I really love the amount of food Ming's gives for the price. I ordered the large cumin fish and the fish fillet with sour cabbage soup. The cumin fish is still so delicious. The batter is crispy, and the fish is very tasty. I love all the flavors this appetizer has. The sour cabbage and fish soup was a huge portion! I love fish, and it came with 2 containers of fish, soup, noodles, and a side of rice. The fish is delicious, but the soup is too salty for me. If the soup can be more sour and less salty, I think it'd be perfect! read more

My family gets "take out" from Ming's about once a month! The amazing thing is that not only is the food fresh and delicious but it is so plentiful that we get, at least, two meals out of each entree. My very favorite is the sweet and spicy jumbo shrimp. The added factor for me is that it is gluten free which is important for my health. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant. Food is cooked and ready in a timely manner and, if you live nearby, they will deliver at no extra charge. read more

Menu -Weekday (11am-3pm) lunch specials include: mini spring roll, choice of egg drop or hot & sour soup, and 1 of 12 entrees. -They sell milk & fruit tea and toppings. Food -I ordered the lunch special sesame chicken and selected the egg drop soup. I also ordered a medium taro milk tea with boba. I appreciated that the food came out piping hot. It was actually so hot that I had to blow on the food, was sweating, and had to take my sweater off. It was my first time (to my recollection) having egg drop soup and I loved it. Spring roll was crispy. The sesame chicken and rice were moist. The sauce for the chicken was different, but still good. Taro tea was good and the boba had the perfect chewiness. The portion for lunch was generous especially for the price. Can't beat it. I only managed to finish half my chicken entree after eating my soup and spring roll. Service Good and friendly service. The owner's wife runs the counter and takes orders by phone and in-person. She brought my food out and when she noticed I didn't have the crispy noodle with my soup, she went to get it. I appreciated her attention to details. Helpful Info -Delivery within 2 miles with $20 minimum. -Closed on Tuesdays. Was really glad to see a new Chinese place back in King Farm! Went in on a whim with a hungry tummy and wasn't disappointed! Staff was helpful in answering my questions as I'm trying to limit my grain intake. I ordered Chicken and Broccoli, which is such an easy American-Chinese meal to mess up. They made it perfectly - the meat nice and tender, the broccoli with a touch of crunch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the ginger added to the sauce! It was great! Interior is just big enough to come in from the rain and chill while your order is being made to go - I honestly waited outside since the weather was so nice. Ming's Chinese Restaurant, though newly opened with a clean and inviting atmosphere, left me very disappointed. The friendly staff created a welcoming ambiance, setting the stage for what could have been a delightful experience. However, prices here are on the higher side for Chinese cuisine, and the food, unfortunately, did not justify the cost. I ordered General Tso's chicken and beef with onions lunch combos. Both dishes were bland and average at best. A glaring issue was the lunch combo's egg roll, which was packed with the rice in the same container. This made the crispy outer skin soggy and full of rice that's impossible to get off. Interior texture was also bland and the whole thing tasted like a cheap prepackaged eggroll bought at the grocery store. Additionally, the soups were notably lacking in ingredients, leaving them quite underwhelming. Hopefully these issues can be fixed in the long run so we can have a good chinese restaurant option in King Farm. read more

"Poor Customer Service - Very Disappointing Experience" I placed a lunch order and presented a coupon for 10% off upon arrival. Instead of honoring the discount, the staff argued with me in a rude and unprofessional manner. Both the front counter employee and another staff member who came from the back raised their voices, which was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. As a loyal customer, I was very disappointed by the way I was treated. I decided to leave the food and not complete my purchase. I love Americanized Chinese food. I can't find the perfect Chinese restaurant in this area. I've ordered from here for carry out and been disappointed. I love Peking Duck I saw that they had it on the menu. However after 3x. I'm our. Peking Duck should never ever been brown. Good restaurants usually have it dark orange crispy skin. Tender meat. Here they sawed off the leg quarter and threw in the white meat. What rubbed me the wrong way, was they threw in like backbone carcass in a plastic bag. The bones with the meat looked freezer burned , which tells me, their duck isn't fresh. Avoid ordering this through UberEats. You'll be disappointed. I've ordered soup and they didn't add the crunchy noodle stuff. They are forgetful. No I don't want credits for future orders. General Tso, I was disappointed, again . We ordered carry out and they were very efficient, and close to or before the time promised. The hot and sour soup and the wonton soup were very bland and I would not recommend. I have been to this place a few times since it opened since it's very convenient for me. At first, I liked their food. Unfortunately, the more time passes, the less I like their food. It started a few months ago when I noticed that I didn't like any of the soups that I bought from them. Now, I haven't liked the main dish (including the rice), and even the fortune cookies have tasted a bit stale. I'm sorry to say that I won't be going there again because it's a waste of money for me since I'm not eating most of what I buy. I live in King Farm and was hoping for a good Chinese restaurant. Been there 2x to date. So far the vegetable fried rice is my favorite. Good flavors. Too much batter on the shrimp. Pretty good Chinese restaurant in the King Farm town center. Recommend all the items under the chef's special (Chongqing chicken, thousand page tofu, etc) if you want more of an authentic taste. For lunch specials, the Hunan beef and basil eggplant are pretty good. read more

Ordered 2 seaparate items off the menu, Hunan Chicken and Shredded Pork with Hot Peppers. Both separate dishes were Spicy warm and we loved them! also ordered Hot and Sour soup, excellent with a very good deal of peppery warmth! I wanted to like this place but I won't eat here again 1. Spring rolls had barely anything inside them. I can't believe anyone would sell that pathetic attempt at a spring roll. You can always tell the quality of Chinese food place by the thickness of their spring roll. 2. Egg drop soup was good but I didn't get any fried noodle chips with them. Disappointed 3. Dumplings were on the small side and they felt like the ones from Costco you get out of a frozen bag. Nothing felt cooked from scratch with this dish. No dumpling sauce was provided, just soy sauce which is different. 4. General Tsos chicken tasted more like a mix of general Tsos and orange chicken. General Tsos is more a red brownish color but this was orangish, almost like buffalo sauce. Small chicken pieces that were overcooked. Honestly a very strange dish. 5. Beef chow foon was average. I visited a few days ago but wouldn't recommend it or go back a second time. There's nothing special about the ambiance, as it's really small. The location was fine and parking was pretty easy since it was during the day. However, I did not enjoy the food. I ordered the beef and broccoli lunch special. The spring roll was awful and very small. The actual beef and broccoli did not taste like the authentic dishes I've gotten from traditional Chinese restaurants (and it shouldn't have carrots in it). The service was average, as the young lady that took my order was not overly friendly. There are much better, more authentic Chinese restaurants around. read more
