I stopped in 2 years ago because it was the closest salon to my new job and I am SO thankful I did. I almost hate to post how amazing they are because I want to keep this gem to myself but people should know how outstanding the customer service is and how friendly they entire staff is. While I try to stick with the same technician, I have tried a couple of them and they all do a great job. My coworker recommended this place. She mentioned that they give you a nice massage & I was SOOOLD! Manicure was good. It included an arm, neck & shoulder massage & a warm towel wrap of the arms. I was super relaxed. Pedicure included exfoliation of feet & legs & then a massage. The only reason I knocked a star off was because she didn't yank out an ingrown & water was too hot in the beginning. Then when my feet/legs were wrapped in the towels, the towels were waaay too hot. She didn't say anything, she just started grabbing my hair and wanted to put it up in a clip. When I moved away from her she grabbed my shoulders and told me to sit back. I just had a facial from Yen. She is amazing. I have had a lot of facials in my life and I am hooked on her. All the products she uses are fantastic and some from France. After trying another nail salon in the area and being greatly disappointed I tried out Fashion Nails and I'm so glad that I did. The salon is set up nicely for socializing and they've installed nice finishes as well. The staff is very kind and very good at their work. They are friendly and reasonably chatty but they also let you relax. Aline does such a great job on gel manicures! My nails grow out pretty quickly but I'm actually able to go at least 2 weeks before going back in and my nails have started to re strengthen after previously going to places that didn't use the best practices. I've been going here for basic pedicures for several months now. In that time, I have noticed some consistent patterns with Fashion Nails: 1. A generally high level of cleanliness. 2. Staff never pushes "extras", nor hardsells. 3. Pleasant, low-key atmosphere 4. Spa stations maintained in good condition -- and *all* the buttons on the controls work ;). 5. "no-pain" (it should go without saying, but at other places that hasn't always been the case.) 6. Minimal or zero wait times for the walk-in customer (I never bother with appointments here). When I walk in, I am treated like a valued guest. Being pampered in the attractive salon makes me feel like a princess. TWO years later and I'm still a loyal customer of Fashion Nails. I come to Stacy every 2-3 weeks. She does both my manicures and pedicures and it's always perfect. She's careful and doesn't rush; I truly feel pampered everytime I come here. Only Stacy knows how picky I am with the French on my toes and she's the only one that can give me the perfect French pedicure. She also speaks perfect English. Diana and Khristine are great too. In the event that Stacy is unable to do my pedicure, I've gotten it done with other techs there before and I've never been unhappy with it. I can also understand everything they say in Vietnamese and I've never heard them talking crap on anyone. LOVE THIS PLACE! I used to frequent Nailtique in Irvine but since graduating from UCI I can't justify driving 20 minutes to and fro for a manicure... Even if it was always spectacular. I gave it a try one day after realizing I always walked by wondering what their service was like, and my nails were in desperate need of some acrylic gel to save the fragile little things (and to make a manicure last longer). Admittedly, I was hesitant to believe I could leave any other place as happy with my nails as Nailtique but since that first day, I've been hooked. Fashion Nails is definitely my second go-to. Stacy, Diana and Khristine have all done my nails and I have always been more than happy when they're done. They all get that I don't want my nails to look fake, and I'm always prepared with my own colors. They're fast and efficient, personable and know what they're doing - they look young, but they've been in the biz for about 10 years! But what I love the most? That you can pick up from where you left off during your last conversations, and you can build relationships with the women you trust your nails with! Came here for a manicure on my lunch break with two coworkers. I like how they have a lot of employees working in the middle of the day, so they are able to accommodate more customers. The girls here are also really sweet! They love talking to their customers which takes away the awkwardness:) My gel manicure came out great, and I LOVED the back massage they include with manicures, WOW! I didn't like my experience here at all. I was greeted and told it would be 10 minutes to wait and I was totally fine with that. Then this other lady came in 10 minutes later and she said she was a walk in and wanted to get her acrylics off which is exactly the service I needed. I figured they would attend me first since I got there first but they took her in right away. Maybe she was a regular so I brushed it off- I didn't mind. Then they called me up and they took off my nails and did a manicure which I had an understanding meant taking off the acrylics and buffering and putting nail polish on them. I even told her I wanted silver which I pointed to the bottle. The process of taking them off hurt. I understand when taking off acrylics there can be a little pain and the nails under are delicate and thin but it burned. I have gotten them off before twice- after prom and winter formal and it NEVER hurt as bad. When she took one off she ripped half of my nail off. Like blood came out. I ignored it cause I thought I was exaggerating but the other nails hurt to take off too. She buffered off the rest and told me that was it. I was gonna tell her I wanted color too but at that point my nails burned and I wanted to leave. Charged me $17. It was pretty pricey considering other places charge me 5 to take off and 3 to buffer/clean them up. I guess she tried since she gave me a hand massage? But other than that I am never going back. read more

Great experience! I got a mani / pedi with Nancy (mani) & Linda (pedi), and left with a huge smile! From the moment I entered the door (without an appointment mind you), I was greeted warmly and the wonderful service continued. Naturally, I had to wait (bc I didn't have an appointment) but was given the time estimate of 15min... which was exactly accurate! (kudos to the honest/upfront wait time). While waiting, I was offered a comfortable chair & ample time to choose my nail polish. Customer service is often on the back-burner these days, it's nice to find a location that still places value on quality customer care. Thank you! Once seated, I was attended to immediately and even though they were closing in one hour, the women working on me did not rush. They took their time & with the gel manicure I was given a 5-10min massage on my neck / shoulders. It's the little things like this that make a nail salon stand out in my book! I will definitely go here again! Thank you ladies, job well done. For those wondering prices, I got a gel manicure for $30 & a pedicure for $20 - but again both included massages. Foot/calf massage w/ warm towel wrap & hand/forearm massage w/ warm towel wrap, ending w/ a neck/shoulder massage. Not to mention the massage chair for the duration of the mani/pedi. Perfect, relaxing hour / 2 hours (depending on what you get done). Pamper yourselves! I know I'm happy I did! I'll pay a lil extra to be pampered & treated like a queen any day! read more
