I had the clothes turned in Friday before five and received them Monday at five which was expected. However, I did not expect to pay 79$ at 7.61$ (add .50+ for tax = +8$) per item. The clothes were just business casual button-ups at that. The customer service was not 79$ appreciated as well. If you can, find somewhere cheaper and better! A couple of my shirts are in bad condition due to the over usage of their "fashion" dry cleaning methods. read more

I have used fashion cleaners for years. i don't mind waiting the extra time, because i know they do extra things, like take off button, so they dont get smashed when pressing.. I tried using a couple of the other same day cleaners, but my whites started looking grey. i found out that is because the 'other " cleaners use the same solution over and over to cut cost. read more

I am only giving 1 star because zero is NOT an option. I dropped off 6 items on a Thursday and was told they would be ready the following Monday. I showed up Monday, only to find out they weren't ready because the staff had to take off buttons before they were dry cleaned and then sew them back on. This was very confusing to me. These were normal work clothes and didn't have any specialty buttons to be taken off. I showed up the following day to pick-up and made it home with 5 of 6 of my items. I made a third trip to the establishment only to find out after spending 15 minutes that the dress wasn't ready and the staff who presses was out for lunch. Not only did I pay almost $8 per item, but I paid extra for them to take buttons off. After 4 trips and $60 later, I have all my items. The staff wasn't helpful at all. I will never use Fashion Cleaners again. read more

The WORST! Even 1 star is too much for this place. You pay for a rush on your clothes and then you get there 10 minutes (!) before they're supposed to close and all doors are already locked. And that's for people who bring their stuff and need to go on business trips and/ or vacations - no thanks! Not worth a penny. read more

We took our comforter to fashion cleaners on April 12. We thought it of that we didn't get any type of ticket/ invoice or anything but since we're new to Midland we figured it might have been the way they did business since they did get my husband's name and telephone number. They said it'll be ready in 2 weeks and we'll call you when you can pick it up. That's a long time but we didn't need that comforter immediately because we have others. Well, on May 7th , we realized we hadn't gotten a call regarding it so I went to the location to get it. I got there and 3 different women all told me it's not here. 1 asked me was it a comforter. Or blanket as if I couldn't possibly know the difference. 1 said it's under another name and the girl that took it no longer works here as that should explain it. But yet, she said she couldn't find it. And then she came back and said it's just not here and looked at me like so what. So I just left after 40 minutes of non looking and said my husband will come back himself. So on May 8th they call and leave him a VM that is ready for pick up. No apology no nothing. Just left the message as if I was never there the day before. So , when I went to pick up the comforter, the same lady that said it's under someone else's make brought it out to me and it cost $48. We've never had to pay that much for it and clean it after every use. But on top of everything still no Apology or anything. Never ever going back there. I am very frustrated and upset with Fashion Cleaners on Wall Street. I took my wedding dress in to be preserved over 8 months ago and they did more harm than good. My mother suggested we take it there because they are supposed to be "the best" and provide "great customer service." I was told when I dropped it off it would be several months (but 8 is ridiculous). I called to check on it after about 3 months and they said it would still be another month or two. 3 months later, I decided to check on it when I was back in town. When I went in the wedding dress guy was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked to see my dress (it had been 6 months and I was getting a little worried that it had been lost or mixed up with someone elses dress) and the guy thought it would be funny to tease me and act like it was not there and maybe it was lost. This is not a funny joke for someone who is already frustrated. Finally, he took me to the side room and it was hanging there ready to be worked on. He said it would take about a week for them to clean it and then he would call my mom to preview it before they preserved it (because I live out of town). I almost picked it up then to take it somewhere else because I had an uncomfortable feeling and was treated like they did not care. Not only that, but it is typically harder to remove a stain, especially red wine, the longer it sits. I regret not listening to my instinct and picking it up then. Needless to say, they never called. 2 months later, when I came back to town, I went to check on it again. This time, they had pressed it, but did so without getting the stains out, thus setting the stains permanently. They had told me the red wine stain may not come out, and I was OK with that. But when I looked at the dress, there were several other stains and some black marks that I had never seen before. This really upset me since now it would be extremely hard to get anything out since they pressed it and I am almost positive that the black marks are from them. Also, they left a polite note on it that said "Sorry, but this is the best we can do." Not only that, but they also put safety pins through the satin and lace to attach the plastic bags they covered it with (now there are holes where the pins were). Obviously, I picked up the dress and got it away from there before it was ruined even more. I guess what frustrates me the most is that they were very unprofessional, dishonest and provided me with terrible customer service. Not sure what to do about the dress, when I returned to San Antonio, I searched the internet, looked at reviews, and called some bridal stores to get recommendations on where to get a dress cleaned and preserved. I took it to Five Star Cleaners on Huebner road and experienced great customer service. They were very open and honest with me about different options to preserve the dress (preserve the entire dress and take my chances on the yellowing on the stains or remove the lace, beads, and other pieces that I may want to use at a later date and just preserve those pieces). Marissa at Five Star Cleaners we not pushy at all and wanted me to make the decision that was best for me. I have still not decided which option to take (cutting up my wedding dress sounds scary, but then again, what else am I going to do with it), but I am certain that when I make a decision I will give my business to Five Star Cleaners. I would also highly recommend them to any bride for alterations, cleaning, preservation, or restoration. They are very knowledgeable with various dress types and materials and will be honest with you. read more

The only positive of this establishment for me is the proximity to downtown. A 6:00 pm closing time is earlier than competitors (and I have experienced instances where the doors are locked prior to 6:00 pm). The turn around time to pick up cleaning is 3-4 days; whereas competitors can provide next day pick up, if not same day pick up. Also, the pick up date appears to be a random date as on many occasions my order is not fully ready when I arrive. Today I was told several garments were not ready on an order dropped off on Monday. Furthermore, the staff were unable to provide a date to pick up the remaining garments. Poor customer service and poor quality work have trumped the location for me. All of my cleaning will be through a competitor from this point forward. read more
