I was not having high hopes for fattys as it's mainly fried food; but they pleasantly surprised me with their grilled buffalo chicken wrap! The chicken was grilled perfectly while being tender and juicy. The wrap was missing the buffalo sauce which they brought in the side; that worked out better to dip in! I'd give this place like a 3/3.5. Went this past Saturday as an early Mother's Day outing. It wasn't packed so we were seated quickly. We had to move to another booth because there was water dripping from the ceiling and it fell on me twice. While it is a seafood restaurant I have to warn you about the amount of flies! Like omg I felt like we were swatting them away the whole time we were there which was very aggravating. We decided to order crawfish bread for appetizer. It was decent, but it wasn't hot (I don't think it cooked long enough) and I wasn't a fan of the way the crawfish looked (they were dark) wouldn't order if I went again. My mom got the chicken breast plate, I got the crab trap (substituted the etoufee for cream sauce), my dad had the redfish, and my grandma ordered the seafood napoleon (she got her sauce on the side). My mother and I enjoyed our meals. My grandma felt like her eggplant could've been seasoned more. My father thought his fish was kind of dry and wasn't a fan of the macaroni. As you can see it was a thick/hard layer of cheese on the top and he felt it lacked flavor. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. We have been here several times and have always had a nice time. The restaurant is clean and very modern. High ceiling and hard surfaces make it echo-ey so it gets loud when it is busy. The food is very high quality and fresh. They have the usual old favorites, fried seafood, po-boys, etc. but also some unique menu items. I had a peanut butter & jelly burger here one time! (Don't laugh it's not as weird as it sounds!) The food is kind of pricey but it's seafood and it's worth it. Today I had the Pistol Pete wrap and it came with a big pile of waffle fries - probably an entire potato's worth. They have a great selection of beers on tap. Our server was friendly and attentive. The lunch menu has items that are not on the regular menu. No descriptions, just a list of items. We asked about several and our server was able to describe them all in great detail. I was impressed with her, but overall the service was slow based on the small lunch crowd that was there. We have been several times now and will keep going back. read more

This was my third time giving this place a chance -- and definitely my last. I really wanted to like it, but once again, the food was far from impressive. We ordered two 1/2 seafood platters, which were underwhelming to say the least. Each platter came with one piece of fish cut into three strips, four shrimp, two hush puppies, and a mountain of fries. The portion balance felt off -- way too many fries compared to the actual seafood. For the price, I expected more substance and better quality. I also decided to try their "hot boil" crawfish special. Unfortunately, it was clearly steamed rather than properly boiled, and it lacked real seasoning. The only flavors that came through were garlic and cayenne pepper. The crawfish tasted like dirty water, and I couldn't eat more than one. It was extremely disappointing. My husband ordered the boiled shrimp, which again seemed steamed in garlic rather than seasoned in a true boil. To be fair, the shrimp were cooked perfectly -- tender and not overdone -- but they were missing that bold, flavorful kick you expect from a seafood boil. To add to the frustration, the waiter told us the boil included corn, sausage, and potatoes, but there was no sausage included at all. Overall, the experience just didn't meet expectations. After three attempts, I can confidently say we won't be returning. read more

The food was overcooked. However, my bill had a credit charge tax after the bill was tallied. Add the fee to the price of the meal and post that there is a service tax for credit card payments. Mediocre service the waitress left to get napkins and only returned 10 minutes later after I requested napkins from another server. We will not return I am used to better service and food. The restaurants I choose put there sneaky fee in writing and don't try to re-total the bill after fact. Poor practice people don't appreciate being cheated. If you accept credit cards suck up the fee! read more

My experience here was a solid average . The floor was sticky which is a huge turn off , but the delicious cherry cocktail turned my frown upside down . first off I would like say that our server was great and no complaints there however the fact that 3 of the 5 adults in our party were all greatly disappointed with their food says something, we all 3 ordered a shrimp salad and this is a basic thing to make .. the shrimp was resembling microwaved rubber textured not even any salt or seasoning and a wilted pathetic salad sprinkled with orange cheese. We got 2 of the 3lb crawfish trays plus the extra $5 each for ONE corn and TWO potatoes. Also got an order of crab cakes. We ended up paying over $50 for the whole order. The crawfish were dirty, unseasoned, and a lot of them were dead. the crab cakes tasted like they weren't fresh. We returned the entire order and got a full refund.
