I am very furious. IT HAS BEEN 36 days that I haven't received a call back regarding the incident that took place on July 21, 2024. I haven't been back since. My business and my family's business have been going elsewhere until this matter is taken care of. This IS a matter that CAN be quickly settled. My Mirror Cap from my side mirror got knocked off and got shattered to pieces. I filled out a form regarding the incident and I was told I would get a call back in about 3 days. I did mentioned that if this was covered under the dealership warranty. I would disregard the whole matter. But unfortunately it is not covered. So I got a quote regarding this matter on July 23rd. And I waited for a call. Other matters more pressing came up and took my attention away. And realized I haven't got a call back. So I called back on August 10th. They gave me the same schpeal that they'll call me back in a few days. So I waited, because work was quite demanding around that time. Then on August 17th. No call back. None. I was able to get a chance to Call Again on August 21st. I made the caller aware that I was recording the phone call. I tried to talk to this person regarding my matter. And I was given the same schpeal again. So I had to put a time constraint on them this time. They had until the 21st and 22nd to call me back before I start the procedure for Small Claims on the 23rd. That time has passed until today the 25th. I'm not going to be out on a wild goose chase. Once I fill out the papers to initiate my case against this business in small claims by the end of today. I'm turning them in first thing to tomorrow. I usually do a hand wash place every other week that cleans in and out of my car but sometimes when i can't get to it, i love the convenience of a drive thru for a quick wash. However this place needs to clean up. Especially when i pay for a premium wash which is a 1/3 of what i pay for a nice hand wash that will clean in and out of my car for me. The employees here need to be checking all the hoses throughout the hour- multiple hoses were clogged when trying to vacuum out my car, such an inconvenience! Also need to clean up the vacuum parking spaces, broom out the water/mud and clean up the trash people through on the floor. After giving up on vacuuming out my car, i get in my car and there's mud all over the floor now from my shoes. The employees should be doing this every time a car pulls out! Price is cheap and that's what kind of wash you get, paid for a premium car wash 15.00 for a truck, one person is at the cashier booth one guides you in and the other not sure what he was doing. Either way I have A newer truck went there for a wash and my tailgate seemed worse after I went thru the wash. The tail gate was still dry and dustier than before I went. No one is spraying vehicles down before they go thru the wash which they used to do, not sure if it's under new ownership or not but I'll Never go back nor will My wife and she gets her car washed weekly. It's been almost 3 weeks since the equipment in their tunnel car wash caused damaged to my driver side mirror causing the cap to break off. I had to file a claim with an employee and was told they would review footage and have a manager get back to me. Nothing from them yet and mind you, I've called them and was told that the manager hasn't reviewed it. That's how much they care about the customer! I don't know what happened today. I've been coming to you guys for years, and I've had nothing less than an "A+" experience every single time. Today, however, was the exception. The front 1/3 of my car didn't receive enough soap, so all the bug splatter and bird droppings on my hood and front section were still there when I got home and checked. I had to use hot water and one of those "Magic Sponges" I had laying around to finish the job. What happened, guys? Ugh idk what happened perhaps different ownership or management but it's changed. My awesome $6 cheap and quick car wash is now $8 and sucks. When I want a deep cleaning it has gone from $11 to $15+. Also they have sped up the track so it takes probably about half the time meaning my car gets about half as clean. Legit drove away with my car still soaking wet with splotches all over it. Manager needs better training... I have been a member at the 5 star car wash for months. Today, while going through no soap was dispensed on the front end of my car. The car was going through halfway before the sprayers kicked on.. After going through I went around and told the person working that I didn't get soap on my car. He told me to hold tight went inside and showed me a picture of the back end of the car with soap on it. I told him show me the front end of my car and he said I don't have that photo. I said ok... I have unlimited washes so can I just go through again because I don't want to argue. He said you are only allowed one wash per day. I said my car was not properly washed and I just need it right. He said go through again and we are going to cancel your membership because you are too much of problem. I know that carwash are suppose to be an easy business for an absent owner, but you need to keep an eye on your business or it will go south very quickly. I'm not a big fan of leaving bad reviews but the owner needs to know what's going on in his business. ** Update ** I updated my review from one to three because I got a quick response. We have been using this car wash since shortly after it opened and have monthly subscriptions for all of our cars. It is so convenient and easy. However, It has caused me thought over the years as I have watched this place get filthier and filthier. We have to keep extra towels to wipe off our shoes before we get back in our clean car. As I suspected, it was only a matter of time until the actual washing mechanisms began to fall apart and not work. That time has come as of yesterday. I took my brand new 2018 Honda Pilot here for its first car wash and it got its first scratches after it came out.... I know for a fact it did NOT have a scratch before I took it in. BE CAREFUL. I had two incidents here at this place. First one after staying out of the country for a month, first think I did was to get my car washed when I came back. After I went to this place, which was the only place I went after my trip, I had a few $300 charges on my Credicard from POSTMATES (which I never used before). Postmates solved the issue and I canceled my card, but I kept coming back to the carwash because is so close to where I live and I'm a client for years and decided to give a second chance. Today my car was damaged inside the carwash and they don't want to take responsibility, basically saying that I'm lying and my car was already damaged, which is not true. From what I read here there were other people that had this same issue and they don't care if they break your car. So BE CAREFUL. I should have read other reviews before coming to this place. I have a 2019 Toyota Camry, as I went through their washing tunnel, my back bumper began to fall off. Manager was not on scene, 'in-charged' employee was not helpful. I should have file a police report at the time but I trusted them that their manager would call me. Lies. No phone call from their manager ever since I got into the accident which were 5 DAYS ago. To top it off, they made me fill in an accident report and waited after I left to add more details. Please read the other comments and they will blame your car already had 'previous damages'. I doubt they will take any responsibility but turned out they don't even have the nerve to call me back. AVOID!! Somewhat loyal customer to 5-Star b/c convenient for quick average wash. On 11/29 took both my wife's car and mine for wash. Day after discovered horrid MECHANICAL SCRATCHES over hood and along side of car Attempted to resolve with staff and management and of course they claimed it was not caused by 5-Star. So both cars have the same MECHANICAL SCRATCHES in the same location on the same day and management viewed the video and claimed "they saw nothing". Pics tell all. Stand up and be honest 5-Star and take responsibility for damaging my car. I don't write negative articles on Yelp. I went in on opening day to get my Mustang washed and was HORRIFIED with the end result. Pulled up and asked my cashier (per the receipt, Jose) if the wash that was 10.00 (their most expensive wash) would get my wheels clean because they were the dirtiest part of the car, and he said oh yeah and gave me a line of bs a mile long...... The soap and bubbles are colorful and the same as other car washes, but coming out of the wash there are a TON of huge dryers - I thought this would be great! It's an illusion though because they didn't DRY the car, I still had water running down my windshield and then pulled out and around to get out my car care cloths, window cleaner and wax at the vacuum section and found there was still SOAP on the back of my car and OIL ALL OVER MY WHEELS!!!!!!!!!!!! I walked right up to Jose and said dude come look at this crap and he comes over with the manager and there's OIL all over my front WHEELS and TIRES....... they gave me some line about an axel and grease from a truck that just came through but HEY I DO NOT CARE, YOU JUST GOT OIL AND CRAP ALL OVER MY WHEELS AND TIRES!!!!!!! The guys are cleaning my tires when I pointed the soap out to the manager and told him 2 months ago I JUST painted my entire vehicle (see previous posts on that episode) and I said that needs rinsed because I don't want spots all over my car and he gave me a line about the soap is a detergent like dish soap. I told him I didn't care what it was I wanted it OFF my car! They dried that off and I was already pissed so I told them I was going to drive around and be back if that stuff was still on my car. Then I ran my finger on my tire and the oil was still on the tire - again Jose cleaned that off too. Drove around and came back because I found there were WATER SPOTS all over the car and not just water but some kind of something else because it was like my windshield (that was supposed to have been treated with rainex) was GREASY ---- it was sooooooooo spotted up - and so was the paint. So I pull in and again Jose comes out and starts washing the w/s with some paper towels and I kept telling him I'VE GOT IT because his spray crap was getting all over the hood now too ......... omg omg omg I'm NOT going back here and you should CHECK YOUR VEHICLE before you leave to make sure there's not a bunch of oil and grease all over it as well as soap still on the paint and greasy dots all over your windows as well as the paint. He told me "you think you're so special just because you drive a Mercedes." I tried to hand him the $6 and he refused and said I have to reverse back. This is almost 2020, everyone drives a Mercedes and what difference does it make. I've never felt so harassed in my life by these two men. I can't believe they work for this company. I went to this location today, and that was a huge mistake. I pulled up to the line where the attendant helps you, the sliding glass door was closed, and no one was there. Two more cars pulled in behind me, so it made it impossible to leave. I honked my horn a couple of times just to try to get someone's attention, but no one came. After sitting in the line for over five minutes, the woman in the car behind me came up and told me that she was calling them, trying to get them to come up and open the gate. I honked my horn again, just hoping someone would hear. A female employee, who later claimed to be the assistant manager, poked her head around the corner while she was on her phone and flipped me off. The woman from the car behind me again, came up and said, "I cannot believe that she flipped you off", so I was not seeing things. Finally, the woman came into the attendant booth and left the sliding glass door closed. After a few minutes of standing there on her phone, she just opened the gate and sent me through the wash. As I was drying my car, I saw a male employee going through the back door. I decided I would call and speak with him, hoping he was a manager. He said that he was not, and that the manager was in the tunnel. That was the woman who flipped me off. She then got on the phone and became very combative and was arguing with me, saying that it was none of my business what she was doing. I asked her her name, and she refused to give it, and started yelling at me, telling me to just call corporate if I had a problem with her. This woman should not be working there. I will no longer be going to this location. The employees at the 17th St. location are incredibly friendly and helpful. read more

For $5 wash it works out fantastic and IF you ask they will help you do your tired and borrow you some towels, you just have to ask people. The reason I go here is because not only is at quality for how much your pain but also the people that work there very attentive and respectable. Pulled up around noon, paid less than $10, got a complimentary steering wheel wipe and washed and vacuumed my car in less than 30 minutes. Employees were very nice and assisted me with questions. No complaints about the Car Wash itself but I have gone through express car washes that have gotten my car a bit cleaner but overall it was worth the money I paid. read more
