I love this place - it's extremely consistent and the perfect winter meal. Thrilled that it exists on my street because I think we've gotten it every Saturday for the past two months and our frequency is only going to go up as it gets colder. Pad see ew, paneng curry, crab wontons, spring rolls and chicken satay are our regulars with a mild + spice level.

Close to authentic Thai. Not like a regular thai place in the US. Their Medium is comparable to hot at most thai places in US, similarly hot is surely beyond thai hot. Street parking Would recommend- Basil fried rice Pineapple Freid rice drunken noodles Pad see Eew green curry Pad thai thai tea Garlic Chicken Egg Rolls Wouldn't recommend chicken satay pork dumpling Crab wontons

BEST THAI FOOD IN DENVER (that I've found). Every time we are even remotely close to Sloan's lake, we make a stop at US Thai. All of their entrees are so good. Our go to's are the pad Thai, drunken noodles, Thai fried rice, basil fried rice, panaang curry, and green curry. We tried the app combo and it was just ok. The spring roll was mostly lettuce. Can't recommend this place enough! Get your food to go and enjoy it with a drink from Joyride for a perfect date!

US Thai knows their spice! The pad thai was generally great, but I had to deduct a star because although the spice level (I got Medium) was great, there wasn't much other flavor. I expect at a Medium that the dish is balanced with the other sweet/salty/sour flavors. Other than that, the proportion of noodle+meat+veggies was good and the chicken and noodles were cooked right. We had our order to-go and I had a longer journey home and it was still delectable when I finally got to it. I will definitely still be back to try their other dishes.

This is a great and affordable Thai restaurant. We enjoyed everything we ordered. There was only one server working, so service may be slow at times. The dining room was cold and drafty, so keep that in mind when dining in.

I ordered green curry with chicken and pad see ew with tofu to go and was impressed with US Thai Cafe! The prices were reasonable, and while the portions weren't huge for the price, I still feel like the food was a good value. I'm generally tough on Thai food, but I really loved the flavor of both dishes. I usually go with a spice level around a 3 or 4 out of 5, but based on other reviews, I went with mild+ here. And I'm glad I did, because even mild+ had quite a kick!

    Tom yum soup. So good.

A small little restaurant but super busy for dine in and take out! A friend recommended this restaurant and I'll definitely be back. For starters, the prices of the dishes are so affordable for 2024. I don't have to spend $20 a dish like other Thai restaurants. The plates are decent sized but a little on the smaller size but definitely worth it for $11.25. We got pad see ew and pad Thai. The noodles were cooked to the right consistency. The pad Thai wasn't overly sweet. If you like soup and sour tasting flavors, the Tom yum soup was so perfect. We sat in the back room where it was pretty toasty and stuffy. So if you have any nice places to be later, make sure you have a different pair of clothes or jacket because you're going to smell like noodles.

5/5: we really enjoyed our meal at US Thai Cafe! There are two seating areas with a central kitchen splitting them. Our waitress was friendly and prompt although she was busy. The pad see ew with beef was very good and portion size was perfect. Penang curry with also a delicious dish with quite a kick (we got the mild + spice level). Definitely recommend!

Great food in a humble setting. Can be hard to get a table, as well as parking. No liquor license, but I've seen people bring in alcohol.

Authentic Thai experience, the drunken noodles (kee mau) is true and spicy, order mild or mild+ if you don't like spice. Yum

Ask the Community - US Thai Cafe

Did they change up management earlier this year or something? Arguably still the best Thai food in Denver but portions got smaller and seemingly they've toned it down spice wise...

Are they open for dine in yet?

No... But you can take your food to joyride or there are picknic tables on the street

Is US Thai Cafe byob friendly since they do not sell alcohol?

No. There is no byob in Colorado at this time.

The location is on the nice, quiet neighborhood of the Highlands on 32nd Street aside a good amount of other businesses. Street parking is easy on 32nd and the perpendicular residential streets. The food is decent. Keep in mind that they don't use the true Thai spice levels here. It goes from 1 to 7. I ordered a 5 which anywhere else would be very spicy but I barely tasted any spice. The Pad Kee Mao was made very well and I thought it was one of the better ones I've had in Denver. The pad Thai was very bland. Spring rolls were very bland with almost no meat inside. The papaya salad was decent but it mostly just papaya and not much of the other ingredients. The service was good. She was very attentive and nice. No complaints there. If you are in the neighborhood and want Thai food but don't like spice then Ubon is a decent choice.

We started with the Fried Spring Rolls as an appetizer which were nice but nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered the Pad See Ewe with tofu medium spice level. The spice level was perfect for what I was looking for and the portions were great but the dish itself I felt was a little bland and lacking a depth of flavor that I was hoping for. Overall the service was wonderful and the prices aren't bad for the portion sizes - I would come back to give some other dishes a try!

Highly recommend. The Satay was decent. A little on the dry side but definitely not bad. The Gyoza were great. A note on service, they are not the fastest. When they say 25-30 minutes for a takeout order, expect closer to the 30 minute mark. I also was there on a Sunday evening so maybe they were short staffed but there was little touch on the service side. Not bad, just not very rushed which is fine if as long as you go in with that expectation. Long story short, this place has amazing food and you should eat here.

We made a reservation for 6:45 on Sunday, hoping to enjoy a family dinner, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When we arrived, several tables were still covered with dishes and glassware. Throughout our entire visit, the only employees we saw were one young woman and a man bringing takeout orders to the front. The young woman appeared to be handling nearly everything--seating guests, waiting tables, making drinks, and working behind the bar. We genuinely felt bad for her because she clearly needed help. Our drink order was incomplete, our water was never refilled, and it took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Although the dining room wasn't very busy, there was a steady stream of takeout and delivery pickups. At one point, a delivery driver returned because the order he had picked up was incorrect, so it had to be remade. I'm sure that was frustrating for him as well. The other employee seemed focused entirely on bringing takeout orders to the front and repeatedly walked past tables covered with dirty dishes without helping clear them. We ordered the crab rangoons, yellow curry, Thai basil fried rice with chicken, and two orders of pad Thai. The crab rangoons were the highlight of the meal, and the yellow curry was also very good. Unfortunately, the fried rice had almost no flavor, and the pad Thai noodles were mushy and lacked flavor as well. Our bill was also incorrect. By the time we left, it was nearly 8:00 p.m., and the same tables that had been covered with dirty dishes when we arrived were still uncleared. I never enjoy writing a review like this, and I genuinely hope the experience improves. The employee serving us was clearly doing the work of several people and needed more support. Between the long wait, limited service, disappointing food, and billing error, the experience put a damper on our family's evening. We probably won't return, and we're still searching for a great Thai restaurant.
