I came in for a drug screen for my job. kiara Harris was horrible. she said they were booked and couldn't talk walk-ins. I called my manager to see if she had an appointment. After, my manager informed me that she would be reaching out to corporate because, no appointment was required. Kiara was trying t turn away patients before closing time. She yelled loudly in the waiting room and then she called her manager started yelling in the background while I was talking. I was here on Oct 4, 2021for a sliced finger. When we needed to get my son's wrist checked on Oct 7, 2022, they were my first choice when we had to wait until next week to se his physician. I'm sorry to see so many others have had negative experiences, but mine were both great - a year and 3 days apart, but still great. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I witnessed her patience dealing with a situation with someone in the waiting area. The PA my son saw was the same PA that stitched my finger last year. He provided thorough care and explained to both of us the best ways to treat the problem. He even took extra time to look up my records from last year to clarify a question my primary doctor had about that visit. Scheduled my visit on Saturday night at 11:30 PM for 08:30 AM Sunday morning at which time their site stated that that is the opening time. I decided to go before church to avoid the rush if there was one and I was feeling worse by the moment. I got there at 08:22 to be early. I saw a gentleman also waiting but he left after awhile. I kept checking if they were open or for some life in the office area. I did not see anyone and after staying to 08:52 decided that the staff had better things to do than to treat people for their illnesses So I left and went the the Fast Med on Creedmoor Ave. I was in and out in less than an hour. Very slow service even though it seemed to not be full at the time. I spent over an hour waiting to be called when the lobby only had another person besides me waiting. Could have had a better attitude when I asked how long it would have taken for a simple test to be done. Mind yall I wasnt there for any type of check up. Horrible service. read more

If you like for your doctor to not listen to your symptoms, and to get an attitude with you when you express that you've already tried the treatment he's suggesting and it's only made your symptoms worse, "Zach" is the guy for you! He'll also leave then snarklily come back in and suggest off the wall lab tests and when you express that it your symptoms don't align with what he's suggesting(which he already knows because he ruled it out in the beginning), he'll toss the swabs he brought in on the counter and very quickly prescribe you something he originally claimed wouldn't work just so he's prescribed you something to get you out of his office. All of this while being not even 6 inches from where you're sitting. I caught wind of these behaviors and decided to just give up and leave. I'm very tired of doctors like this. Not to mention I heard one of the nurses calling for him and asking other nurses where he was while I was waiting because they hasn't seen him in a long time. I wasn't there to just simply be prescribed something, I was there for insight and help. But the second I told him the first thing he suggested didn't work for me he switched to just acting annoyed and wouldn't offer anything else until he very clearly just wanted to get rid of me. And a word of advice to Zach, if you're getting aggravated with your patients, please back up to at least a few feet because being close enough to touch knees while someone is getting upset with you is extremely uncomfortable. Following the hours posted on the door, I rescheduled for 8:00 the following Monday, arrived right on time to locked doors and waited until 8:30 before leaving. I loved my practitioner here! She was warm, caring and really informative but my post-care was incredibly lackluster. I was seen Friday, at 8:30am. Someone named Stephanie called on Monday to give me my lab results. When I called back I was left on hold for 11 minutes; with a promise that she would call me back. It is now Wednesday and I have yet to here from anyone. I probably wouldn't come back here because of the lack of communication even though my actual care was excellent. I had close friend come here the week before and he experienced a similar lack of communication. read more

Took my 8 year old in who was sick and has asthma. It was a Sunday and I could not find anyone who took his insurance or who would call me back. Finally was able to go here. About 30 min from my house so not close. I get there and I realize my ID is in my other wallet. They absolutely refuse to see a sick CHILD because of no ID. Not willing to help or work with me at all. Do not take your kids here because they do not care. You people suck. read more

Had to get 8 stitches removed and when all was said and done, I spent 30 minutes total in this Fast Med. The PA was swift with the removal and answered all my questions. The nurse who took my vitals was friendly and funny. Would recommend to anyone needing an urgent visit! read more

Came in for a pre-employment drug screen. The group of patients ahead of me were openly discussing COVID exposure, I assume they were here for a test. Asked person at front desk to clean counter area off before I was asked to use it, I even volunteered to clean it myself, she declined. Additionally, she handled my ID without gloves or cleaning hands after handling the previous patients' paperwork, IDs, and payments. It was only wiped down after me and another patient used the area. Even then, she did not clean the seats where the patients were waiting. Totally unacceptable in the age of COVID! read more

Went there for a check to see if I have chest congestion infection ( I had green mucus) checked it online and got an appointment time. Went in , check in was friendly and quick. Was seen within 5 min. The MA was very professional and friendly. She even offered me some water while I wait for the PA. PA came in within 5 min. Thorough check and diagnosis with prescription. My blood pressure was high ( I have elevated blood pressure anyway and had taken some cold and flu medicine An hour earlier so pressure was elevated even more) they showed the proper concern and had me lay down on my side and monitored my pressure over 10/15 min. It went down to an acceptable rate and they released me. They instructed me to check it every hour for a while to make sure. Very pleased with my visit. I would go back. read more

I've been here a few times in the last six months for a sprained finger and flu/cold symptoms. Four stars for wait times at this location. Each visit was short (10 minutes to 30 minutes) and I was in and out within an hour - very much appreciated. Full disclosure - it was not busy during my visits. 1 star for overall customer service. Each person I've encountered from the check-in, evaluation to follow-up calls (me calling them) ranged from barely civil to downright rude (the follow-up phone call). Speed and convenience are important to me but not as important as courteousness and good customer service. Unfortunately, nearly every employee interaction I've had did not meet basic standards for good customer service at any public facing business. There were no smiles or welcoming demeanor when I checked in at any of my visits. The PAs and supporting clinical staff were a bit more civil, but not by much. I found them to be somewhat informative but rather stoic and impersonal, almost robotic. So I've weighted customer service much higher in my overall rating. Advice to management: These are very easy issues to fix. If your business model truly is patient-centric, train your staff to be friendly and personable to your customers. The receptionist is the first line of defense for the clinical staff. Instruct them to smile, be courteous, understanding and compassionate to each person walking through the front door, even the rude ones. Sometimes a friendly gesture can make an otherwise difficult customer much easier to deal with. The clinical staff can show a bit more personality and compassion. And the visits feel a bit rushed. I don't think I'll be back. Am now looking for a new urgent care place with better bedside manner and customer service. I would rather pay more and be treated better (even if it means waiting longer) than go to FastMed knowing what it will be like dealing with the staff there. read more

I went in around 10am during weekday and took them way too long time to see me. The front desk person was ok but not the friendliest. The whole visit consisted of getting my vitals taken, running one quick test and med prescription. I was charged more than $300. I would not recommend anyone to go here. read more

Been here for my kid before and had a good experience. Had some abdominal pain today and since it's a convenient location I decided to go here instead of my usual (Duke urgent care). I checked in online 40 minutes ahead and was planning my time accordingly, I get there and I was told that the check in time is not an appointment (I KNOW) and it's currently a 2 hour wait. There were 5 people waiting. 2 HOURS??? FOR 5 PEOPLE? Are you performing surgeries on them? I don't understand the point of checking in online if you're just going to make people wait as any walk in patient. Literally ruined my plans and wasted my time. Never again. Also, hiring friendly people doesn't hurt. We're not getting treatment for free *eyeroll* read more

First of all, I'd advise anyone to avoid going to any FastMed ever AT ALL. I was treated poorly not only by a person in the waiting room (called me a bitch and said I was "bitching" about his music when all I had done was simply ask him to turn it down. I could hear the terrible music through his ear buds. Then, as he scuffled across the room because I told him he could either turn it down because I had a migraine or go sit on the other side of the waiting room. He then got the ding bats behind the counter involved and called me a bitch yet again. Then.... the two WOMEN looked at me as if I had done something wrong. I then told the idiot that had already called me names and been rude, "dude you don't have to be a dick about it, I asked you nicely 3 times". He continues on as the women WORKING THERE look at me like I had taken a dump on the floor or something. THEN... these females working at the fastmed proceeded to tell me to "watch my language because there were children in the waiting room" (that was a lie; no children were present). So, I'd had enough and left because they had not even checked me in yet AND never said a word to the boy causing this problem (I say boy because no man acts like that). Not time efficient. And in my efforts to file a complaint, the same women played on the phone, were rude, hung up on me, would not give me corporates phone number, and now the piece of shit in charge of complaints is sweeping it under the rug. It's about respect. You get what you give, at least with me you do. So now.. now I'm going to the better business bureau of NC and filing a formal complaint again the entirety of the whole mess that is FastMed. Hope this is helpful. I visited this location last month for an allergic reaction. I waited a long time to be seen despite being the only person in the waiting room & did not see any other patients leave. I was eventually seen by the PA who was also the same person who checked me in. The problem started when I was asked for my credit card in case the visit wasn't covered. I wasn't worried since I have insurance. This is where the problem starts, don't ever give them your credit card! I receive an email from the billing department on Friday (sent conveniently after hours) stating that I am responsible for $200! I pull up the EOB & saw that I was charged $270 to my insurance which is excessive when I only saw a PA. The email I received was automated so I could not respond. It is after hours & I cannot talk to anyone. According to the email, they will charge my credit card in 2 days (so after Saturday & Sunday). I did not receive any notification by mail to dispute the denial. I have never been charged so much for an urgent care visit even when I didn't have insurance. This is pure highway robbery. Do not take advantage of people because I will not stop fighting this! read more

Awful experience. Went in and their power went down due to a storm, which was fine, but when I was seen by the """doctor""", she first stopped me when I was telling her what was going on to answer the door when someone knocked. Then she interrupted me again to check her phone. She offered no helpful advice and said she would send my information to Raleigh Neuro. I never got a call and reached back out and the front desk girl said she'd follow up and STILL nothing. I paid almost $100 for my time to be completed wasted. I wish I knew the name of the person I saw because she was god awful at her job. Would not recommend this place to anyone unless you have a hangnail. this place is horrible. the ma's are uneduacated. went there to get my first tb skin test and i was stuck twice because the ma did not know how to do it. went back to have my second test read and the ma that it did not give me the correct time to come back. which meant i had to repeat my 2 step tb skin test. please educate your ma's on 2 step tb skin testing. read more
