I neglected to do that bc I figured it couldn't cost that much to basically get a tire rotation and have them spend 15-20 min checking fluid levels and stuff. Not complicated AT ALL. Attached is what's needed. I was charged like $200 and was floored. Esp now that I'm due for my next routine maintenance and other places are quoting me $35 for a rotation. Maybe these guys are fine for actual repairs and serious mechanic work, but I don't appreciate being taken advantage of, which is quite common in this industry against women, which is sad.

It was tough finding a place that will do it, but with great luck I stumbled upon Community Auto Garage. Gave them a call and they immediately responded and answered all the questions I had. They did an awesome job with the hitch installation. My boyfriend and I were able to enjoy riding our bikes out of town with their help! Fast forward to today, I had my car serviced for a faulty starter and bad alternator. I was quoted an insane amount at the dealership, but was quoted a much reasonable price here. And Dan V (i.e., "Dan the 5th") is a super friendly, honest, and straightforward guy, too. He doesn't BS you. I've been there on 4 separate occasions for various services on my Audi wagon and Dodge pickup, and had a great experience every time. And I always drive away feeling like I got a good deal on great service. I brought in my Dodge Dakota after a cracked head blew my engine, and Dan was able to diagnose, estimate, and find me a new (used) engine with low miles within 2 hours! After the engine was shipped here, he and his crew pulled my old engine, replaced every gasket on the replacement, had the replacement heads tested, and completed the whole job in under a week. And for exactly the price he said he would do it for. There's none of that BS about finding out you need to pay more for something or other here; the price he has quoted me is exactly what I was charged when he was done. And it's reasonable. My old truck runs like it's brand new now, all thanks to Dan. To me, his mission statement is encapsulated in what he told me when I asked him why he went through the trouble of replacing every single gasket on my replacement engine when he really didn't have to: "It's better for both of us. Seeing that I desperately needed a repair, they still squeezed me in for a quick assessment and repair. The whole situation was roughly half an hour from pulling off the wheel to cashing out. My tire runs fine and isn't bleeding out from the patch work. The cost was only $25, which is cheaper than what I've paid in the past at other locations. The only reason I'm removing a star is because they over-torqued my lug nut and my dealership couldn't do a tire rotation without snapping the stud. Make sure to confirm your torque specs before having service done here I guess.
