Now that was a taco! I never had a taco so big in my life, and it was well-received by yours truly. The kicker is that it was a regular-sized taco but stuffed to the edges like a burrito. The server just happily piled on the ingredients. I could have gotten one, but after taking a big bite, I did the right thing to get two. I added the bowl too. I know, what was I thinking? But I'm happy I did because the bowl was just as good as the tacos. I actually ate all of it, the tacos and bowl, right there at the restaurant. I went here the last time I was in Georgia and it will be in my rotation when I get back. It's set up like the usual Moes and Chipotles, but better. I ordered the veggie bowl and the queso. The vegetables were fresh. The beans and rice were well seasoned and the bowl was filled to the top. The queso is a must when you order. A nice spicyness to it and not super salty. Stopped in while working in the area and will definitely be back when I am close by. I had a large steak salad and it was perfect. The amount of toppings you can add to it is incredible and they are generous with them. Probably some of the best pico de gallo I've had. Just enough spice to give it a kick but not so hot you're going to regret later. The staff was super friendly and even though the place was empty it still had a nice feel to it. I have had Fat Joes about 3 times prior to today and have never been disappointed. My wife loves the place. She usually gets a steak bowl. Today I got the beef, Spanish rice, and black bean bowl. Added cheese, black olives, and some other things. The shredded ghost pepper cheese is really good. Spicy as hell but good. I think it was $6.50. Decently priced but I wouldn't want to pay more. Their chips are fresh and crispy. They offer like 3 different salsas as well. Staff here is very accommodating too! Stop in and try to you some. I stopped into this spot for dinner last night. They have several different types of bowel and burritos and it is reasonable priced. I've never heard of any place by the same name so that I believe they are a stand-alone, local spot, which I love to support. The food was good. They also provide chips as well and you can get your own salsa and drink. They have an assortment of beers I understand as well. They are open later as well, and I really like the Chipotle Ranch. The food here was great! It seemed to be very fresh. I always get the burrito bowls when I come to a burrito bar. The only challenge is that sometimes the food doesn't stay warm enough to melt the cheese and it gets cold before you finish eating. At this place, my food stayed warm the entire meal! They had a goat pepper cheese option that I've never had at another burrito bar and it was really good if you like spicy! I'll also add that they have great kids menu- my daughter loved it. The only negative that kept me from giving it five stars is that the temperature of the restaurant was stuffy. You put what ever you want on it with fresh ingredients, then they give you fresh made tortilla chips with fresh in house salsa, the salsa is absolutely phenomenal. I was really excited to see a burrito restaurant in Griffin. Especially one so similar to the style of Moe's. They have a decent selection which is definitely Americanized. They also provide free chips and salsa. There isn't a huge variety of salsas: spicy, mild, and tomatillo salsa. The mild salsa is a bit on the sweet side but still pretty tasty. This selection for beans is pinto beans and black beans. The selection for rice is Mexican rice and white rice. The meat selection is chicken and beef. You can also get veggies. There is no tofu. I'm assuming that is because it does not sell well in Griffin, from what I've been told at another restaurant. They have nachos, tacos, burritos, and taco salads. Most of the prices are from $5.50 to $7.50. Guacamole and queso is extra. Guacamole is not an option for any of the selections so it will always be extra (if I'm not mistaken). The staff is friendly, it is very clean, plenty of seating, and there is an updated soda machine which provides a great selection of beverages. Another great thing is they will grill your burrito at the end for free. Overall, the food is decent and a great price. read more

The food was great. I had a bowl instead of a burrito. Everything had a really good flavor. The staff was very friendly. My only complaint would be the portion size of the bowl. Compared to the burritos being made right next to it, the bowl was a little small. Once they were done making it, the bowl was nowhere close to being full and it left me wanting more. If their portions are based on cost, I would definitely pay more to get more. read more

Amazing place! The food is grade A along with their affordable prices. There isn't much too much to say about the staff, they're noce and they're always willing to answer my questions. I wish they would speak louder because I'm always like "huh?" when they ask me something. Other than that, the business is perfect.
