While the frozen drinks are unique, strong and delicious, one extremely disappointing experience has left me no choice but to never enter this place again. After all of my friends drinking and spending money at the bar, we left and came back 15 min later and the new bouncer refused to let a friend of mine in because he was "swaying". He then kicked another girl out for asking why he was not let in, and told another guy that he "was next". The bouncer was instigating arguments and threatened to fight another member of the group. It is his job to diffuse situations like these, not make them worse. It is the right of an establishment to refuse service, but the way in which this situation was handled was not only immature but also dangerous and could have led to even more damage. If the bouncer was trying to make the establishment a safer place, he would not have tried to start a fight with people he claimed to be over-intoxicated (common sense?). His ego, however, got in the way and made him think he could do whatever he wanted. If this employee had not been in the picture I would be happy to rate this bar 3 or 4 stars easily, but none of us have ever been treated like this before at a bar in any state, let alone the tourist destination Myrtle Beach is. Our families have been coming to Myrtle Beach for over 20 years and plan to continue to visit, but it is safe to say that we will NOT be coming back to Fat Tuesdays. read more

My favorite happy hour/ any hour bar to come to while visiting S.C. All of the drinks are great. The texture is smooth yet very cold. Resembles an icy polish waterice with lots of alcohol. The bartenders let you try as many samples and even mix flavors together. They are reasonably priced and you can choose to drink in or out under umbrellas. No food at this place so bring some pretzels because with the $1 tube of everclear that add extra fun is sure to help you along during a family vacation! read more

We used to have a Fat Tuesday in Baltimore and man have I missed it. I actually had no idea they were still around until when planning our Myrtle Beach vacation I found out there was one at Broadway on the Beach. Our first night in town we headed right out to check it out and were pleasantly surprised to find out the small frozen drinks were only $3.50 for Happy Hour (which they have every single day nonetheless), floaters and Fireball tooters were only $1 also. Pat and Michele were our bartenders the first night we were there and they were absolutely a blast to chat with, really made us feel welcome. We had so much fun the first night we went back the next evening to check out more of Broadway on the Beach and to take advantage of their happy hour again before the madness of the weekend started up. D was our first bartender, extremely friendly and personable, we could have chatted with him for hours but he was getting off before having to pull another shift in a couple hours and his replacement was Moe. Moe at first seemed a bit standoffish but the more we interacted with him he just seemed to be a little on the shy side perhaps but overall the other 3 were our absolute favorites and a great fit for Fat Tuesday. All of the frozen options are great but my favorites are 190 Octane, 44 Magnum and Hurricanes, all with the Everclear Topper, they're definitely not your mother's daiquiri, you will feel these babies. Counting the days till next year's vacation which will be much longer than this one to allow for more Fat Tuesday Happy Hours. read more

I will not be returning to Fat Tuesday Myrtle after the experience we had last night. My fiancé and I had a table on the patio with two extra seats reserved for another couple that was soon joining us. The bouncer outside walked up to us and said, "I need this chair". I went to say that it was reserved for a couple that was soon joining us and before I could, he JERKED the chair up and walked away. Needless to say, soon after he had taken the chair, the couple walked up and instead of spending our night and money enjoying Fat Tuesday and the great atmosphere there, we chose to take our business elsewhere. I didn't mind at all that the chair was needed for a customer that may have already been there but I didn't appreciate being treated that way nor feeling like my support of this business wasn't appreciated. I am sure it was assumed that I was young and on vacation so he didn't care much about my business. As a local (27 years) and a medical professional, I was extremely offended by how my fiancé and I were treated but more over, how an assumed "vacationer" would have been treated by our community. While the drinks were great and while I have enjoyed coming to Fat Tuesday since the establishment opened in Myrtle Beach, I'd like it known that last night was my very last time. There is no frozen drink good enough to replace how you are treated by an employee of a business you choose to support. read more

Came here for drinks with my boyfriend but I forgot my wallet. I freaked out for 2 days because I'm on vacation and my wallet has everything in it. Anyway, 2 days later I get a call from my dealership saying a man has my wallet at Fat Tuesdays. Fin found my wallet and did what he could to get in touch with me, he didn't take the reward for finding it either. Fin was definitely the nicest guy we met here in South Carolina. We came back that night for another drink when more people were there. It was crowded, but still was able to get a drink in 5-7 minutes. NO COVER CHARGE! They should turn up the music or get a DJ. They could easily be the hot spot on the weekend, since it is already in a good location and everyone goes there. read more

This place isnt too bad. They have great frozen drinks that will put you on your butt if you're not careful. They always have $1 Miller High Lifes and Busch Lights. The jukebox has some great tunes on it as well. It gets pretty packed on the weekends and there is no cover charge. read more

When we asked the "bartender" what her favorite flavor was, she said "tequila" and was not helpful at all in selecting a flavor. It was unlike any daiquiri bar experience I have ever had. She continued to be rude when we finally tentatively ordered flavors and didn't get the extra shot (since she was being so nice to us and we were really looking forward to spending time drinking there) but saying under her breath to a coworker that we didn't order shots because we were "wusses" We went to drink elsewhere. So, when I go to Myrtle Beach, I am always excited for the pleasant attitudes over frozen drinks. Fat Tuesday's is even easier! Miami Vice is my favorite menu option. I have never gotten an extra shot because usually 2 Miami Vices are enough for me! This place is the second stop on the Tuesday Pub Crawl, which we have done several times. It's a good time!
