This place was pretty good...the seafood nachos are to die for. Save yourself the time by exploring the menu for a good appetizer and order them...thanks me later. The food as me and my family can tell was made fresh to order and was very delicious. Very clean place and peaceful environment. OMG!!! This was worse experience ive ever had in a restaurant in my life. We get in and we were sat by the back. While we were waiting for our food the owners were having a private meeting in the party room. While they were enjoying the private party they had they're unattended children playing in the back of the restaurant, who looked to be between 7-13. They were being super loud and throwing buckets around. They ran by our table several times and kept hitting our table and and hit my son inlaw several times. The final straw is when they knocked over a portable wall and missed my head by a few inches. The sound of the wall hitting the floor sounded like a gun shot. We told the server this was completely unacceptable and they moved us to the other side of the restaurant. After the party the owners came out being even louder than the kids. They never once came to apologize for the inconvenience at all! I will definitely never spend my hard earned money here again. read more

I really wanted some boiled seafood so we took a chance and decided to try this spot. It was my husband and myself and 2 of our children. Our server was excellent, friendly and attentive. I got the fatty plater which was 2 kinds of crab legs, and shrimp. It was so good! My husband got an array of things and everything he had was excellent as well. Went for a late dinner. The oyster artichoke soup was delicious! Seafood platter fried perfectly. bacon wrap shrimp jalapeño poppers were ok but lacked flavor. Had the opportunity to dine in while visiting a friend nearby. We tried the spinach and artichoke dip( they fry their own chips), corn and crab bisque, full shrimp poboy, and Dungeness crab. I actually did not think the spinach nor crab and corn bisque was seasoned or had the nola flavor. I didn't like the fried chips it tasted like wontons. I was informed of the all you can eat catfish and shrimp deal and had to give it a shot. While ordering I was impressed to hear that there was a blackened option for both the fish and shrimp at the same price. We ordered both the grilled option and the fried to enjoy the best of both worlds. With the grilled option, I was able to get grilled vegetables instead of fries for no additional cost which was also impressive. The grilled fish and shrimp were absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection. The fried seafood was good but not impressive. There is much better fried seafood places around but, it wasn't "bad", just average. The service was great, our waitress was attentive and very friendly. I can see the parking lot getting packed on busy days and nights but it was just fine on a Tuesday night. I had tried Fatty's when they opened in Slidell. I decided it was pricy mediocre food. I recently received a BOGO offer and decided to give it another try. I was informed by the waitress that it only applied to sandwiches, 1/2 poboys, and pasta plates. It seems to me that if you're trying to increase business you'd open the offer to everything on the menu, especially "signature entrees," and not the run of the mill fare. The service was barely okay. With that being said, I decided on the Crawfish Alfredeaux. It was bland and flavorless; the fettuccine was not fully cooked. The stuffed shrimp was decent. The whiskey sauce for the bread pudding was really good. Cons - Food was just ok. It was really nothing to write home about or to want to come back. I ordered the Cap N Fattys and it was kind of mediocre. It was all deep fried which wasn't bad at all. However the soft shell crab was rubbery, the French fries were cold, and the oysters were chewy. I ordered a cluster of snow crab legs and they came out missing legs and black. The second batch that came out was better. The bread pudding itself was really mushy but flavor was ok.
