Okay--if I could give this place a 3.5 I would just because the food was delicious...but unfortunately everything else was extremely disappointing! There were only 2 servers on a Saturday night and let's just say one of them was extremely slow while the other was picking up the other servers slack. And the most disappointing part of it all besides the extremely slow and unorganized service were the bathrooms!! They were disgusting. Let's just say someone had a blowout. Overall, the ambiance of the place was okay with delicious food but the service and bathrooms killed the experience.

Swing Thai was my group's restaurant stop before going to a show at The Oriental which is right around the block. This worked out so well! We went on the eve of Christmas Eve and it was pretty calm at Swing Thai. We got a table right away, but it did take awhile before our server came around. It was also so incredibly hot in the back corner too. I ordered the Pad Thai with Shrimp and I was shocked by how quickly it came out from the kitchen. It was really good, but I think I would've gotten medium instead of mild since it was so mild. I really liked the Pad Thai though. It was such an easy stop for us. I can absolutely see myself going back and trying some new things, especially when seeing shows at The Oriental since it was quick, easy, and close.

This particular location I'm featuring today opened in 2016. Which is their third location. Since then many have tried to duplicate them. It's a local family affair. At Swing Thai got its name from Thailand's 98-foot swing. The swing represents the importance of collaboration powered by people. I love all the dishes we've tried. From their appetizer crab meat and cheese fried wonton & Chicken Satay. Standard appetizer but it's tasty. What else can you ask for? The Papaya Salad for me has to have a requisite heat to it. And that mouth-puckering taste to it. Yup. Check! The Chicken Tom Kha and Shrimp Tom Yum are all outstanding! And loaded! Now their Chicken Khao Soy is so rich and flavorful. Their bbq Thai herb chicken was so wonderfully embedded with seasoning. Or drop in for a cocktail or two! Their Mango Mojito and Thai Martini are wonderful! This side of town is your hangout? Give these guys a try! Support a really good restaurant owned by a local! First time I met this husband & wife team Jay & Siriporn was in 2020 in their other restaurant heybangkok which opened in 1998. It is a concept restaurant of which is dedicated to Thai street food. Of which I'm also a fan. Their second restaurant is located on Colorado Blvd which opened in 2000. Also called Swing Thai. Just so you know- this is a total casual date spot:)

Swing Thai was a second option on a busy Saturday night. Dinner was good but not to expectations. Place an order for anything but be sure to ask for chili on the side. This is a name your own spice level establishment. I had the Tofu Pad Thai and the tofu part was good but the noodles slightly over cooked. We shared the dumplings and cheese wontons where the dipping sauce was more on the watery side. The atmosphere was nice albeit loud (we were sat in the back, closest to the kitchen) and the service ....not courteous nor quick. Our friend made a compliment to say the Panag Curry was good and the waitress response? "It is?" Lol

Warm atmosphere and a wonderful staff , this restaurant has it all. Food was delectable & I'm excited to come back

Don't skip this visit, Swing Thai is a classic and absolutely DELICIOUS! I tend to order to-go from this location since I live so close by, but it always seems to be pretty crowded inside with dine-in customers. The food is extremely flavorful, and they add great spice to whatever you order which is really appreciated. If I order medium spice, I'm looking for medium spice (not just light spice)! I have only ordered to-go recently, and the food is really fast and tends to be ready in 15-20 minutes. Staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is classic for Swing Thai. I only wish they had a red curry on their menu rather than just panang curry, panang is too sweet for my taste. Definitely going back regularly, its the best!

This is jasmine tea , Massaman Curry and Fried Pork Dumpling ! I love coming here! The energy is amazing and the staff is so nice!

I came in with no reservation on a Thursday night and I believe we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, but it was so worth it. It's decorated very well, with an authentic clean and fancy feeling, even though it's hard to really get fancy in Denver Although they were so many things on the menu, I wanted to try, I love a good khao soy so I had to give that a shot first. It was so good and the portions are so generous. I also started with the iceberg lettuce appetizer, which was yummy like a salad and we had the mango sticky rice to finish it all off. The mango was perfectly ripe and sweet and in season, this is one of my favorite desserts, and I was so lucky to get it at this time of year

We were the only people in the restaurant, yet our server repeatedly forgot basic things like drinks, chopsticks, and hot peppers. We had to remind her multiple times throughout the meal. To top it off, there was a 5% "kitchen appreciation fee" added to the bill. Sorry, but paying your employees should not be the customer's responsibility through surprise fees. It's a shame because the food was genuinely very good. But great food can only carry a place so far when the service is this poor. Another one bites the dust.

Not just a little, it added an almost acrid flavor. The chicken was cooked fine. We ordered the cha siu and tom yum Noodles. The cha siu was fine, but, definitely overcooked, the lack of sauce just made it just a cooked piece of pork, rather than what is truly "cha siu" I truly had a gripe with the $24 tom yum noodles. Immediately as I arrived I knew what this was - this is mama noodles, $0.25 cent mama noodles packets but made with spaghetti - and completely salty and inedible at that. Truly, the profit margin on this dish must be astronomical. // I just checked, they were going to charge me $28 dollars - I asked to sub out shrimp since I was allergic, and TWO pieces of tofu was an additional $24+4 - insane? We had the eggplant as a replacement, it was fine. My server attempted to explain away the tom yum noodles as being too "green onion forward" - lady, I literally make mama noodles at home everyday. Don't sell me a fake story. It's an okay restaurant, slightly higher prices due to its renown. But it's clear the owners are not Chinese, Thai or Korean. At this point in my life, I don't like leaving a bad review, but mid food layered with mild deceit leaves a bad taste.
