Disappointed and Overcharged I used to love this car wash and was so happy to have it nearby. I used to travel far just to get a good hand wash for my car, and finding this place was like a dream come true. But recently, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Since the new ownership took over, I noticed that they had increased their prices from $20 to $40, but at the register, I was surprisingly charged $45. It seemed like they hoped I wouldn't notice the discrepancy. While waiting for my car, I observed another customer, who mentioned he had pushed eight cars through them today, with two more being serviced at the time in addition to mine. He was visibly upset about the poor quality of the wash. Rather than addressing his concerns, the staff argued that what he was complaining about wasn't included in the service. When my car was finished, I could see what he meant. The exterior was still dirty and wet in places. For $20, I wouldn't have cared much, but for $45, I expected more attention to detail. When I noticed the interior hadn't been wiped down as requested (just for dust, not a detailed cleaning), I asked about the extra $5 charge. The man in charge explained that I should have only been charged $40 and apologized, but no refund was offered. He then wiped down the interior himself, but the back seat still hadn't been vacuumed at all. The staff claimed it was due to blowing out dirt from the console, which clearly wasn't the case as I know exactly how my mats looked before I took it in. My car isn't particularly dirty, so this should have been a quick, 20-minute job involving just a power wash, vacuum, and wipe-down. I explained my disappointment to the man in charge, noting how I could understand the other customer's frustration given the number of cars he brought in. The other customer, who brought significant business, commented, "rich men aren't dumb," and I couldn't agree more. Doubling the price and hiring twice the staff doesn't justify such poor service. The wash wasn't busy, with plenty of staff and only two cars being serviced at the time. Unfortunately, with the way they are operating, I don't see this business lasting. Be warned. ... I'm writing this review while waiting for my car (so nothing in this review has to do with the quality of the wash. I dropped my car off at 10:10am (verified by Life 360) and there was a single car in front of mine ... then I went to have breakfast with my daughter. When we returned THIRTY-SEVEN minutes later they my car had not yet been washed and they were just starting to vacuum. When I asked the person (who I assume is the manager) if this is normal for it to take almost 40 minutes for a car wash to even get started I was told "we are a detail shop". I said, "well your sign out front says Coast hand car wash, and that didn't answer my question. Is it normal for it to take 37 mins for you to even start to wash a car?" He replied, "yes." I already thought that the $40 price tag for a basic wash was crazy, but then when I went to pay I was charged $48 ... they told me there is a $5 up charge for SUV and 4% charge to pay with a card! I wanted to treat myself to a nice car wash as I had been on a trip for a few days. The owner told me he would give me the works, and proceeded to tell me not to worry the car will be perfectly cleaned. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case and my experience went from bad to worse. When I got in the car, there was sand still on the seats, so I asked them to please clean them off. When I drove down the street I noticed that my windshield had a long scratch in it, right in my eye line of driving. I quickly U-turned and pointed it out. They took zero responsibility and said I must have done it when I drove out!! I was driving down the street for 1 minute before returning to the wash, there was definitely no opportunity for me to do that. They said they couldn't have done that, I pointed out all the equipment they use that is sharp and can scratch glass. They denied everything. Additionally, when I got home (a 7 minute drive), I really looked at the car. Here were some of the things they missed in their "premiere, deep clean": the cup holder was dirty, water stains on windows, dirt/smudges still on vinyl seats, cleaner used on molding ruined it (created stains), underside of car not cleaned, trunk not wiped down. I would highly recommend not going to this business. I gave it 2 tries and the lack of attention to detail and overall basic cleaning did not match the price. I got the best best wash this time. It cost $124. There were numerous parts of the interior that were not wiped down and many spots on the outside. The prices have went up 300% since past ownership but the quality of the wash has gone down. On a positive note the staff seemed friendly. read more

This place is expensive and has young teenagers doing all the work. The quality of service was poor - there was still bird droppings on the car, because they didn't wash it well, and they did a crappy job of drying the car, cleaning the wheels and put tire polish all over the mags! I paid a lot of money for a rather poor quality car wash. I will not come back here again!! I'd like a refund! There is no supervisor to oversee the quality of the work being done. I had a really disappointing experience at this carwash. I went in for a basic wash and an interior wipe down -- nothing fancy -- and it ended up taking over 2 hours. For $60, I expected at least a decent job, but the results were far from it. The interior still had visible dust and smudges, and the cup holders looked untouched. Honestly, I could have done a better job myself in 30 minutes. They were always so slow but at least they weren't charging $60 they were charging less than $30. I was a regular for the past four or five months, I typically get my car washed once a week. The key to the car wash is the dry. Almost every time I show up it's a different price within five dollars. 25, 30, 35. This is not a problem . But my last visit there were a bunch of kids working there, not even sure if they were over 16 . My car was done in 10 minutes, normally it took at least a half hour or longer. My car was not dry dripping everywhere . I had to spend 30 minutes at home drying it myself. I was loving this place until recently. I always do the inside myself so all they have to do is the outside. Now I'm scared to go back. If I wanted to be involved in the car wash, I would just do it myself. read more

Been coming here for 19 years and I guess they were recently sold a few months back. While some changes are good, regarding inside with accessories and such while you wait, it appears as though they've cut staff, so that the wait time is even longer. The price is also went up. That I understand but to cut labor and impact your quality of service is why I probably won't be back. I always try to give the benefit of the doubt, but I would warn people to be careful when using this car wash. It could be really good, but they cut corners, promise you things and then don't really deliver any quality. My advice to them would just be a little more honest and not 'upsell' like a second hand car garage. The clean was ok, and just ok at best, but again, they just rush things and no real attention to detail. I believe they are new owners, so maybe they're settling in, but again........give people an honest, good service and they'll return. I went in for a basic car wash, just wanting the exterior clean and the inside vacuumed and at least wiped down. The guy convinced me to get the $80 wash instead of the basic $45 wash, which he said would get me a deeper clean, the inside of my car "scrubbed" including the car mats. The tip is paid before even getting your keys back to check out the job done.. I paid a total of $105 and get into my car to see it's barely been cleaned. Arni took amazing care of my SUV. I had some scuffs on my car and he took one look and said he would take care of it himself. I got the full wash and it took about 1.5hours. Man, the wait was worth it. Him and another gentleman left no crevice unturned. My SUV looks brand new. I am so happy with their service and will definitely be back. My family has been going to this place for 10 years and it was great before! When I first went to this place after the new ownership they lost my keys to my car and I had to wait 30 mins for them to find my keys. They left them in ANOTHER person's vehicle. The car looked okay, not as thorough as usual. I decided today to give them another try maybe after they got their bearings. My car was filthy. When I arrived a gentleman came up to my car and pointed out sprinkler water spots which I knew happened this morning from my neighbors. This guy tried to upsell me to $150 for a full wax! I laughed in his face and told him to just give me the regular wash for $40. Which guess what? No more water spots! Don't fall for there tricks. The wash looked alright but I'm pretty sure I can do a better job with a garden hose and a used beach towel. It's unfortunate because I used to like this place. I paid 78.00 for a wash that was average at best. The guy vacuuming my car was wearing sandals with no socks. The place was a mess. Trash everywhere, equipment in the customer waiting area, and dirty rags all over. This place sucks. It was a slow cloudy day, and my car sat there for 30 minutes, with other people who came after me finishing before. When I asked how long it would be, he said 20 more minutes. I said, ok, I'll be back. Came back in 25 minutes and the guy goes "it's been sitting here a while." And it's not even that clean. There are still crumbs and streaks everywhere. When you pay, you get a tip option and then he hands you the cash to give them. I have been going to this car wash for years. It usually always took some time but was rightly priced and the people were nice. I went today and they racked up the price by a lot. It's now $40 for a regular wash when before it was under $30. There isn't anything special about it, just a lot more expensive. On top of me having to spend more I was reprimanded by an employee. I went to get my car after paying and a gentleman asked me if they gave me a receipt of payment. I said no. He then proceeded to tell me that I should have one. I was a little taken aback, I didn't realize it was my job to do the employees job of getting a receipt.
