This time I went with the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries. It's my go-to order when I am here and it never lets me down. The chicken has good flavor and packs the punch of heat you'd expect from a Nashville hot chicken, and the slaw on top of it is the perfect addition to the sandwich. The sides here are all great. I really do love the fries, but the mac salad is also up there in the top choices. Service is quick here and they even have a drive up window which is cool considering it's not really fast food. All in all, this is one of my favorite chicken spots and I will definitely be back for more.

Their cheesecake isn't as good as mine, but mine is absolutely amazing (just saying) and theirs is still pretty good. Food Truck Friday's pisses all over TGI Friday's from a great height, but then who wouldn't, given the chance and vantage point to do so. It's always pretty awesome when they have these food truck festivals in Buffalo. Buffalo is really beginning to be a cool place lately for this kind of event. The problem is the selection of food trucks in this particular city is awfully hipster and is about twice the price of the best trucks in New York City and is absolutely toilet standard. So I can't give them more than four stars but the concept and organization and breadth and scope of this thing is definitely Five Star level.

There is a $5 fee to enter the area, however drinks being only $5 or $6 and considering the live music, the door charge doesn't seem outrageous. I was impressed by the staff they have canvassing the area to pick up trash and empty bottles and cans. They keep the environment tidy and enjoyable. There were plenty of food trucks with a lot of variety on this particular night, but it can vary from week to week. I have attended on occasions when the food lines were overly long also.

I'm a massive fan of all forms of hot dogs, whether it's standard fare like Ted's, or bizarre concoctions like Zunzi in Savannah, Georgia. Frank Gourmet just falls short for me. It did absolutely nothing for me. There was nothing gourmet about it and I didn't particularly enjoy it. I understand that it's making very interesting combinations and it's trying to offer dogs from all over the country. But the LA street dog (wrapped in bacon) tastes nothing like the LA dogs (not even one tenth as good, not even close), and the others have a similar story. I guess I am spoiled. You'd be better spending your money at one of the other downtown food carts, although if you fancy a hot dog there isn't really anything horribly wrong with these dogs either. It's better than Lloyd's Taco Truck. But then that's not saying much.
