Fat burger was one of my favorite places for a burger in the 80's. After ordering from Fatburger Pasadena, it probably deserves to fade away. Food is still tasty or at least I imagine it would be if they could get an order right. Ordered a burger with only grilled onions, chili and bacon. Got one with everything on it. Ordered a chili cheese fry with the chili and cheese on the side so it doesn't get soggy. All on the fires. Ordered a cheeseburger with Swiss and no mayo. Got one with American cheese and slathered in mayo. If their employees don't care, it's not a place I'm going to support and definitely wouldn't recommend. Came for the impossible burger after at least 10 years of not stepping into a Fatburger. Had it on a wheat bun w all toppings. Very similar to a "real" burger, I was even given a little pin for purchasing! has a salty taste just like i remember and loads of texture! Viva plant based foods! In a place like LA where you can get excellent cheap burgers of the likes of In and Out, Shake Shack, and 5 guys I don't understand fatburger... it's really not good. Burger bun is too greasy and the fries and onion rings were just not good. read more

The lady at counter greeted us when we arrivedZ. Love that there are two TVs so parents can watch Horrible Bosses while kids watch Star Wars. Love that you can have fat fries or skinny fries. Love that you can customize your drinks and get PBR ice cold. Only 3 stars because the prices are crazy high. Most burgers are more than $6 and for that I'd rather go to a gastropub. My skinny burger had a moth ball taste to it and made me wish I got the protein wrap burger at in n out. I've always been curious to try this place. Now that I have I'll go back to in n out -- unless it's a Sunday night and I want to have a beer and burger with friends and there's no gastropub nearby. I go to fatburgers when I have craving for more flavorful burgers, and they satisfy my craving. I've only been to this location once because I live in southbay, but I'm giving it 5 stars because this location is very clean, staffs were very friendly, and they have reasonably priced menu and have decent selection of beers. So I could say this is the best fatburger location I've ever been to. I wish ones in my neighborhood is like this location. read more

Edit: Still food poisoned after 24 hours.... Ordered a western burger. Their patty meat is extremely over-seasoned and burnt. BBQ sauce was watery and did not taste right. Also got a side of chili cheese fries. Chili tasted like it's been sitting there for a while--also a really off putting flavor. Sitting here 6 hours later feeling like a got a mild case of food poisoning... Go to Panda Express nextdoor.... or if you want a burger go to Chick fil A. read more

I used to love the turkey burger here, but since I don't eat meat anymore and haven't had it in over ten years I can't comment. I came here the other day to try the impossible burger. Meh. $9!!!! For a veggie burger! NO WAY! And thumbs down. I haven't had the impossible burger before, but I found the flavor to be forgettable. Plus I didn't see the price of the impossible burger posted anywhere. Maybe because they just started serving it? The three stars are for the restaurant. It was decently clean, service was relatively quick, the employees were pleasant enough, and the food presentation was quite nice. Unfortunately, I have a big problem with paying ~$15 for a fast food meal. For what you get, it is very overpriced. This isn't so much of a location/staff issue as an issue with Fatburger as a whole. I saw this place under construction several months ago and really as soon as I see a place associated with burgers I am hooked in. I finally tried it today and was very pleased with the food I tried! Not only this but they greet guests, bring the food to you and have accessible banana peppers, wet wipes and the cool coca cola machine with many selections. I tried the western bacon bbq burger and enjoyed every single bite and like any good food I was sad when it came to an end. The onion rings in the burger were very tasty as well. I also ordered fat fries on the side and while at first i thought it was a tad over priced, take a look at my pictures and see why. They're quite substantial! Overall I am happy to have tried this place and was not disappointed. I would rank it along the lines of Islands and Doghaus good. I was waiting in line to order, when an employee came through the front door and rushed past the line and into the kitchen. She had something in her hand which she handed to another employee in the kitchen. She then proceeded to handle the frozen french fries that were in a scale next to the fryer without washing her hands, or using gloves!!! After she just came from somewhere outside the restaurant. She was grabbing the fries by the fist-fulls, and putting them into the fry basket. Disgusting!! I asked the cashier if I could speak to the manager, and she pointed to that same employee who was the manager!!! No, I ordered a fatburger and sweet potato fries... Yes, this was the right choice. Great juicy burger, and fries. The taste was great but the price are a little bit high compare with other burger store.

Surprisingly really good. Not super greasy as you might expect. they have wings at this fatburger, which I was not expecting - and they come in about six different flavors. I got the Terriaki and medium buffalo flavors of wings and they were really good too, though you may consider if you order the wings to ask them to be cooked well done. Turkey burger tasted like a real meat burger and it didn't have that gaming is that sometimes turkey burgers have. Also, the servers there were really really nice and they have a screen that shows you your order which is really nice so you can make sure that they got it right. My only downside is that for six wings and a turkey burger I spent $16. read more

I love Fat Burger in general. The burger is 10X better than In N Out, Shake Shack, etc. I went for the XXXL Challenge. The 1.5lb burger challenge. Even with that amount of meat the burger was spot on. I love the char on the burger as well which didn't make the burger over cooked. The burger was juicy and it held up pretty well till the end. I have been to Fatburger on numerous occasions and I must say that even little garnishes or minor toppings have an extra cost. It's also quite disappointing that there's barely any seating area and I wish that there would be more especially when it gets busy. Despite these two negative things, the burgers are just amazing, which justifies the difference in price between Fatburger and places such as Burger King or Jack in the Box. I have always been a fan of Fatburger and I will continue to support them every time, even the simplest menu items (for instance the double cheeseburger) are delicious. First Fatburger visit ever. The burgers were good and well seasoned. There was barely any cheese on any of our burgers (-1 star). Next time, and there will be a next time, think we'll have them hold back on many of the condiments. The burgers were definitely good, but it was difficult to taste through the overwhelming mustard and relish flavors. Fries were good - nothing special, just the average fry. There wonderful, I had a burger combination and in bone wings both were great and they do have Delivery if you use Uber Eats, Best Wings I think I've ever had Ever!!!!! Burger was great, best one I've had since moving back to Pasadena a few years ago. You won't be disappointed, something with flavor for a change.
