Pork meatballs feels like it was all meat and seasonings and not too much filler breading. My daughter say the Mac and Cheese was the best she's ever had!! The Spaghetti Vongole on the other hand was a little disappointing, it was little bit on the saltier side and not much clam flavor and felt that there was too much olive oil splash on top (basically only tasted the salt and olive oil). Nori Cone was also disappointing, while the presentation of the dish looks beautiful with the Caviar and Gold, the tuna was already grey in color and all I tasted was the truffle oil and a little bit of the caviar. The best part of the meal was the ending Table Side Tiramisu!! Just WOW!! Tasty and delicious!! Overall, superb service, awesome vibe, stunning dining interior, the food was just ok or may be we're just used to Americanized Italian flavor. We had the eggplant Parmesan, which was delicious. We also had the chicken Parmesan, which was also very good no pasta came with it. We had the Bronzino. It was delicious but it's not a whole Bronzino. It's a half Bronzino so when you order that you're getting 1/2 of a Bronzino, with broccolini and cashews the Caesar salad was outstanding. It was 4 pieces of Romain lettuce hearts with Parmesan cheese They do not serve bread, but we ordered garlic bread, which was also very good. Wine was good. Just one little pet peeve for me the take away. Containers are not Eco friendly!!!! valet parking indoor outdoor seating. Coming back from Italy recent we had to check out Gabriella's food and service did not disappoint. Delicious and unique Italian dishes with a very creative cocktail list and a modern chic ambiance. Parking is a little limited and the actual entrance is tucked behind Hampton Social, kinda hard to find at first try. GPS doesn't direct you very well either. Love the large circle bar right when you walk in. Lots of space to catch up with a friend or get to know the bartender. The servers are friendly and quick with efficient food runners too. Started out with a very tasty Imcompearable cocktail mixed with Grey goose pear, St. Germain and lots of pear and lemon juice. Sweet and delightful. Then moved on to some refreshing beef tartare with caviar and parmesan. The Firecracker Shrimp was spicy, sweet and crunchy - very similar to bang bang shrimp. My spaghetti nero was a hefty portion and though in another picture I've seen Yelpers post, it was played with the lobster shell as decor, mine didn't have that but it was still very good. The sauce is a tangy tomato flavor and the rich squid ink pasta was cooked soft which is how I like it. There's half lobster and shrimp on top. My mom's Branzino had crispy skin on top and light flaky fish on bottom. Pan seared and with a delicate citrus sauce, it comes with broccolini cooked tender. Very light entree. Had to save room for dessert. The tableside tiramisu was the reason I came. My mom's all time favorite dessert dish was made very unique here. First the layer of lady's fingers then on went the espresso in full pour. Then the fluffy cream was lathered on. Sprinkles of cocoa powder sifted to that layer the finally the crunchy cocoa beads decorated the top. It was not super sweet, airy, and perfect. Great way to end the meal. Family dinner at Gabriella's for our Mother's Day Celebration. I was a bit hesitant after reading mixed reviews for Garbriella's Delray Beach outpost. Happy to say that was totally unfounded. The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning. The bar is the centerpiece of the restaurant and steals the show. Based on feedback from other folks who have dined at Gabriella's, we specified that we'd like a table in the main dining room so that we'd be able to maintain a conversation. The front/bar area of the restaurant has plenty of table seating, but it is loud. We were genuinely pleased with our main dining room table, which in addition to having a (slightly) lower noise level, was generously sized with really comfortable seating. It's nice to be in a restaurant that has tables that can accommodate family-style meals. We shared: Pork meatballs, simmered in tomato sauce, topped with Parmesan fonduta. These were 4 nicely sized meatballs that were light and delicious. Nori cone, truffled-spicy tuna tartare, kaluga caviar, 24k gold leaf. These are small but have a good amount of tuna and kaluga caviar. The gold leaf is a nice touch. My one issue with these are that the cones are soggy by the time they arrive to the table. I've had similar cones before where the cone remains crunchy (e.g., at Henry's Palm Beach). Hopefully they work this out. Firecracker shrimp, crispy shrimp, sweet Thai calabrian chili aioli. These were a hit, and yes, they are Gabriella's version of bang-bang shrimp. What seems odd, yet also enjoyable, is the addition of the Nori cone and Firecracker shrimp (served with chopsticks alongside) to this menu. Not items that you would typically expect in a "Modern Italian" restaurant, but a hit with my family! Garganelli, truffle butter, cream, peas, 18 month prosciutto. I found the truffle in this dish to be overwhelming, and the prosciutto was barely existent (I didn't even get a piece). I would pass on this the next time. Signature Spicy Rigatoni, spicy vodka sauce, Calabrian chili, bacon-onion soubise. This was my preferred pasta dish, although the rest of the family preferred the Garganelli. Eggplant Parmigiana, baked eggplant, tomato, mozzarella, basil pesto. I thought this absolutely delicious. I love baked (versus fried) eggplant Parm, and this was light and just perfection. Tiramisu, vanilla-mascarpone cream, savoiardi, espresso. A lovely table-side preparation, and this one was done right. The espresso permeated the dish. Overall, a lovely dinner. Is it my favorite Italian restaurant in the area? It was great and I'll definitely be back. Gabriella's in a word is 'fun'. A very lively atmosphere in a beautiful setting. But for me, Campi still reigns #1 in terms of menu selection/food, albeit in a much more formal setting. Why? Two issues with Gabriella's menu: 1) Too much truffle. Many people LOVE truffle. I'm not one of them and I know many others who are not fans. Five of Gabriella's Antipasti and Pasta dishes contain truffle. For me, the menu is just a little limited, especially because I prefer to order smaller dishes versus an entree. Again, not a problem for many. 2) No bread. You can order bread. Garlic bread to be specific (which I'm also not a fan of). That bread will cost you $14. All that yummy pasta sauce went to waste, because there was no option to even purchase a non-garlic bread basket (and in all honesty, giving a few slices of plain bread isn't going to make or break this restaurant). I called in advance to ask for a special table - or at the very least something not right by the door (where we were sat at first). We were then moved to the table right outside the kitchen as we were told there were other reservations that night (I booked well in advance so this was rather annoying). Our waitress seemed annoyed to be working, gave zero recommendations and then pretty much disappeared for the remainder of our meal only to return to ask if we wanted dessert. I will say the food was good (not great, not terrible) but definitely could've been delicious if seasoned more appropriately for the price we paid. The other servers were definitely more attentive to their diners and our food runners were terrific (to the point where I wish I could've left the tip just for them). In the future, I would definitely recommend managers keep an eye on certain wait staff standing around talking to one another while diners' courses were complete as we will certainly not be returning in the future. read more

The vibe is clubby - from the music, customer attire, and focus on the fabulous looking bar that seems to take over most of the restaurant. The owner, Frankie, was nice and I appreciated his making the rounds to all the customers. The servers are either very well trained or very experienced. I felt like we were in good hands, despite the place being packed. The food was delicious. We enjoyed every appetizer and entree we ordered. I'd go back for the chicken parm. Because it was so noisy, we sat outside. Unfortunately, the night we were there, it was like sitting in a wind tunnel. The prices are very high, making this a special occasion destination for most people. If I could, I'd give this restaurant 4.5 stars. read more

Was at Gabriella's about a month ago for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed it so I thought what a great place to plan a birthday brunch for a large group. I called 3 times and was always told to leave a message since it was a large party I had to deal with manager. The 3rd time I called, I was put on hold and when someone came back on line, I was told "manager said to just fill out form online" so I did that twice and still no response. My husband and I made a reservation here for our anniversary. I booked 4 days ahead and there weren't anymore dinner times, so we booked 4 PM. But it was perfect, and we got to sit outside. Our waiter Frank, was great! He gave us great recommendations! The cocktails were delicious and so was the food. The garlic bread is a must try. The campanelle pasta comes with wild mushrooms. If you're a mushroom lover definitely get it because there's a lot and definitely overpowering. I didn't mind it. Tiramisu was ok, not your traditional dessert. It was fun to have the table side experience. Overall, great food and service! We will be back! read more
