Within minutes of putting in a request I started to receive quotes. In the end, it was not the price that sold me on LV Mobile Oil Change and Brakes but what Steven wrote on his price quote, it was the type of oil he was going to use for my vehicle: European specific oil blend. After a couple more text over the app, I made an appointment for Sunday. I received an appointment confirmation and a service call the morning of the appointment (nice touch on the call). Steven arrived on time and after asking him a couple of maintenance questions about my vehicle and future service needs, he went to work on the oil change. Oil change took about 20 minutes (way faster than any dealership or oil change garage). I also had him install a new cabin filter (for a small addition fee). Overall, very happy with the service, Steven is very professional and does a quality job. Will definitely use their service again.

Though the work they did was fine, I was underwhelmed with the customer service and prices so I never returned. Well, this year my regular shop was too busy when I needed them so I called ACR to see if they could fit me in last minute. The customer service this time was outstanding. They got me in that day, worked with my schedule, communicated with me and didn't talk down to me like most mechanics do. They were understanding of my tight (not working right now) budget and worked with me to get the cost down. Now when I need something done I call ACR first. It is true that they aren't always going to be as fast as a big chain store or the dealership service shop. They are a small business. I'm not sure how many employees they have but its only a few. If 1-2 employees get sick (like they did this past week) it's going to have an impact. So....yes, the culture has changed and IMO it's for the better. The staff actually treat you like a person and not just a dollar sign. If all you care about is getting your car in and out asap with no human interaction, go get your car serviced at the dealership shop and pay 2-3x as much. This is where you go when you want a mechanic that treats your car like it's theirs and talks with you like you're a neighbor/brother/friend, not at you like just another customer.

The owner called me while appearing to be intoxicated, used profanity during our conversation, and repeatedly described himself as "a man of his word." We had a scheduled appointment, yet there was no phone call, no text, and no notice that anything had changed. I drove 40 minutes to the shop only to find it closed. Integrity is everything in business. Quotes should be honored or clearly communicated if they change. Appointments should be kept or customers should be notified. My experience did not reflect the level of professionalism or reliability I expect from a business, and I hope the owner chooses to make this right
