I got the single burger, it was amazing. The meat was great, but so was the produce. Nice crunchy lettuce. Also, good service and a very clean bathroom.

Divey little place but the food was good. Tables and chairs were sticky. Not a lot of seating but did see a lot of take out orders. Weird huge bean bag. Interesting.

Just had a great meal at fat shack. It's basically bar food but it's done well. I ordered a munchy platter that had onion rings, chicken tenders, and mozzarella sticks and fried macaroni and cheese balls. I personally judge all fried macaroni and cheese balls against what you get at the cheesecake factory and these are just as good at a fraction of the price. They serve them with marinara sauce. It was really good. Their ranch is good. The service is great. The vibe is kind of a more rock 'n' roll Wingstop vibe but if you're hungry and it's late in Denton, I highly recommend Going to fat shack for munchies. Experience was 10 out of 10.

Cannot believe I paid $12 for this. They robbed me fr and they charged 65¢ for hidden valley ranch. BIG AND GREEDY. Staff was chill tho

The menu got my attention with the catchy names. However, the sandwich was just too much. I know there is supposed to be alot of ingredients but fries, cheese sticks, and poppers just too much. Flavors get lost in the mix. Mac and cheese bites tasted like they were out of a frozen box. If you are hungry you will get full. But not very satisfying.

Just ordered food to go ! Never eaten here before until now and HOLY SHIIIIT! 10/10 recommend!! I'll post the receipt so you see exactly what I got ! THE CHEESECAKE BITES ARE INSANELY GOOD!

    Great view too

I'm gonna be honest, coming here I wasn't expecting too much. That was until I pulled up and placed my order. Just walking in was enough for me to know I found a favorite. I was originally getting a sandwich to-go, but when I actually looked around the back (which includes a giant beanbag), I kinda just felt like sitting down. I'm glad I did, because I've just been sitting here eating a Fat Gorbie and watching a mix of anime and hells kitchen for the past 30 minutes. This place is chill. It's weird to see other reviewers call the people working here waitstaff and service. These guys are dope af.

I've tried Fat Shack a few times, and I'm starting to realize it's just not my kind of place. When they first opened up, it seemed like a dream to me, somewhere I could get fried Oreos at the drop of the hat. However, after a view visits, I'm less enthused. On my first visit I ordered one of the sandwiches that had a million ingredients. I remember it not tasting like much even with a slew of sauces and such. They were also out of batter this visit, so I couldn't partake in my beloved Oreos. Some time passed by, and I decided to have it delivered through DoorDash. I've heard some really great things about the hamburgers, so I opted with a basic cheeseburger. I also decided to get a couple jalapeño cheese poppers- something that can either be really good or just watery and gross. I also ordered some fried Oreos, and got a call about five minutes later that they were out of batter and couldn't fulfill that part of my order (grrrr) It didn't take long at all to get to me, so everything was still piping hot when it arrived. The burger looked very clean, and not sloppy at all like some of the sandwiches. It had some good flavor, but the texture of the patty just wasn't right. It was just gritty and gross, almost like a school hamburger. I'm guessing they just use frozen patties. The jalapeño poppers were also just terribly watery inside, which was very disappointing. I intend to come back in the future to finally obtain the Oreos, and maybe find a sandwich I like. Just a couple of things to note: this is a very sketchy parking lot at night. I've seen people going around cars trying to see if some one left the door unlocked, and have been accosted for some spare change every visit. I would not recommend coming at night. They used to have in house delivery, until the very early hours of the morning, but they have since switched to using doordash and no longer have any of their own delivery drivers. Lastly, both visits I was here they were playing some pretty "interesting" music, complete with quite a bit of profanity. It seems to just be the employees music, but it's so loud it's hard to miss. Just a heads up if your planning on bringing young kids.

My partner in food wanted to try the King Kong against my better judgment. Looking at the photos, it didn't appear conceivable - to make matters worse, he wanted it to go! It came deconstructed. Four HUMONGOUS beef patties and probably a whole pound of bacon and beautifully melted cheddar. The bun was questionable, mostly because it was nowhere near enough bread for all that meat, but I get it, in a challenge situation, I wouldn't want to load up on bread. The patties were well seasoned and firm. I would have preferred medium, but since I was sharing, well done was fine. Not over done and still juicy. It also came with a container full of steak fries! I admittedly put a hurting in the fries, dipping them in the house ranch mixed with the jalapeño ranch. I wanted the fries to be crispier and the ranch to be thicker, but they were delicious nonetheless!! So how much of it did we finish?? I finished one patty with out bread!! My partner finished one and a half patties with sandwich bread. The bun got designated to my leftover patty. Tomorrow's lunch will be a single patty burger with half a pound of bacon!

LSA Burger seems to be a pretty happening spot at 6:00 PM. We sat at the bar and ordered our beers and burgers. Our food was ready within 15 minutes of ordering. The service was 9/10, quality and taste of the burger 10/10. The Waylon burger is actually a classic burger. The bread was so soft but not soggy. The meat patty was so juicy and moist that it had the slightest seasoning and it was still sooooooooo good! They didn't ask how we wanted our burgers so they were cooked medium. Surprisingly it was cooked to perfection and that's coming from someone that likes medium rare. The fries 10/10 great portion and were so fresh with just the right amount of salt and pepper. I loved how they were fried to perfection yet not greasy! The parking situation isn't great during peak time, but we got lucky and had only a short walk! When returning to Denton, LSA Burger will be on our favorites list.

My favorites are the Rooster Tails (fried onions) and the chips and queso, but the real stars of the menu are the burgers. They're always fresh, hot, and juicy. I really miss the Bloody Mary bar, which was always a lot of fun, but their Sunday special makes up for it with a generous double for just $7. There's a full bar on both floors as well. The staff was pretty attentive, but the wait for food took a long time. I was happy the cocktails came pretty quickly and were well-made. The food was all pretty good for the most part not wowed but good! I have no complaints about my plate; it came with a great portion of food and was reasonably priced for BBQ. I ordered pulled pork and a side of corn and tomato salad and coleslaw. The sides were different from what I've had before, but I did enjoy them. Their coleslaw is more vinegar than mayo-forward. The pulled pork was well-seasoned, and the side of BBQ was the perfect match. My margarita tasted as if they made the mix in-house, and I prefer this. Store-bought mixers are usually either too sweet or too sour. However, if it is store-bought, I'm impressed! This was not a sweet margarita. My partner went for the Tennessee Texas Hot Sandwich; I did try it. There was hardly any heat despite it being their spicy chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if they make their chips in house but it seemed so.

Something about this place just gave the vibe that they had good food. Maybe the slightly overgrown parking lot, the fact that there was nobody there, and the building was older. Anyway, I walk in and this random customer asked if I had been there before. I said no, and he said something along the lines of, "You've just stumbled upon a legendary burger joint". Some of the decor was a bit schizophrenic, but in a cool way. There was a car shell mounted to the ceiling, old movie posters everywhere, and a bunch of random decorations on shelves. I just ordered the namesake time machine burger and it was incredible. So good, I ordered a second one. Everyone working was very friendly too and the owner seemed like a really great guy. It's the slightly rundown greasy hole-in-the-wall places like this that always have the best food. I could never recommend it enough. For lunch, I ordered the #9 Love Affair burger combo with sweet potato fries and added a side of onion rings. The sweet potato fries came in a good portion, which I appreciated. The onion rings, though, were $3.99 for only 6 rings, and that did not feel like a good value. The burger patty itself was the perfect thickness and cooked well, but it had almost no flavor on its own. The only real flavor came from the add-ons I chose, which were egg and pineapple jam. Because of that, the overall flavor just did not match the $22 price tag for lunch. Cool local vibe, decent presentation, but for the price, I expected a lot more flavor.

We started at the bar as our reserved table wasn't ready yet. My husband already knew what beer he wanted but I was on the fence. The bartender suggested mixing the two together into what they called a "Fraddy," and it was absolutely perfect! The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful, which is something that seems harder and harder to find these days. They have TVs throughout the restaurant, making it a great place to catch a game, and we especially enjoyed watching the World Cup there. The outdoor patio is spacious and inviting, and I also appreciated that they accept reservations. Bella was an outstanding server who made excellent recommendations for our meal. I'm a pretty picky eater, so the unique ingredient combinations on some of their burgers initially made me a little nervous. My advice? Trust the chef. Unless you have an allergy or a genuine reason to leave something off, order the burger exactly as it's intended. The flavor combinations might sound unusual, but somehow they just work. Every bite is packed with flavor, and the creativity is a huge part of what makes Rodeo Goat so good. One of my favorite things about Rodeo Goat is the Battle Burgers. Every month, two wildly creative burgers go head-to-head, and whichever one sells the most earns the right to stick around and compete again against a new challenger. It's basically burger fight club--and thankfully, nobody talks about burger fight club. I've tried almost everything on the menu, but 99.9% of the time, I find myself ordering one of the Battle Burgers. It keeps things fresh, interesting, and gives me an excuse to try something I probably wouldn't normally order. If you're in the area and looking for an incredible burger, Rodeo Goat should absolutely be your next stop. Come hungry, trust the chef, and prepare to have your definition of a burger expanded.
