My feet feel amazing and she is so kind and gentle. I have to say a few things I love about this salon in general: the atmosphere - calm and the technicians do not talk loudly to each other the entire time like at other salons, the ambiance is great, they are very welcoming. I've had my nails done by two different women here, and each time, the shape was terrible - I asked for square, but they came out round and uneven. Not to mention the price is ridiculously expensive. especially for a fill. I may look 16, but i'm very well not a child and i know for a fact this place ripped me off both times. Asked for acrylic because personally i like acrylic better, but they INSISTED I do gel x saying i'll save money, I don't care about the money, I tip well and i'm a person that likes my nails done every two weeks. Now i know it's because they're lazy sorry to say. And to my knowledge gel X doesn't take as long so therefore they'll insist you do Gel x no matter how early you go in or even call ahead to make an appointment. like come on dude. I will pay 120 bucks for quality nails not this ? I'm paying you to do your job. What's even worse is that my NAIL broke. OPENING PLASTIC. I'm honestly so aggravated. On top of that, gel polish started chipping the day after my nail broke off, ( mind you this is two days after i got these done) I work in retail. My job does not require heavy lifting or anything to break my nail, which has never happened to me before. I'm extremely careful with my nails, and I've never had gel break or a nail break so easily the next day. To make matters worse, my toenail polish also chipped within a day!. It's supposed to be gel - how is that even possible? Overall, I'm very disappointed and frustrated. I really wanted to love this place, but the quality just isn't there, only thing i actually like is the C curve tips they have here. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for durable, well-done nails. Unfortunately, my experience today was one of the worst I've had. I went in for a pedicure and initially asked the technician to apply nail stickers to my toes. She advised against it since I wasn't getting gel polish, which I understood and agreed with. Instead, I asked if she could paint my toenails a darker pink and simply add a small heart design. I believe there was a miscommunication because the technician told me to wait, but she never returned. My toenails were left with only clear polish, and I waited approximately 15-20 minutes before realizing no one was coming back. At that point, I had to leave. Before leaving, I calmly explained to the owner that I believed there had been a misunderstanding. I told her I had explained what I wanted to the technician, but there may have been a language barrier. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, I was asked why I didn't say something sooner, even though I had already explained the situation. I felt the responsibility was shifted onto me rather than the salon taking accountability for the miscommunication. The owner then asked me to come back later that day so they could finish my pedicure. I rearranged my schedule, picked up my son, and returned to the salon. Having to come back was already an inconvenience, but I wanted to give them the opportunity to make it right. This time, I again requested a darker pink polish with a simple heart and a few polka dots. After the service was completed, I was surprised to be charged an additional fee for the design. Considering I had to return because my original service was left unfinished due to the salon's mistake, I don't believe it was appropriate to charge me extra. What disappointed me most wasn't the design fee itself--it was how the situation was handled. There was no ownership of the mistake, I was made to feel responsible for the miscommunication, I had to return to have the service completed, and then I was charged extra for the correction. I've been a loyal customer for years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Good customer service isn't about never making mistakes it's about taking responsibility and making things right when they happen. Unfortunately, I don't feel that happened here, and because of this experience, I can no longer recommend this salon if this is how customer concerns are handled.
