I've got an older 2005 BMW 330ci. The BMW dealer here in Las Vegas inspected it while it was being serviced for an airbag recall. They told me it had a broken bushing on the right front control arm & needed new rear brake pads. I knew about the control arm because I hit a curb driving it when I was really sick (I had already replaced all the wheels & tires.) and it was pulling hard to the right. But the dealer wanted 1900 bucks just to replace the bushing & the rear pads. I laughed at them. Next, I called 2 of the TOP European Auto shops here in Vegas. One would not give me a quote over the phone & the other one gave me a pretty fair price over the phone for brakes, rotors & new control arm. But, they couldn't service my car for another 2 to 3 weeks. WTH? So I placed a service quote thru Yelp. To be honest, I didn't think this would bear any fruit. The owner Kalvin called me back almost immediately. I ended up speaking with Brandon for a considerable amount of time. He was friendly & took his time with me. He also gave me several options with very reasonable servicing quotes. I have to admit I was extremely leary about hiring a "mobile mechanic" to service my BMW. But, their reviews were great & they seemed to be honest. A RARITY here in Vegas, the Land of Scammers & Grifters. LOL. Boy am I glad I hired them. They sent RICK. I don't even know where to begin with this remarkable young man. I asked him if he had ever worked on BMWs. Haha. What a dumb question. The dude has an encylopedic knowledge of cars & motorcycles. I worked as a TOP repairman in my field for 30 years & took lot of pride in my work. Rick impressed me with his "CAN DO" attitude. Rick also takes a lot of pride in his work. "I can't do that" is NOT in his vocabulary! He and I bonded immediately. I watched him work as he replaced both control arms on my Beemer. (a very tough installation, to say the least.) He also convinced me to replace all my rotors & brake pads. It wasn't hard. Rick knows his stuff. Then we took a test drive to make sure everything was up to snuff & that I was happy with the car. In closing Rick was friendly, funny, personable, & full of great stories. He's professional, meticulous, diligent, joyous & neat. I LOVE THIS GUY! He's one in a million. 16 July 2026 -This afternoon, my Ford F150 truck wouldnt start. I called Squeaky Brakes and they were very helpful in listening and explaining the issues. They recommended that I get a new battery first. My battery was almost 4 years old, so I went to autozone and replaced it. I thought it was my starter, but it was the battery. They were very honest and very helpful, which saved me additional expenses. I had made an appointment with them for tomorrow morning, but they helped resolve my problem on the phone, so I no longer needed them to come out. Hey gang, braddah Fred here, I normally review restaurants, however, Squeaky Brakes LV did an outstanding job on my vehicle that I had to do a full review. Service requested: I found Squeaky Brakes LV through Yelp. I reached out and called them. I initially spoke to Branden and we would text back-and-forth . He then had Kalvin the owner contact and we went from there. Due to my busy schedule at the time (late March). I had told Kalvin I may be available for a few days in the middle of April. I explained the issues I was having with my car and that Lexus of Sahara had done a complete inspection report of those issues, which I had sent him a copy of so he would have an idea what she was dealing with. I own a 2004 Lexus SC 430 and she needed quite a bit of work; front upper and lower control arms needed to be replaced, along with the power steering pump and lines, the rack and pinion was leaking, the transmission mount was broken and a possible gasket leak. Obviously this sounds terrible, right? Fortunately, for me, I have an extended warranty, which actually covers all those repairs that I mentioned. Speaking to Kalvin was easy, because he also owns a Lexus. He's straightforward and very easy-going. and he will tell you what you need and what can wait. He doesn't deal with fake and cheap parts either. He recommends OEM or OM parts. Especially when you're on a budget, he will work with you on that as well. Kalvin said he would call the warranty company and handle everything from there. I do have to say, the warranty company/service administrators did give us a bit of a hard time not so much what they said, but it was trying to get a hold of them which took several weeks. In fact, I had to contact my sales rep, who showed me the warranty policy in order for him to contact the service advisor and let them know that my mechanic is trying to get a hold of them. During this time, I set an appointment for Kalvin to come out to check and inspect my vehicle. Kalvin came out and inspected the vehicle, he told me all the problems he was able to find. And that he would make a report. And have that sent over to the warranty company once he's able to contact them. After I spoke to my sales rep. Kalvin was able to speak with the Service Administrators from the warranty company. Because of his patience and persistence, he was able to provide all the necessary documents and get the approval from the service advisors. We set an appointment for the repairs on May 11th, Kalvin sent the team of Service Techs (dressed in company uniforms) to work on the vehicle. He did say he would take all day, or 2. They were able to finish it in two days. Kalvin said there was an issue with the new rack and pinion leaking. He told me to monitor the power steering fluid levels for now. He will have a Service Tech come out the following week to inspect the leak. After about a week, the Service Tech came out and found that it was still leaking. Kalvin called me, and told me not to worry about it. He will replace the rack and pinion at no cost. Due to my work schedule, We scheduled them to come out June 3rd. A couple of Service Techs came out that day and replaced the rack and pinion. And just for good measure Calvin sent another Service Tech on June 5th to do a follow up inspection on all the repairs. I have to say, this is what I call Concierge Mobile Service! Personalized service for your car's repairs! Because of Kalvin's persistence and patience he was able to repair my vehicle when 3 other shops had turned me down. I would be taking the bus today, if it wasn't for Kalvin and his crew. So if you need any repairs done to your vehicle call Squeaky Brakes and ask for Kalvin! So with that I give Squeaky Brakes 5 out 5 Shaka signs!!! read more

Discovered these guys last night scrolling through brake repair places in Vegas on yelp. Was already pretty stressed out breaking the bank when it came to servicing our KIA Telluride.
