I called Fast Glass at 10pm and I asked if he can come out in the morning and fix my living room window. He asked if I new the measurements for the window. I said no. He had me send him a text message with the picture of the broken window. He said okay and he'll be out in the morning. Prices are very reasonable. Lauren came and did a great job. These guys are AWESOME! I called the day after a holiday, and while their mobile service is 24 hours their shop was open as well. I called because my dog, ate 2 of my screens. Both screens were ill fitting before, and they were able to fix that for me by making my new screens a little bigger, and EVEN ON BOTH SIDES! I bought a new table on Sunday and I wanted a glass tabletop to compliment and protect the table's shiny surface. So, I pulled up yelp and search for "glass cutting" and Fast Glass was the first one on the list. After reading so many 5 stars review about service and pricing, I was like "Wow!" So I started looking around the house to see if there any "glass fixing" that needs to be done around the house. After getting my list, I decided to call them (it was 10:00 PM and I had no idea why I decided to pick up the phone and call them at that hour. I felt bad afterward because I didn't realize not everyone is a late sleeper like myself, and partially was excited about the glass). I was greeted promptly with a lovely voice (Laura I believe). She handed the phone to Lauren and I asked about my 3 projects. Unfortunately, they don't do vinyl glass and double pane glass door. Darn it :(. However, I was excited to hear that they do tabletops so I scheduled to meet Lauren on Monday. Again, I didn't realized that the shop is only open Tuesday-Saturday. So thank you so much Lauren for being so accommodating because I work Tuesday - Saturday as well! After about 30 minutes of waiting, talking, and watching Lauren in action. My 47 x 31 1/4" glass was done! and I couldn't wait to go home and try it on the table. As a matter of fact, it was so excited that I forgot to ask Lauren about polishing and finishing services for the edges. I'll be giving Fast Glass a call sometimes this week to schedule an appointment to polish the rough edges. After seeing and meeting with Lauren, I am a loyal customer! Excellent service, very fun to work with...and did I mention his wife makes delicious chocolate chip cookies? I hit up Fast glass because I dropped I vase in my house that is very important to me and it had a nice size chip on it. Lauren and his son Jaims, were awesome. They were great!! They have an emergency 24 hour line that the owner answers. I broke my window on a Sunday morning (around 8 am) and in less that 2 hours after the incident my window was repaired. Great service! I live at the Cooper Arms building in Downtown Long beach. The building is a very old historic building, and the windows are still from the 1920's, so they are prone to breaking. I called Fast Glass on Thursday to book an appointment for a window screen repair job. The guy who answered the phone asked if Saturday was ok. I said sure and asked him if 1pm was good. He said he did not know and he would call me Saturday morning to let me know if he could make 1pm happen. I thought that it was strange that he did not know what his schedule availability was but I went with it and agreed. Saturday rolls around and he calls me at 12:44pm to let me know that 1pm is ok. I told him something came up and we would have to reschedule during the week. I asked if Monday would work and he told me to call him back during the week and we would work it out. So, I call him today and because I assume he's not familiar with my voice, introduce myself as a guy who has been playing phone tag with him trying to book an appointment. He immediately says we have not been playing phone tag and accuses me of missing a 1pm appointment. A 1pm appointment we never agreed upon. I immediately corrected his skewed perspective after which he told me Thursday was the first day available. I assured him that I would make arrangements elsewhere. Confusing, awkward, rude. That was the most high maintenance appointment booking fail I've ever experienced. read more
