One of my favorite spots to visit and dine in at least once weekly. Clean, beautiful place, nice ambiance, great service and awesome staff... lastly the food is AMAZING! I get the salmon smorbrod like once a week... $11 bucks... you can't beat it and it's so delish!!! Visited with a fried for lunch today. First time and wasn't sure what to expect. Everything was fantastic. Great service, lots of cozy seating, and food. I had the Thai Peanut salad with salmon, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The ingredients were very fresh, nice sized portions, and reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and efficient. You order at the counter and then select somewhere to sit. There is a lot of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. I've come back here quite a few times, and each time it impresses me more and more. My inlaws were visiting from Austin, and the big bubba brisket sandwich BEYOND impressed my father in law. In fact that's all he could talk about the rest of the trip, was how much he loved the sandwich. The sauce is absolutely amazing and the brisket meat was so tender. I've tried all of the smorrebrod options and the overall consensus was that they're all delicious, you can't go wrong, but the veggie one believer it or not had more flavoring with the goat cheese, honey, mango and cranberries, and then it was the roast beef one. The Turkey Sumthin sandwich was also another favorite. The croissant is made amazingly, I don't like croissants because normally they're too flakey and bready, but this worked perfectly for the sandwich. The lemon dream dessert is AMAZING, vanilla ice cream with lemon zest and lavender syrup. We had their mocha shake twice, the first time was amazing and the 2nd time was watered down so it was a little disappointing since we talked it up and it was so lackluster. Hopefully when we come back again it'll be like the 1st time. I've had their baked goods a few times and they were okay. Nothing blew me out of the water with them, but it doesn't need to when your food is that amazing. My father in law is now considering getting a 2nd home in Wendell because he's obsessed with the big bubba sandwich. You probably think I'm kidding, but I'm not lol. That's how good it is lol. It's definitely worth coming to. We visited here for my birthday. I wanted something low maintenance and close to home. I had a hard cider and my husband a draft beer. We each ordered an entree different from the other. The food size is similar to a tapas feel and more of a gourmet touch. They also serve coffee, but we didnt try on this particular evening. Came here for brunch with neighbors and had a pretty nice experience. I ordered a "Turkey Sumthin" and the sausage was great, but there was unfortunately paper on the cheese in my sandwich. I do not hold this against them as they were SLAMMED, and mistakes happen. The food was still great and the customer service was very good. Everyone with me enjoyed their meals and had no issues. The cafe issued me a refund AND gave me free muffins for the toddler accompanying us, so I'm still pleased with my experience and will definitely come back. Thanks y'all! read more

In the most adverse conditions with Covid protocols, supply chain issues, and a climate where many don't want to work in the food service industry, they are a nice group that works together like a family. The Food- When you walk up, you think you are heading to a run of the mill quick service food counter. That is until you take the time to read and taste the menu. The Farmhouse is run by a Real Chef, and the food shows that! Just reading through the menu descriptions you can start to get the idea that he creates flavor profiles for each of his dishes. Even the simplest sandwich has ingredients chosen to blend perfectly and create a true foodie experience when you take your first bite. Bonus points- There are often themes or special nights highlighted in the menu and supported with entertainment or community activities like bands, musicians, corn hole, and trivia. I wanted something they didn't have all the ingredients for , I'm so glad that the chef was honest and told me he was out of some of the items . So I ordered a salad, yeah green salad what could possibly go wrong ?..the dressing was so vinegary I m glad I only put a little bit of it on the salad it didn't compliment the salad at all.
