You know flavor of everything just really wasn't that great. The service was wonderful. But I really don't think I'll go back we had the three different meats we had pork belly duck and boiled chicken. We also had fried rice which my daughter and her dad liked it I don't eat rice. And we also had Mongolian beef that was so spicy I couldn't even eat it!!!! The location was really hard to find really way in the back behind or on the long side Planet Fittness. Food wise... it's tasty. 3.5 cause they ran out of crispy pork belly early again. Poultry: The ducks got flavor, it even came with a side of dipping oil in case you want a little extra. The scallion sauce for the scallion chicken wasn't too potent on ginger or scallion which was nice to pile up on the chicken for extra umami. I do prefer the salted chicken though. The meat and skin seemed to hold more from the salt rub. Whether you choose one or the other, they're both yummy in their own aspects. Noodles: The soup was simple light chicken broth, which is perfect for a rainy or sick day. The rice noodles were not the flat type but round and had a really nice bounce to it, would get it again. I recommend it with at least the salted chicken or roast duck. They'll give the broth a little extra flavor. Now for the chow fun: There was more meat than last time and the noodles are fresh... but it could use a little higher fire power to get that "wok" flavor punch. But I did get the 3 meat Cambo for $25 I felt like the plate should have came with just a bit more food the Cambo plate was a great price can't be disappointed on that the cheese wonton was yummy can't mess that up. Right when you walk into the restaurant, you're greeted with the mouthwatering roasted ducks and chickens hanging displayed through the glass divider. The smell is so good this brings me back to my childhood memories. You know when something is good when there's a lot of people even when it just had its grand opening! My first time, which was a few days ago it was jam packed. I wanted to try some roasted duck, which was an hour wait so instead and so we decided to try their drinks. I was determined to come back at a later day and so we got the HK milk tea and taro milk tea. My favorite was the taro, It tasted like Ube ice cream. My second time was yesterday and I made sure I came early right when they opened up. I tried the BBQ Combo meal and chose Roasted duck and Soy sauce chicken with Pork fried rice. Take note Roasted duck and pork fried rice is additional charge which was well worth it. I also wanted to try the cucumber salad and honey lemon tea. The order surprisingly came out quick! At first bite it almost brought me to tears. I'm not joking. I'm being for real. I felt warped back to foods that I had tasted in San Jose but are no longer there. It felt so nostalgic eating something so good. To me this was more than just a delicious dish, it really did warmed my heart. Come and try it yourself so you'll know what I'm talking about. We came to give this place a try. When walking in it's very bright and almost every table is full. We grabbed a table and some menus and sat down and browse the options. It took around 5-10min for someone to take our order. Even though others came in after us and had their orders taken first and were served water before we were even asked. Finally when the server took our order. We asked what she recommended and we took her suggestion and also ordered 2 teas. We were informed it would be about 20min for our teas as well. We waited almost 30min for our food. They first served our 3 meat plate first and we sat waiting for our chow fun and green beans which never came. So we started to eat a little bit of the meat while we waited and it was COLD. Not the duck, chicken or ribs were warm to touch. I was shocked...how do you server cooked meat so cold... after about 10+ minutes of us waiting for the other sides. They finally brought out our noodles which thankfully were piping hot. But still no tea of green beans. After another 10min finally our green beans were placed in front of us. The food its self all had great flavor and tasted good. Even if the meat was cold but I was too embarrassed to even get up and ask why our meat was so cold. My partner is very non-confrontational and asked me not to complain. Even when one of the servers asked us if everything was okay. We never got our teas either and the table that came after us got all their orders including last minute to go orders. Their meat and food was steaming while ours was colder than people who died 100 years ago. I'd give it 1 star if the food had not been tasty but the service was atrocious and our expensive meat was cold and we never got our full order. Two of the dishes we normally order at Chinese restaurants include spicy stir fried green beans and honey walnut prawns. Both of these dishes were the best we've ever had at any Chinese restaurant. The beans were slightly crisp and seasoned perfectly. The shrimp was coated lightly and cooked perfectly. The honey roasted walnuts were crisp and delicious. It was a fantastic meal.
