I'm absolutely amazed at the exceptional quality of our ~95 mile move from Napa to Placer County. The guys were some of the hardest workers I have ever encountered. Between Jonathan, Marty, Joey and myself, we loaded a 18 foot by 5 foot reclaimed wood table (roughly 1200 lbs) and a very awkward piece to move. On top of it, they loaded most of a 3 bedroom house & large garage packed with art (roughly 200 large canvas paintings),heavy equipment, and tools and brought everything into the house and garage on a 109 degree day. Exceptional enthusiasm, infectiously positive attitudes, and drive impressed me, and the personal touch was 1st class. Manny ensured the 300+ pound fire safe was placed in exactly the right spot so we wouldn't have to move it again. Jonathan & Marty came back a second day for the things we couldn't get on the first day... shelving from outbuildings, a CNC router, extra lumber, a couch, garden & pool equipment. It was 105 degrees that day & everything that needed to be in the barn was put there lycketiy split, with the few bulky house items placed where my wife said they needed to go. I was lucky enough to meet them for a meal and thank them for all their efforts on my way to my new home. We absolutely could not have made this move without their efforts. This was a huge move. Outstanding. Best local move ever. What a strong team and we had a great experience. Our team had John and James leading, with Gilbert, Ethan, Dan, Kyran, and Kam supporting. They were amazing to work with. Truly above and beyond what we have experienced with traditional movers and completely opposite of our experience in a prior move with a different company. Polite, knowledgeable, and very industrious. John and James are deeply experienced and especially skilled with a range of things that arise around a move that other movers are not even thinking about, like the fact that we needed a different electrical hook up for our dryer. They proactively observed this and let us know about it. And that is only one of a number of areas where they took the initiative and supported a great move experience for us. We used Crossing the Jordan for a move from a storage facility to a house up a challenging one-lane road in rural Sonoma. They were great! Jimmy was an excellent and experienced team leader who understood how to handle our good furniture and the best way to pack the truck. He was also an amazing driver, maneuvering around tight corners at the storage location, and going above and beyond to get the truck past several low-hanging branches on the steep road up to our new home. Another mover would have probably just said, "it can't be done," but Jimmy made the extra effort. Along with Jimmy, Shawn and Christian were quick, efficient, hard-working, and amazingly careful with all our boxes and furniture, as well as with the wood floor at our new house. They called to inform they would be a little late due to them having truck problems. Then they were right on time and even showed up with a truck that was much bigger then expected. They moved my entire house from Windsor to Santa Rosa in about 2 hours. They were quick and made sure not to break any of my belongings. I would definitely use them again and recommend them for all your moving needs. Great company and the cheapest in the area. My husband and I looked a lot trying to find the cheapest. And for 100/hour you get 2 movers to move your belongings and they come with the truck. Other companies made you go to uhaul and rent a truck separately. And then they would help for about the same an hour. Not including the truck tho. They are a great company and they kick ass. Thanks again guys. Using these people to move was not only the best price around but I felt like I was doing a service to the community by helping fund an organization that helps people getting back on their feet. The organization is for nonviolent offenders things like minor drug crimes etc. So it's nice to know that you're dealing with people that are bettering themselves in addition to just being really good movers. Our things were packed very well,Wrapped blanketed, and nothing broke the entire trip. It was a hot day and we had so much stuff to move with the guys never complained. They also treated each other very well which is weird for me to mention but sometimes when you're working with a company you see that the guys are not always nice to each other, but these guys seem to really get along and be in good spirits. We recently moved from one small town to a city about 25 minutes away. A short move but nonetheless moving is always hard and stressful. Crossing the Jordan was INCREDIBLE! Jimmie, Marty and Kevin went way above and beyond to make sure our move was flawless and as stress free as moving can be. I have not seen three men work as hard as these guys worked in a long time. Julie and Martin run a fantastic business. They are the best moving value you will find in the US. They have helped me and my family with three moves. They pack quickly and professionally. Our large furniture was wrapped and loaded very carefully in their truck. No damage or breakage of any of our items occurred. Moving is difficult but with Julie, Martin and their crew they make it manageable. When I was too overwhelmed to make decisions Martin would offer the best expert advice. From the first interaction with Michael to set up the move through to the loading and unloading by Jeremiah, James and Christian, the experience was great. They listened carefully to ensure they were clear on our needs and kept us informed at every step. The guys were polite and friendly, and even when the move went longer than anticipated, they maintained their positive attitudes. I can't say enough about how COMPLETELY AWESOME that Bishop and Lucas were as they moved my furniture and helped me to relocate into my new home. I had an excellent experience with this company. I first spoke to Julie, who set up all appointments and was a great communicator. I had a wonderful team of three hardworking packers/movers: Carlos, Jon, and Dylan - they spent a day packing and the second day loading, taking great care with all of my belongings, packing everything nice and tight on the trailer so that I wouldn't get charged an overage fee. They really know what they're doing, and my move is more complicated than most because I'm moving to Mexico and everything has to go thru customs, so there were a lot of rules and protocol they had to follow. The price was fair and very close to the estimate they originally gave me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others, and I'll be using them again soon to help my daughter move. read more

These wonderful men, Jimmy, Jeramiah, and Martin moved us from Windsor CA to Spokane WA. The move went off without a hitch. Extremely professional, fast and thorough movers. Moved my Mom from Santa Rosa to Rohnert Park and all 70 years of her belongings. She had many antique items including old furniture and irreplaceable items. Took extreme care packing everything up, and were fast as well. Of course if the items you are moving aren't as fragile/antique you could have them wrap less to save time. Overall extremely happy with their service and the attitude of the movers.
