We placed an order for our office and clients today and when we opened one of the boxes, we saw that one of our wraps had 2 bites taken out of it. My co-worker went back to complain and didn't even get an apology. She was told the manager packed our order and that wrap was actually the cook's lunch and was put in there by mistake. That's it. Better than I remembered back in the day. They have upgraded from the tired old cafeteria they used to be. Got a smoked Turkey panini with avocado, which was very nice. The chicken pot pie soup was hot and tasty as well. Free ice cream at then end. All in all, a very unexpected pleasure. I guess not all Jason's Delis are created equal. First time eatting at one was the other week at Love Airport when flying out. Had a full Club Royal and it was massive with 3 slices bread like a real club sandwich, and so much meat I could make a whole other sandwich if I wanted to. Had to save half for my layover because I was stuffed. When I got back home from traveling I was craving one again. So I downloaded the app and ordered from my nearest location (this one) which is 15 minutes away/30 min roundtrip, for curbside pick up. This time I decided on a half sandwich because it was so big the last time. When I got home I was sorely disappointed. My sad club sandwich only had two pieces of bread, chintzy meat and lettuce - it tasted fine, just not fabulous like the airport one. And airport food usually sucks. Next time I'll stay local and order a club from one of the many restaurants that offer it within my Lake Cities. Also can't wait to fly out of Dallas Love again. read more

Yeah, they're good enough. For me it just isn't what it used to be... my biggest problem is the meat has come out chewy!!! Maybe and hopefully that's not everyone's experience but just avoid the pastas and and potatoes and stick the sandwiches... those are probably better! I wish I had a better option of this place but it's very middle ground! It's good enough but since it lost the integrity of the California club(sandwich); it's lost my loyalty Otherwise you get some stuff between bread, or put on top of a potato, or even a pathetic pasta! The food was good - while eating we watched the staff. So unprofessional. The girl that seemed to be running the drive though (G) specifically - more interested in the boys than the job. We left after watching a man in a red (not jason's deli shirt) with no name tag, talk on his cell phone and go right back to making food without changing gloves. read more

For a good basic New York style deli you can't go wrong with Jason's. Always consistent, always ample portions (their sandwiches are about 1-1.5 inches thick) and they have a nice selection at the salad bar as well. Don't forget to get a free ice cream cone when you are finished with lunch or dinner as well. read more

Sigh, hello old friend, it's been too long... how are you? The family? You look good! Yes, that was my inner monologue this afternoon. I used to work nearby and I would frequent this place all the time. It's been over a year since I've even stopped in, kind of depressing, because this is a solid place to get lunch and Lord knows I've had some crappy food in that time. I used to always call in orders and this place has always been fast. I really like their pick up window, but they also have their own to go parking and entrance if you prefer. This was actually the first time I dined in, the store was very clean and there was plenty of seating despite the mid afternoon crowd. One person was dedicated to the front counter and one to the pick up window, so I ended up waiting about 4 or 5 minutes to place my order, but nothing too bad. I decided to get their Garden Salad Bar for $7.99 and some tap water, which was free and received my receipt and tray immediately. I noticed that their dessert cooler was empty and asked about it. Apparently the cooler is out, so they are in one behind the counter. I think they should be upselling because if it's out of sight, it's out of mind... unless you're me. You really have to get their Strawberry Shortcake for $3.29, it's really delicious. I get it every time. Fresh strawberries, whipped cream and such moist, delicious cake.... I don't care if they offer cookies with and without gluten, you need to get the shortcake- trust me, I don't lie about desserts. It's a good size for the price too, I tend to graze on it throughout the afternoon. Anyway, the salad bar was pretty good. I think the salad and toppings are the way to go, while the sides leave a bit to be desired at times. There are three types of lettuce that all looked fresh and I like the large selection of dressings, as well as those yummy crunchy toppings- croutons, toasted garlic chips, nuts, seeds, etc. I'm a fan of those and the other veggies were pretty fresh as well- I especially liked the cucumbers and artichokes. Some of the sides were spot on, like the pasta salad and coleslaw. The potato salad was a little off, the potatoes weren't that soft. They had several corn mixes and while the corn was good, the beans were kind of hard. Overall, a pretty solid offering though. Don't forget the mini muffins at the end.... soooo good! I love that corn muffin, so moist and flavorful, but so tiny! I thought the other one was chocolate, but it was clearly cinnamon and was a nice sweet note to end the meal on.... but don't skip out on the shortcake! I can also say this location delivers well on baked potatoes and pasta dishes really consistently. The place had a lot of customers just after 2:30pm in the afternoon and I recognized some of my standby dishes at the various tables and they still looked good! I've had a couple of sandwiches here as well that were better than some of the pricey cafés in the area. This is a good option for a healthier lunch that's both reasonably fast and affordable. I was really only eating a salad to make my doctor happy, but it was good and I recommend this location! read more

Very poor customer service. Manager accused me of lying on my order. I know exactly what I order due to my dietary needs. I will never go back to this location. When he attempted to fix things with my salad, he kept reinforcing the fact that I had ordered incorrectly, instead of just fixing what was wrong. Bad management!!!! read more

This is no frills deli and has been around for a very long time. The kids always want to go for the free ice cram. But, it's crappy. Kids don't care. So that's a win, I guess. The food is pretty good but nothing amazing. The prices are reasonable for what you get. The salad bar is well stocked and fresh. I go here quite a bit. My expectations are pretty low. This was our first visit to this location and we will definitely be back. The food was hot and what you expect from Jason's Deli. I got chili with cheese and a Plain Jane Baked Potato which is always a winner in my book. Hubby got the Pollo Mexicano Potato and a cup of the Broccoli and Cheese Soup. Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Hubby was impressed with the flavor of the soft serve ice-cream which is always a great price at free.
