Unfortunately my experience wasn't as satisfying I purchased roast beef sandwich, tater tots, and a drink for $18.50. The roast beef was dry and the bun fell apart on me and I didn'tcare for the tater tot flavor. It took a few minutes for them to wait on me even though I was the only one in the store because they were carrying on a conversation about TV shows. The restaurant had quite a few tables in the back, but no options for lids for your drink to carry out. Restrooms are very clean which was nice. But unfortunately, not a win for me today. read more

Gnaw of the bone ribs and rib leather. Not a low and slow cook and while it had the flavor, i felt like one of the ghengis khans Mongolians eating a tough piece of horsehide out of necessity. Do better fast eddies...perhaps try cooking slow..not "Fast" eddies style. read more

I had take-out from Fast Eddies. The beef was piled high and very moist and nicely cooked but, to me and my wife, it was under-seasoned. I regret not asking for the roll and the beef to be packaged separately because, by the time the sandwich got to me, the roll was a soggy mess. Consider that as a testament to the moistness of the beef but it didn't make for pleasant eating. The fries were very good, thinly sliced with the skin on and mildly salted. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were made from instant potato flakes and the gravy tasted okay but was definitely not homemade. read more

Aweful, I ordered medium rare and what they gave me was well done. That's not the worst of it, the place is absolutely filthy, floors dirty, condiment counter dirty and littered with dead flies. Just a dirty place. I definitely would not recommend. read more

It's not exactly the traditional pit setup. But it's DAYMN good. The actual pit would've got em 5 stars. I get a hankering for pit beef about once a year. And there's nothing exactly like Maryland pit beef. It's a unique specialty. Large portions. Awesome sauces and sides. This place is always BUSY. Lotta happy and return customers. Visited with a family of 7 today. Azra, Jory, Garrett, and some other boy were working and had the place nice and clean, stocked and the food was very good ! Half way through our DC to Philly drive, my wife and I needed lunch. Just off of 95 is Fast Eddie's Pit Beef, a top rated BBQ joint in a strip mall. They bring real southern charm to their restaurant. From the moment you walk in and see the open kitchen roasting beef, the staff are engaging and friendly. They'll direct you to order their famous pit beef sandwich and ask how you want your beef down (same scale as a steak). The sandwich itself is big and is thicker cuts of beef compared to a BBQ sandwich. It is a bit dry so use one of the many sauces they have on the counter (my favorite was honey BBQ). Their sides are good especially the mac and cheese and coleslaw. It's not healthy food, but it's perfect road trip food! read more

I had the bbq pork and fries combo which cost me about $17. That was the WORST pulled pork I've ever had. It tasted like it just sat in a crock pot for 3 days with ketchup. Super mushy, lacked flavor, and the roll was stale. The fries are huge and too much, but I guess they were also $5 and should be shared. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I don't know. This place kind of missed the mark for me. I think the flies landing all over the counter with the horseradish and condiments and the overflowing trash can had something to do with it. Kind of grossed me out. Ordered a pit beef sandwich and fries and an order of burnt ends just to try them. The burnt ends were REALLY burnt. Not the juicy crispy kind you would get at a bbq place. They were tough and hard to chew. Then i noticed at the bottom were bits of burnt ham ends which were softer and better but still not something I would order again. The pit beef was cooked through, not rare like i ordered. A bit tough. Bread got soggy and fell apart. May have tasted better with the horseradish but considering it was only half covered with a lid and exposed to the flies i didnt take any. The fries were pretty good. They do a good job on hand cut fries. Malt vinegar is a available...but the flies again made me not interested. Overall it seemed like the kind of place that would not get a great health inspection. This was a super delicious find on our Geocaching trip to Elk Neck State Forest Arboretum. Being on a new diet, I ordered the turkey and my tastebuds were surprised by the tastiness. I travel 250 ish days a year for work coast to coast and I've been to and have had some of the highest rated and some of the worst in the country as well as some of the best bbq in my 10+ years of work travels so take what I say to heart or lump it. 1. My first mistake was ordering the pulled pork sandwich. After noticing it was pulled out of a microwave I was disappointed to say the least & it was pretty obvious in the taste & actually made me think it was possibly frozen ‍. The bread well it tasted like it was from a day old store . Went back up and ordered the pit sandwich hoping it would save the day and it was actually surprising too me on how well it tasted. I ordered it well done so keep that in mind because the guy before me had one that was rare and it looked horrid. But again the bread was terrible. Fresh buns would make this sandwich top notch A+. Poor service, they advertise "fresh cut fries", but they are frozen . Employees don't wear hair/beard covers. I got a pork BBQ sandwich and my fiancé got a burger. They pulled his burger out of what looked like a scrap bucket and put it on a cold run of the mill bun, the fries tasted reheated and half of them were burned from what we are assuming is from reheating via the fryer. Despite this, the sandwiches were okay, and might have even been good (and even hot) had we not stopped in so close to closing. However for two cold sandwiches, old reheated fries, and a side of slaw was 25 bucks... We over paid by a lot. If we are paying normal hour prices, we expect the food to go with it. We would like to try it again during the mid day, see the food is better, if we ever do, I will change this review accordingly. read more

The food tastes pretty good but I didn't like how they prepared their burgers. So according to the cashier, they pre cook their burgers ahead of time and then put them in the freezer. Once you order, they put the burger back on the grill. I tried to order mine well done but she said they are all cooked one way. For a small place that charges $11 for a simple burger combo you would think everything would be cooked fresh to order. I mean hell, even the fast food places don't precook burgers anymore.
