Good food and service. They would have to place an order online. They only have to call an order.

Dissapponted but happy the roach made its appearance before I ordered food! The place looked sketchy looking but was recommended to me and I have always believed little hole in the wall restaurants make the best food.

Garlic chicken with fried rice and chow mein

This is a hidden gem!!! Great prices. Delicious food. Mongolian beef was bursting with flavor. Garlic chicken was the perfect mix of crispy and saucy. Everything was piping hot and very fresh!

a take out container of chinese food

Spent $12 on this plate keep in mind these aren't like the regular small plates you get at any Chinese app these are the large plates they are well served I ordered a combo broccoli beef with I don't know what else tbh I'm drunk rn Lmfaoo there was forsure fish in there too ask for soy sauce the fried rice needs it giving four stars because they didn't give me enough siracha

This place is located on Yosemite Blvd in the heart of the sketchiest area of Modesto, but don't let that deter you from trying this place out. It is THE hidden gem of the Chinese food industry. I initially tried this place because I was searching for the best Wor Wonton soup. I have tried at least 10 places in Modesto/Ceres and this place won hands down; like they blew the other places away. I then tried other menu items and I have never been disappointed. They have a combo plate section that not only lets you choose 1 or 2 entrees, but it allows you to choose an appetizer as well; ranging from foil wrapped chicken to fried fish or prawns to egg rolls. There are 18 choices of entrees to choose from that most other places don't even offer on their combo plates. Prices for the combos range from $7.25-$9.25 and the servings are GINORMOUS . The restaurant itself isn't really inviting as far as location and interior goes, but it's family owned, the service is awesome, the food is cooked fresh with fresh ingredients and if you live nearby, they also deliver for free if you order $20 worth of food. If not, there's always GrubHub. Get a to-go meal (or two) on a Netflix binge night; you won't be disappointed!

The sweet and sour pork meat had a burnt taste. I didn't care for the noodles either. Not for me.

Took my staff here and for 2 of them, it was their first time trying this Chinese place. Ordered on the dim sum menu- pork shu mai, shrimp dumpling, steamed pork bun. Since we did family style, I ordered for everyone but gave them option to choose an entree. Sizzling rice soup - staff loved it, simple ingredients of bok Choy, chicken , shrimp and crackling rice that's put on the soup at the table. 5 stars Mongolian beef - favorite for the first timers. One staff said she liked the taste and the crispy won ton. 5 stars. Pan fried - Hong Kong style chow mein - basically the noodles is toasted and crispy and the sauce with the meats (chicken beef shrimp) with bok choy is placed on top! I always get this and i recommend peeps to try it! My staff loved it. 5 stars Pork fried rice - usually I like the pink bbq pork style fried rice but this isn't bad. Not a lot of veggies so not colorful. 4 stars Garlic chicken- pretty good: lots of onions. Doesn't seem that garlicky to me. 4 stars Hot spicy string beans- needed some greens and this is pretty crunchy and tasty. 5 stars Service- lots of peeps working. When you ask boxes to go, they give you it but don't put the food for you. 4 stars Overall, good place to sit down and have dim sum or order Chinese food. Popular place for Togo orders

The inside is decked out in lucky red and reminded me of those mom-n-pop Chinese restaurants of yore. There's a walk-up counter to place to-go orders. I ordered: Salt n pepper shrimp - I counted 14 head OFF shrimp with 60% onions, NO jalapenos for almost $17. The shrimp looked like the kind you find in a frozen bag at Costco - small and... shrimpy. I get this may be a bastardized version to appeal to the general demographic in Turlock, but I was not impressed. It's what made me write my review right away, I was so shocked by the small amount I got. Chicken chow mein - this was ordered at the counter for the SO after placing my original order over the phone. When he dug into it, it was 40% bean sprouts and barely any chicken, maybe 5 or 6 small pieces... Beef chow fun - same issue of overcompensating with hella bean sprouts. The beef wasn't velveted enough and a bit tough. Taste was fine. Chili oil spilled over in my to-go bag and didn't have much spice at all. All three entrees came in the leftover to-go sized boxes, totaling almost $50 after tax and tip. I understand inflation and all, but cannot justify returning due to the negative value for the amount of food received. It's unfortunate because the service is probably some of the best for a Chinese restaurant. Super friendly over the phone and just as friendly in-person. As Gordon Ramsay would say, "Damn. What a shame."
