Incredible responsiveness! My tenant's lost their mailbox key, so I called Fast Locksmith for a quote. I called them at 5:30 and they answered right away. They asked for pictures which I was able to text to them and they got me a quote so quickly and answered all of my questions. I really appreciated the high level of response. Exceptional service on a frosty NOVA night! Here's my situation, I purchased a used car with only one key FOB. Had to obtain a spare and I won't even tell you how much the dealership wanted ($115 for the FOB and an additional $135 to program the thing). So, what's a Yelper to do? I leveraged the local project message capability within Yelp and asked 5 local locksmith to quote me in the hopes they would meet or beat the dealership pricing. Fast Locksmith not only was the most responsive, they (Ronnie) also was recommended by other locksmith as the local Alexandria professional for just this type of job. Easy to coordinate his technician, Tony, to make a house-call tonight. Their fee was $95 for programming and we elected to have him cut the emergency key on the spot for an additional $35. I'm marginal at math, but let's do some simple addition; $130 out the door for a fully functional FOB (with freshly key cut) is better than $245 the dealership wanted. Tony remained on site to answer my questions, ensured I tested both the FOB and key(s) to my satisfaction, and made quick work of an easy credit card payment.
