Went today, located at 222 5th Ave in BayShore, first driveway parking lot just south Sunrise Hwy. It's a small red trailer with food that is the bomb. Vinny is the GOAT. I had the Classic burger and it is fantastic. Nothing that I had before tastes anywhere near this. I am in love. The beef mixture, the thick bacon, the jammy onions, the crispy pickles, cheese and Fatty sauce where the perfect balance of nirvana. We also tried the fried Chicken sandwich made with so many tenders that they couldn't fit under the bun. HE MAKES ALL HIS BUNS FRESH EVERYDAY! The sandwiches come with a huge bag of french fries and chips with the perfect amount of salt which were deep fried in beef tallow, yum. He also experiments with off menu items like homemade fried stuffed "cheeseburger ravioli, homemade cookies and doggy treats. We'll be back again. I didn't believe my eyes. I saw French fries and potato chips being cut and sliced from real potatoes right in front of me. They were delicious. Especially with the special sauce. The service was great. It's nice to see a Chef that loves what he is doing My burger was perfect The bacon was outstanding the sauce and meat were vey tasty. They have som picnic tables to eat at. This place is a must try! The love and care put into each burger is phenomenal. Definitely a head above the rest when it comes to burgers! The fries and chips - freshly sliced. The burgers - prime. The buns - homemade. And the owner's love for what he's doing - infectious. Prices can't be beat. Easy to get to - it's a food truck right off Sunrise on 5th Ave in Bay Shore. It was a hot Summer day and I was hankering for a burger. I didn't want to settle for the average one so I got to looking for something special which landed me here at Fatty-T's. Operating out of a trailer named after his departed dog Tyson, the sole owner Vinny is pumping out fresh made burgers with in-house potato brioche rolls, a special prime beef blend along with sides of crispy hand-cut fries and chips cooked in beef tallow. I opted for the classic combo to get a feel for the burgers here and dang was it good. The beef blend itself is quite flavorful and more complex than your standard one. The toppings also add so much to this. It was oniony, zingy, a little sweet, and a little salty. Also the buns! They are so soft and topped with sesame seeds how they should be. Something that struck me was how the burgers come with fries and chips. I thought maybe he meant pickle chips but no, housemade potato chips. They were stellar. The fries were crisp and seasoned very well while the chips had a glasslike crisp with the same seasoning. I had to throw some on my burger which bumped it up yet another notch. To wrap things up can we talk about the price? A $10 burger and fry combo is hard to come by these days especially one of this quality. FANTASTIC burger! I tried the Classic, as is, and it did not disappoint. The owner is so friendly and proud of the care he puts into everything. There were a ton of homemade goodies, donuts, chocolate chip cookies, potato chips, fresh cut fries and even the burger buns! Everything was top notch. This is a food truck so be prepared to take your order to go or eat it in the car. There is a picnic table for a nice day. As those who follow me know im not doing so hot. Still very ill but able to eat once a week or so. So today i made the trip to Fatty T's. What a great place. They were BUSY. Good for them. Vinnie was beyond nice and there was a wait so i went to the store and came back. I got the basic burger no cheese no onion and FF/Chips and water. $11. How can you beat that? You need to put out a tip jar Vin!!! I divided it up into 3 portions and will eat it a little at a time. It was so good. I have to go slow and take my time but so worth it. Went today for the first time. The burgers were excellent. Full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The French fries and homemade chips were also delicious. Prices were reasonable as well. Super juicy and flavorful prime quarter pound bacon cheeseburger with a huge bag of perfectly cooked and seasoned hand cut french fries all for $10- will be tearing everyone I know, no reason to go to Villager, Changing Times etc to get my burger fix anymore. What Five Guys wishes it could be. Burgers are huge and flavorful, requiring many napkins. Chips and fries (you get both) are nice and crispy, yet still toothsome. Donuts for dessert are delicious. I had searched for burgers near me and Fatty T's came up and had fantastic reviews and was very reasonably priced so I decided to give it a try and man I was NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!! First, Vinny was so nice and genuinely seemed grateful to have customers! I had the Fattest Stack Burger (don't judge) and not only was it amazingly delicious but the fries were fantastic also and I didn't eat until I got home and everything was still hot and finger-licking good!! And even though the fries were included he didn't skimp on them at all!!! I would come back just for the food but then you factor in that he only charges $16....next time I'm bringing my teenagers because it's the Best Deal In Town!!! read more
