Came here for Taco Tuesday and it seemed like the outdoor seating was full but inside seating wasn't, which was fine. But the service was quite slow. There was a 25 minute difference between my drink and my friend's drink coming out despite us ordering it at the same time. You order via QR code scan but then there are things that aren't in that menu and you have to flag down a server to order and it was just a bit disjointed and not cohesive. The tacos were great, so was the guacamole and the street corn. We had the choco tacos for dessert which were enormous. I was excited about the carajillo since I love that cocktail and this was a little mediocre. The other cocktails were great. All in all, would probably try them again and hope that the service is a little more put together. read more

My wife and I went here for brunch yesterday right when the restaurant opened. This was our first time here, we found this place off of Tiktok. To say I was highly impressed with this place is an understatement. They have a QR code for you to scan at your table and you place all your food and drink orders through there and your waiter brings everything to you once it is ready. I love the concept of this and feel like more restaurants should do this. My wife got the birria quesadilla and I got the breakfast tacos and breakfast quesadilla. The food was absolutely amazing, 10 out of 10! Everything was so delicious. They also had a special going for $2 mimosas and $10 mimosa buckets. We went on Cinco De Mayo, so there was a special menu. (Food was priced up a few dollars, which was understandable; there was a 2 hour limit; and $6 drink specials!) The best birira I've ever had, but the consume lacked spice-- still AMAZING though just add some hot sauce! The Jack fruit tacos were also portioned and full of flavor. This is a good spot to go to with a group of friends if you're looking for a fun time and decent food. They usually have a live DJ, bright lights, and always a lively atmosphere every time I have been. I have previously tried their margarita flights and their taco platters than can feed up to 3! These are definitely the best bang for your buck because you can try 4 different margarita flavors and up to 3 different types of tacos. This past weekend, I tried out their brunch menu and we ordered their guac & chips, birria tacos, and birria quesadillas. The guac tasted so fresh and was topped with a charred jalapeno. My only critique for the birria tacos and quesadillas is the meat was a bit more chewy than I would like. I found myself picking out some of the meat since it was a lot to chew. But overall the flavor was great. The drinks are on the stronger side in my opinion but they are always great! We got the guava rum bucket and margarita flights again, which are always a hit! The DJ and music were great as well! I always find myself coming here with friends to start a good night out and its definitely a spot I keep coming back to. Really hope this place does well. Came here after the hoboken wellness crawl. The tacos were good the drinks were were good and apparently they turn into a night club at night. The music was exactly what I wanted at the time. 5pm on a Sunday evening it's the place to be. By husband and friend got birria stuff (quesadilla and tacos) and I for a chicken and shrimp taco. We were all satisfied. The birria soup was delicious. We also got the queso fundido. Definitely recommend. I got the chinos lola and I really appreciated that it was refreshing without being too sweet or overpowering. My friend for a sangria and the hubby for the margarita flight. Sooooo, I've finally made it to Fat taco to try their Birria Tacos! It was...ok. Of all the places I've tried Birria at, this falls somewhere close to the middle! The customer service is amazing! The place is very clean and the vibrations are HIGH! Lol so if you're looking for a neutral or calm setting this is not it. The manager came over and introduced himself to me and welcomed me. That was nice. I told him I've been trying to eat here forever and once came on a Tuesday but they were closed. He told me in a few weeks they will be back open on Tuesdays. Butt to rate the food! Here it is, The Birria Tacos were ok. I'd give them a 3.7 out of 5. I don't know what it was, but it was kissing something. Taste good, but kissing a little soul and something else. The consommé was good, but still missing that little kick. I prefer to eat my birria tacos with guacamole and pico de gallo, so I paired these two with the tacos and consommé and it helped some, but yet I can't put my finger on what it was missing. They were NOT NASTY, but they just were BUSSIN BUSSIN. The Birria Mac n cheese, it was ok. A bit oily but ok. But I don't know about that cheee though. The menu says it has a mix of different cheeses but it was wayyyyyyyy creamy and gave me either canned cheese or velvets vibes. But def not all the cheeses listed in the menu. I took my Mac n cheese to go because the tacos had me full quick (I saved my appetite for these). The cranberry juice was cranberry juice lol. Now their guacamole was yummers, I don't know what they mixed with that but it was different here than any other place I've been. The place is a smedium size. Not too big not too small. I don't cRe for the chairs though. Not much back support at all. They're actually stools with a chair backing that comes just above your butt. I feel as though plus size individuals of a certain size may not comfortably be able to eat her on the inside. I think the outside had regular chars and tables, but inside was tall tables and stools and the chairs I just explained. Thankfully they accept Apple Pay! And very pleasant and friendly here. Went here as part of a bar crawl pride event, and enjoyed our food. Food: The nachos were really good and had more than enough toppings. I am vegetarian, and wasn't blown away by the food - I got the bang bang cauliflower and jack fruit tacos. Both items were on the dry side - cauliflower not enough sauce on top, and tacos had no sauce. We asked for more sauce for the cauliflower, and they said it would be an up charge - but after some conversation, they took it off the bill. Our friends really enjoyed the birria quesadilla though! Service - you order your food/drinks through your phone and items will come out as you order them, which made ordering pretty easy. You are given menus but you have to order from a QR code and had to pay via Apple Pay. There was no apparent work around for this payment option. The drinks and food come out pretty quickly and your server lets you know they're available but it's hard to get their attention and let them know you're missing basic things like utensils, syrup and butter. The deejay was fantastic and played music according to what people were responding to. They had great brunch deals - $2 mimosas. I loved this place so much! I'm already planning my next time coming but for brunch. I mentioned this place to my friend so we decided to meet up. Luckily she got there before I did and we were seated immediately. The waiters did take a while to tend to us. We both wanted the bucket drink so we decided to share and ordered the sand bucket which had edible glitter and an ice pop. It was so good, strong yet tasty and the glitter and Ice pop was a great touch. My friend ordered tacos and was able to mix and match 1 shrimp and 2 steaks and I ordered the Birria tacos. Food came out at a fairly decent time. We were not a fan of the steak tacos, they could have added more flavor. The shrimp and the Birria tacos were awesome!
