Better prices and service than Michaels for framing! I was very impressed with this place. I had a poster sized frame that the glass cracked and needed replacement. I bought the frame in , they sized it and cut the glass while I waited there! That's fast. I didn't get the name of the gentleman who assisted me, other than chatting I know he is part Italian part Scottish. I would have thanked him by name. I will definitely be returning here for any future framing needs I have. read more

With the assistance of Matthew at our local Fast Frame shop, we are so delighted with the way our latest project turned out. Matthew helped us to choose the best way to display it and I cannot say enough about his expertise! Each piece was mounted with a reverse bevel and then mounted to stand off from the back matboard. The main mat is a beautiful teal suede and it was Matthew's idea to add the yellow wooden edge (not sure what it's called) but it looks great! I'm so glad that he made the suggestion to do that. The prints looks like they are floating inside the frame. It's awesome and looks very nice in my living room. This was the 2nd time that we have used this shop and we will definitely be back. read more

I came in to have my diplomas from high school, college, and law school laminated. However, after speaking with Matthew I decided to have my diplomas framed behind museum glass. It took me a couple of visits and conversations with Matthew before I finally decided on what I wanted (I've never had anything important framed before and I was a little indecisive as I wanted to make sure I was happy with the final product). Matthew was very helpful in helping me make choices that I would be happy with. After getting back my framed diplomas today, I am very happy with the work Matthew and FastFrame did. Matthew was a big help! On a separate note, I do have to say that I only felt comfortable having this specific location work on my diplomas. I originally went to this FastFrame location because I was on the South side of town and happened to drive past. I came in and talked with Matthew to ask some questions and get an idea about what I wanted done. I decided I liked what FastFrame had to offer and I decided that I would return with my diplomas. I live around the Domain so I took my diplomas to the FastFrame location by the Domain/Arboretum because it was closer than the West William Cannon location. I'm not sure if the different locations are franchises or not, but I did not feel comfortable leaving my diplomas with the North location. The sales/service attendant seemed apathetic and disinterested. He didn't give me the same good feeling I got from talking with Matthew. Always come here. NEVER go to Michaels! The help at Michaels is horrible but that's another tale. Anyway, Mathew helped me select just the right mat for a watercolor I had that was already single matted and framed. It looked great when I picked it up but it bowed when I tried to get it in the frame at home so I took it back. Even though the problem had nothing to do with their work, Kurt took it all apart for me, trimmed my original mat, took out my old crummy metal wedges and stapled it, put a new better wire on it and even gave me a new hanger for it. All for no charge. Now that's service! And it looks beautiful on the wall in my living room, too! read more

The work I've had done has satisfied me in the past. I took a new piece in today, chose the matting and frame. Was quoted the cost and approved. THEN was told because they are busy could not have until October! Not fast but when I explained I was undergoing major surgery in a month and not able to pick it up till January. I asked if it could be moved up. They were willing to accommodate my request for a 30% increase in the price! $80 charge to accommodate. I understand a premium but this represents a ripoff and should change their name To Framing and take no claim for "FAST" just beware. I won't be back again even though I have had work done there before. Lost me as a customer and a source of referral. Too piggy! read more

I recently ordered a 40x40 custom frame to surprise my husband with a collage of our many concert tickets. Fast frame team at William Cannon was fantastic beginning to end...helped me pick out nice wood within budget, finished quicker than needed, and created a finished piece better than imagined. Matthew helped carry the large piece out to my small car and we tried every possible way to squeeze it in but was my car door and trunk were slightly too small (my fault for not measuring prior to ordering!) They kept it for a few more days until I could sneakily use my husband's car to pick it up instead. Once again Matthew carried it out and together we finally squeezed it in! Don't let the sort of "fast food" name scare you away. This shop is extremely professional, knowledgeable about artwork and has an incredible selection of frames, liners and detail pieces. We were very unhappy with our first framer choice because after two weeks we had not received our quote for framing 5 pieces of art. We just happened to drive by Fast Frame and I said let's stop in here and see what they have. We were very impressed with the huge selection of frames they had available and I said to my husband, we're going to pick up our art work and bring it here. When we arrived with our art work, we had a very knowledgeable person help us put each piece together. We took quite a bit of time but we never felt rushed. Since we were there at the Xmas rush time, I said we weren't in a hurry and after Xmas/early January was fine. We chose a range of framing from very simple to complex 3-part frames. We thought the prices were reasonable based on our selections. We got a call the first week in January that our work was ready. We are hanging it today and are extremely pleased with the results. I purchased 2 prints from the Uffizi Museum in Florence this summer, and knew I would have to probably pay a lot more to frame them than I paid for the actual art. While that is true, I have no complaints. Fast Frame did a gorgeous job with the framing. The pieces look incredible. I used the $40 coupon and saved a lot with it. They did not try to get me to buy pricier framing - I actually got some of their least expensive wood and it looks like I paid a million bucks. I was clueless as to what frame, matting and glass to go with.I did not know a thing about the multiple options I had to choose from. They took the time to explain the benefits of the different processes and actually seemed to care about me making the right decission for my room situation.
