Tennessee Fried Steak and 2 Eggs
    Irma F.

Despite the mixed reviews, I like this spot and my family loves it. It is a go to spot for a good hardy breakfast. I've been here twice recently and both times the place with jam packed! First time around I tried the Tennessee fried steak. Delicious! This time I had their green chilaquiles with steak and they were amazing! Steak cooked perfectly and the salsa verde was flavorful. Ask for their homemade hot sauce, it's a must! This is also my sister favorite spot for French toast. Really good. The chicken fried steak wasn't bad either. I can't speak much on the other service but our waiter was food and attentive. He took care of us during both my visits. Definitely a nice spot.

    1-2-3 biscuit and gravy

Was in the area looking for a breakfast spot, came across this restaurant. There was a long line on a Sunday. It appears to be a family owned, we had good service despite the fact it was busy. I ordered 1-2-3 biscuit and sausage gravy, it came with eggs and choice of meat bacon or sausage. I can say the gravy was delicious and the biscuit was soft. Price was reasonable, next time I'm back in town I will definitely be eating here again.

Crepes with strawberries, chocolate pancakes, and all the versions of eggs one could ask for.

Our first Vegas stop upon arriving from LA! Boozy brunchers be warned that there is nooooo alcohol of any sorts on their menu. Food was delicious and staff was friendly and kept coming around to check on us. Strongly suggest ownership adds some alternative options for those who do not eat animals. Beyond meat or fake bacon would've sent me over the moon with my Benedict! They also don't have avocados.. Which, ok, odd. Best freaking house potatoes though.

Amazing find! Thanks Google for the tip. Definitely worth seeking! Delicious menu I wish I could try more dishes!!

    Bowl of Oatmeal Breakfast

Oatmeal should also include raisins and almonds. The old location on E. Charleston (same owner) offered a daily oatmeal special before 10am that included coffee, oatmeal a cup of fruit and toast for 9.99. This location will do the combination for $12.99 ( no thank you) I would imagine same restaurants same prices.

Pancakes for my 3yr old undercooked $10? For reals! They replaced them but u would expect 2 pancakes not one if they bring you 2 to begin with. I received 1 after they replaced my baby's food. But when I flipped the pancake, BURNT!! Burnt pancake! The green chilaquiles were dry, so were the beans. But i spent $30 cause they "were nice" enough to take off the meal for my baby. They did not offer a refill on my drink, maybe i had to ask for it. Upon entering there was a table(where we sat at) empty for about 10min. Smh i would have rather gone to IN -out, Carls jr, mcdonals(didnt want crappy pancakes) or maybe just gone the extra 6 miles to Blue Berry Hill on Flamingo and Eastern

This is definitely a locals spot because you can miss it from the street unless you know it's there. The Blue Skillet is on the corner of Nellis and Bonanza here the shuttered Kmart was. Tucked away in a little corner, you'll find it hidden away from the streets view. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. The food is always fresh and consistent. The delicious pancakes are always so buttery and fluffy, you don't even need any fruit or syrup to enjoy them. I love that they offer very similar dishes to some larger chain breakfast places at a better price. The staff is always very nice and attentive. The only down side is that this place is always full. There is a line and it's first come/first served. Come early and come hungry, this place is one you'll want to keep as your favorites.

The fried pickles are always good but what surprised us was the rattlesnake bites. It was fried cheese balls that had some jalapeño in each bite. It was very good. For my meal, I ordered a full rack of ribs with a cup of chili and rice as my two sides. The rice was not very good. It was dry and the flavor was off. The chili was good, I enjoyed it. My rack of ribs were very enjoyable. The meat was super tender and took no effort to come off the bone. My friend ordered the chicken fried chicken with corn and fries as his sides. He enjoyed his meal as well. Our only complaint about the service was we felt our waitress could have been a bit more attentive. Seemed like she was distracted during our interactions with her. They were busy so I won't fault her too much. Overall we were happy and will return again.

My son is a chef and has very high standards when it comes to food. He has dined at exceptional restaurants, including several in Italy, so he doesn't hand out compliments lightly. Once again, the entire team made us feel incredibly welcome. Tucker, Celine, and our hostess (my apologies for forgetting her name) were all absolutely wonderful and provided outstanding hospitality from beginning to end. The food was exceptional. My wife ordered the branzino, and it was absolutely phenomenal. My son ordered one of the pasta dishes, and he was genuinely amazed by the quality, flavor, and execution. He had previously considered Nora's to be one of the better Italian restaurants, but after this meal, he felt Esther's Kitchen was on another level. Coming from someone who has traveled extensively throughout Italy and appreciates authentic Italian cuisine, that says a great deal. I ordered my favorite gem salad with the incredible anchovy Caesar dressing, and once again, it was beyond outstanding. And the sourdough bread... what can I say? I'm a sucker for great sourdough, and Esther's never disappoints. If you're a sourdough lover, their selection of sourdough pizzas is also fantastic. The only suggestion I would offer is regarding the Gorgonzola and sausage pizza. The pizza itself was excellent, but I found the Gorgonzola to be a bit overpowering and it masked some of the other wonderful flavors. That's simply a matter of personal preference. Thank you to Tucker, Anna, Celine, Danielle, and the entire Esther's Kitchen team for consistently providing exceptional food and warm hospitality. We always leave impressed, and we're already looking forward to coming back again this Friday.
