I reached out to Fast Glass looking for glass for a sliding door situation I have installed behind this pastry case display at my bakery. Dude, trust me when I say that Fast Glass lives up to its name! The owner Jaims took measurements of the display case and got the glass installed all in one day! He even went the extra mile and saw'd the sliding slits in the wooden frame I already had installed to make sure the glass will fit and slide nice n smooth in there. This kick ass guy really cares about what he does! It got kinda busy at the bakery I work at while Jaims was installing the glass he ordered for me yet he kept his cool while customers kept coming in and got the job done. He was even multi-tasking by answering his own client phone calls with style n grace. Bro is a professional multitasker. Also, he was the one that actually suggested that we should order tempered glass for my display case considering the sliding glass door might get slammed left n right. Jaims' really knowledgeable about his craft! He even added cute lil sliding door handles on the tempered glass. That small finishing touch went a long way for me! 2nd time I broke glass on my sliding window. Searched for the best and cheapest (from you yelpers) and I found this place. It was just really hard to find this place. It's hidden and you won't see it on street view on google maps. To find it, just drive into the parking lot of Casa Sanchez and look towards the right, it's behind the fence (you'll likely see their glass van). My sister and I unloaded the broken sliding window from our car and a very kind gentlemen was already there offering to lend us a hand. Like the name says it, they're fast (and cheap!) I paid $31 elsewhere for just the glass alone (had a buddy install it on our first glass). Fast Glass was much cheaper (even with install). You do have the option of just paying for the glass and installing it yourself. If you're handy, you can save even more by installing it yourself, but the deal from them was already good to even bother with installing it myself. They use quality glass, the one they replaced the broken one with was thicker and stronger (+1). Their service is solid. I would recommend anyone who needs glass services to come here. I don't know who they have answering the phones here but whoever it is needs to be fired immediately! The man who answered the phone was so incredibly rude it left me totally speechless. I called to ask if I could get a price quote over the phone, the man who answered told me he was too busy to help me and that I had to come into the store. As I tried to explain that I lived 30 miles from the business and couldn't just come right in he literally yelled at me saying he was too busy! I'm not exaggerating one bit. He screamed, "look I am too busy to help you right now!" I have never in my life experienced such a person when calling a business. I hung up and called somewhere else where I didn't get yelled at and where they were happy to give me a quote over the phone. read more

I was in need of a glass tabletop protector for my dining table so I searched online for a nearby glass company. I went to one other glass company before going to Fast Glass, but their prices were not reasonable. I called Fast Glass and was given a reasonable price so I headed out to their shop. While there, my sister and I enjoyed a delicious homemade brownie baked by Loren's wife. The service was great, and the glass tabletop I needed fits perfectly!! I don't usually leave reviews, but this company deserves it! I needed a custom glass table top (40 x 80) for my wood table, and was getting quotes from other local glass people on here, and Fast Glass has the best prices. I called the number, told him what I needed ($140), asked how much was delivery to the west side of Long Beach ($60), and a couple hours later it was delivered. I didn't have to leave my house to leave a deposit or anything. He even takes card, but if you pay cash, he'll cover the taxes. Stay away from this place! I had high hopes for this place because of all the good reviews but my experience was much much different. My boyfriend and I stopped by to see about getting some glass for his car and the men there treated us horribly!! The older man acted like he didn't want to help us and when he finally got around to helping us he acted like we were bothering him by asking questions about the price. James helped my boyfriend and I out - we had a single window that was broken. The window doesn't open and was previously put in with a latex molding... Of course, James (who was very nice) new that once he was able to look at the window, but my boyfriend and I didn't. It costs us less than what another company quoted us close to the Belmont Shores area. Very pleased with the time and quality of work. I had a broken window and needed to replace it the same day. I called and even though they weren't open on that day he said to bring it in and he would do it for us. We took the frame in and within 10 minutes the job was done and it was a great price!! He didn't try to over charge and was very accommodating. I manage an apt complex, and have come to them many times with a variety of issues, from windows coming apart to screens with awkward shapes, and they come through every time.
