Food was delicious and at a great price! I had the L5 garlic chicken lunch special and it was very flavorful. Staff was friendly and seems to be a local spot with a lot of regulars. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Really good Thai restaurant that has a great lunch special too. I've been here a few times in the past month and it's always been good. Location is nice too as it's fairly quiet around the area yet nice inside the establishment.

Nice big restaurant with lots to choose from on the menu. The crispy noodles weren't my favorite, it looked like a block of rice crispy treats. The kapow is bomb though - I would come back for that. Good service, the place is clean and lots of parking in the lot.

Delicious Thai food! I love their curry. Service is good and quick. I can't speak for the ambiance because I've only gotten takeout here. Recommend!

Came here for lunch during the week and there was no wait. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor of an office building. Depending on how the GPS routes you, you may not see it right away. We ordered the Fried Calamari for appetizer. It was very crispy and came with spicy sauce for dipping. For our meals, we ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, crispy tangy chicken, and the lunch special Kapow Gai which came with two veggie rolls. Everything taste delicious. Seems like the crispy chicken and calamari were fried with the same type of batter.

Tried this place at the recommendation of a friend. We ordered shrimp dumplings (fantastically paired with dipping sauce with a little kick), Panama curry chicken (solid!), and pineapple fried rice (good). The only bad thing was that this place wasn't packed on a Friday evening. Maybe they have tons of delivery/takeout orders. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend. No dumping pic, they went too fast.

This business is consistently a 5 star experience. From the food to the customer service this businesses exceeds expectations time after time. I have been frequenting Farmsook regularly because I got my coworkers hooked on their $12 lunch meal which includes an entree and 2 spring rolls. The food is made so quickly and is always piping hot when I pickup and bring the meals back to work. Additionally Farmsook's hospitality is beyond compare. Once I was picking up 8 meals for my coworkers and they emptied a box for me to use to carry all the meals out to my car. They are so attentive to their customers and it has made me a regular customer. Their flavors are phenomenal and they have so many vegan options! All their meals except for their curries can be veganized. Their website even had a "make it vegan" button when ordering online. Additionally I have left notes about making sure my meal is vegan and they always read it and I have never been given a nonvegan meal. My most frequently purchased meal from them right now is the Pad Ka Pow Gai Sub with tofu. It is spicy, has bell peppers and green beans, and the Thai basil is perfection. I love how vibrant the flavors are and the portion size keeps me feel for my whole work day. Thanks Farmsook for being a great local business to support and cannot wait for my next meal.

Pad Thai and vegetable rolls. Thai coffee was delicious.

Delicious food with generous portions. Service is excellent our waiter was prompt and responsive. We had our 3 year old granddaughter with us and the waiter was very kind and gave her animal crackers at the end of the meal. He also provided her with a pink fork and pink plate to put her lunch on and she loved the special attention. Our drinks were delicious and everything was presented beautifully. We will return. This is an outstanding restaurant located in King Farm.

The place is a quiet restaurant tucked away in the corner of a strip mall and the service from beginning to end was very kind. The menu was borderline overwhelming because there were so many choices. You almost have to go in with a game plan. They have street food style cuisine, large plates, and a ton of options. The good news is that out of everything I tried, they were all delicious, so I don't know that there's a bad game plan to be made here. Everything was very well-balanced and had great depth of flavors. This is also the type of restaurant where when they say spicy, it means spicy, so just be forewarned. Awesome spot and would totally recommend if you're in the area.

The Laotian papaya salad was SO good and tasted very authentic. We got level 2 spice, and it was definitely spicy, but in a really good way. I hope they keep the spice levels that way because it really keeps things authentic. The only thing I was missing was the little fermented baby crabs! We also ordered the basil chili crisp pork belly dish and the Pad Thai Supreme, and both were excellent. Portions were big enough that we had leftovers. Such a cute, clean restaurant with friendly service. I'm already addicted to the papaya salad and will definitely be coming back!

Can't believe they've been operating for 6 years and this is the first time I've heard about it. We each got a sandwich - one turkey Reuben ($9.75) and one special - the bulgogi sub ($12.95). Both were prepared fresh for us. Prep was quick. The rye bread on the Reuben was nicely toasted. The sandwich was ample size and the Cole slaw in the sandwich was delish. The bulgogi sub sandwich was also very good. The menu offers a variety of sandwiches, wraps, paninis and salads. Because of our good experience today, I'm sure we'll be back to try some other things, like the spicy chicken wrap and maybe even a hot pastrami or corned beef. There's no fries or other sides for sale, but there's a variety of chips and snacks available. Coolers with sodas, bottled water and other drinks also available. Second, the selection is huge. They pretty much have almost everything you expect in an AYCE place. Chinese hot food, Japanese sashimi, Korean BBQ, vegan salad, drinks, ice cream. They even have snow crab and lobster claws the day we were there. They also had "buddha jumping over the wall" soup - if you know what it is. One thing is that my empty plates were piling up before they were taken away, but I guess it was Saturday and they were busy. Overall the food selection was amazing. I only wish their desserts are better... I thought the little roll/balls in the frig was mochi... but no... it was something with unpleasant texture - they tasted like silicon... Other than that, I think this place is the best Asian AYCE I have tried in the US. If we are ever in Maryland and in the area we will definitely come back.

It has just the right amount of noodles and tender beef, and it's even topped with crispy fried pork skins that add the perfect crunch. We were greeted and seated relatively quickly and looked over the menu at our table. We asked the waitress if they had fish cakes, since we saw pictures of them on Yelp from this place. She didn't say anything, just pointed at something completely different on the menu. My wife repeated "fish cakes," and she pointed at the chive cakes. It looks like they used to serve them and took them off. That's a simple question with a simple answer, but instead of just saying that, she pointed at a menu twice and made it feel like we were bothering her. We started with the larb chicken and it was good. Limey, strong fish sauce, a little spicy, good contrasting textures. All good things. It's also the only thing I took a picture of, since by that point the experience had started to sour. For entrees, my wife got the boat noodles and I got the krapow. I asked the server to confirm the chicken was ground and she said yes. It came out sliced. Turns out the ground chicken version is on the menu as Chop-Chop Basil, but I was unfamiliar with the menu. It was an easy thing for her to correct but she didn't. I didn't make a thing of it, but it was annoying. I only had a bite of the boat noodles, but it was good. Nice balance of savory with a touch of sweetness. The meatballs were soft and bouncy, the meat was tender, good textures all around. The krapow was very good, mix-up aside. I asked for Thai spicy and they delivered. Excellent flavor, very tender meat, not too sweet. Probably one of the better krapows I've had out here. The part that really soured it was overhearing the manager with another table. An elderly couple and a friend had asked for their vegetables cooked well done since they can't chew firm food. They sent it back saying it was still too firm. The manager came out and basically yelled at them, saying they'd already cooked it longer than usual and couldn't cook it any more, and that next time he'd just put it in a blender. The couple had been nothing but kind about the whole thing. The kitchen did end up cooking it longer, but he never came back out to check if it was actually satisfactory. Maybe that isn't required, but the whole thing read like he was annoyed with them. The food here is excellent, easily five stars on its own. I'm docking a star for service. It was rude how they spoke to the elderly customers, rude to point silently at a menu instead of just saying the fish cakes are gone, and frustrating to be told the meat was ground when it wasn't. I'm not sure I can go back and dine in because it felt like we were a nuisance the whole time. I'll probably do carry out from now on. The inside is small and quaint and it looks like it gets busy around dinner, so come early if you want a table.

I noticed that some of the tables have been changed from square to rectangular, making the dining room feel more open and spacious. Each table is now decorated with a small lamp, and artwork adorns the walls--simple updates that add warmth and enliven the ambiance. Another noticeable change is the packaging for the entrée I ordered. It has been updated from a square container to a rice bowl, which I much prefer. The previous packaging reminded me of a school cafeteria, while the new presentation feels more appealing. During my last visit, they also offered lunch specials, which no longer appear to be available. That was a bit disappointing, although it may have been a promotion when they first opened. Their menu is somewhat atypical for a local Thai restaurant, with offerings such as tacos, burgers, and sandwiches. I was in the mood for my usual favorites--Pad Thai and Pad See Ew--but neither is on the menu. I ordered a Thai iced tea and the Kao Mun Gai Tod. The iced tea was good, but I would have preferred a bolder tea flavor. It seemed a bit diluted, possibly from too much ice. The chicken, however, was crispy and flavorful, and the rice was cooked perfectly--tender rather than dry or chewy. Our server was attentive throughout the meal. She checked on us regularly and promptly cleared our table, providing excellent service.
