I would save your time and go elsewhere. Unbelievably poor service from start to finish. I had a prepaid appointment and stood in line for 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. A routine visit took an extra hour because they lost my paperwork, and then they made me wait even longer claiming the car was "in the car wash." When I finally got my vehicle back, it hadn't been washed at all. To top it off, the inspection sticker was slapped on over dirty glue residue with Sharpie scribbled across it. Chuck the salesman tried to make me pay taxes for PA and Nj while trying to negotiate our deal. he also used bait and switch tactics to add an additional 700.00 into the deal that he never revealed . He literally , and I mean literally tried to steal money from me without me knowing . Thankfully I was very well prepared and knew all of the data and numbers before arriving. Extended warranty, inspection, oil change, I contacted this dealership on 8/28 asking when does my extended warranty expire, he stated 8/26. The sales rep was helpful to provided a quote for another extended warranty, but it appeared to be too expensive, regardless if I wanted to extend, I need the car inspected, but one thing stuck with me, unfortunately we don't contact our customers prior to the warranty expiring, not sure where the customer service is there. Day of service, checking in I made the advisor know about the emissions, that I should not have to pay, his comment, we will see. Few hours later, a different advisors calls, let's remember my extended warranty has expired, now I need all this work done in order to pass inspection, how convenient my car has only 40k miles and it's a 2017. When he stated the emissions as a charge I asked why, and he never mentioned it has to be done on the exact day of my previous year. Since neither advisors made me aware of this I could have come back to complete the emissions and not have to pay. I really wanted to give this dealership the benefit of the doubt that they don't take advantage of women, but they are no different. I purchased a pickup truck at Faulkner Buick GMC Feasterville-Trevose on 9/24/20. It was far from my house, but they had the vehicle I wanted for a decent price. All the salespeople, managers, and finance people were very respectful. I had to work with 2 salespeople due to one being on their day off the day I came in, and then returning the following day when I picked the car. I also had to work with both the new car manager and used car manager. Unfortunately, on the day I picked up the vehicle, it had to be in the service department for a few hours which resulted in me being there for a few hours, and not being able to inspect the vehicle before the service department closed that day at 5:00pm. When the salesperson notified me the vehicle was ready just before 5:00pm, the car was dirty, unpresentable really for such an expensive car. I notified the salesperson that the car would need to be cleaned before I could take delivery, pointed out the flaws, and he drove it back to the detailing shop. 30 minutes later, he returned and handed me the keys. He said the detailing shop went over it again. I had run out of time that day after being there for almost 4 hours to pick up the car, and I drove it home. When I got home I put my belongings back in the car, and to my surprise, THE CAR WAS STILL DISGUTING. Take a look at the attached pictures and decide for yourself if that is how you would want to drive home after purchasing a new car. There were spilled drinks in the cupholders and door panels, dark stains and food on the seat, a mark on the headliner, and scuffs all over the exterior of the car. I immediately emailed the salesperson and notified him that the condition of the vehicle was unacceptable, the same day I drove it home. The following day, he and the used car manager called me back and said there is nothing they can do, and that customers should take care of this before delivery. Recall I told the salesperson before delivery already and he said the car was good to go. I spent the following evening cleaning the car myself, and fixing all the other problems they had sold the car with, like a missing piece on the glovebox and a bent sidestep/running board. It took me hours to clean and recondition it, something the dealer said they had already done. It doesn't make sense to me why Faulkner GMC would not add a happy customer to their portfolio, and offer me a rebate to get my car detailed, or make the situation right in some other way. I would have been genuinely impressed and written a much different review if they had immediately called me back, eager to make make the situation right. These guys are crooks. Took my truck there for an inspection, oil change, and tire rotation only because it is right around the corner from my work. Failed my inspection because of front ball joints. (I've driven a lot of trucks with bad ball joints over the years) Took my truck to my regular mechanic (been in business forever and very trustworthy) who told me absolutely no play on one side and very very slight on the other. Nothing that would require a failed inspection. $899 for ball joints and $99 for an alignment after ball joints is outrageous and even more so since it wasn't even needed. I have purchased new vehicles from three dealerships prior to Faulkner. With every dealer prior to this I've dealt with anything from broken promises to just flat out lies. I purchased a Buick Encore from Faulkner two weeks ago. While there was some of the haggling that I wish I could avoid, that's just part of the game and they have to try to make their money so I get it. The initial impression I got was that it was a good dealership and fairly easy purchasing process. Still, the car I wanted didn't have the remote start I desired, and they promised they'd put it in after the fact. I purchased on a Friday and was met Monday morning with a thank you email from my salesperson Connie Walck. I appreciated her following up to check on how I liked the vehicle. I replied how pleased I was and asked about the remote start fully expecting to be given the runaround like I had been with other dealers in the past. Instead Connie replied telling me that the appointment was already scheduled and they'd have a loaner ready for me. Wait...what!? I wasn't prepared for that. Then I took my car the following Thursday after work to have the work done. It was ready by 2PM the next day so I had it back for the weekend. There's a saying "underpromise and overdeliver." Faulkner did that. The fact that I get free car washes for life, and 2 oil changes/tire rotations a year for 3 years is a nice plus. Connie was smart, attentive, personable. The management I dealt with was tremendous. On top of the email, I also got a thank you card in the mail the following week from Connie. Those are the little things that go a long way. It's only been two weeks and things could change, but in two weeks they've already exceeded anything any prior car dealer did in the years I'd dealt with them. I recommend Faulkner, and I look forward to having a long relationship with them. I fully expect to purchase my next vehicle here when the time comes. read more

Made an appointment for service after reporting a rotten egg smell, check engine light on and multiple episodes of battery dying requiring a jump start. My complaints were completely blown off, I was told I just needed a new battery and they couldn't get a service code to diagnosis check engine light since the battery had died. Several hundred dollars later and I'm driving away only with a new battery. Less than 24 hours later, check engine light came back on, smell persists. Take car back and again my complaints were ignored AND they charged me to run diagnostics despite being in the day prior! Now I'm told check engine light is due to a brake sensor. Replace that. Within 2 days, spent approximately $650. Now, only a couple weeks later... check engine BACK ON, smell STILL exists and car just stalled while driving. This service department has no idea what they're doing and only care about collecting money. Customers are not valued- GO ELSEWHERE! I should note, that my car is only 5 years old. read more

I purchased a vehicle on 7/27/19. They didn't complete all the paperwork required for my states DMV. I was notified 2 weeks prior to my tags expiring they needed an additional form. I obtained the form from my DMV and overnighted it with a signature for delivery. The paperwork was received a week prior to the tags running out. My tags expired on 9/24/19. I've contacted the dealership multiple times and the manager Ian Wallis who will not return my calls. I currently have a brand new vehicle I'm not able to drive. About 3 weeks ago we went over to Faulkner to look at a GMC Terrain. We were looking at the car outside when a salesman came out to see if he could help us. We let him know we had no intention of doing any kind of deal that day (Wednesday) and he was VERY nice, patient, and offered to answer any questions we had. Some questions about leasing which we had NEVER done before and he answered everything. I guess at this point I should tell you his name is Brian Walsh and we would recommend him to anyone. He spoke to my Dad like he was talking to his own Dad.....a real comfortable feeling. I know there is a stereotype about car salesmen but he broke the mold. We ended up calling Brian on his day off and setting up an appointment to take my Mom back to look at it. She had more questions for Brian about leasing and he answered all of them. My Mom loved the Terrain and we ended up leasing and driving it home that day. Oh did I mention they offer FREE CAR WASHES for the life of your car/ lease. In 3 weeks I think we have gotten 4-5 and the people at the desk are super nice. Haven't experienced the service department yet but Brian has set the bar high so expecting great things. Worst customer service ever. Brought my car in for a 10am appointment (actually dropped it overnight the night before) and wasn't contacted until 245. I was told my appointment was to drop the car off only. I have no idea what that means. Why would one need an appointment to drop off? Illogical. 245 on a Thursday is a bit late to shop around after being told it would cost 1150 to get new brakes on a car with 22000 miles. Mind you, this is the SECOND time they're being replaced. First was at 11000 miles! After explaining this to the man he then explained he didn't have the parts on site and couldn't fix it for a few days! I went to Faulkner Buick in Trevose to get an 4 wheel Alignment last month, when I returned home and was washing and polishing my car few days later. I noticed that 2 of my Verano lug nuts were missing and replaced with 2 nuts from a regular nut and bolt Those Verano lug nuts are Almost $30. a piece on Ebay. That's the only place you see them. I immediately went back to Faulkner Buick and purchased 2 regular lug nuts, for almost $8 a piece, because the Verano lug nuts are no longer available. Today ,I went to the same Faulkner Buick in Trevose for an oil change and to get the chime checked out. when I left there,I drove to work, because I was cutting it close time wise. When I parked and came out, started looking around the car. There was a regular nut form a nut and bolt on one of my wheels, AGAIN !! I'm so,,,, PISSED OFF,LIVID,ANNOYED and IRRITATED, you name it.... !!!!! Ruined my entire mood, for the day! You cannot even trust to take your car to the dealer and not have someone steal something off of it ! What the hell...!! Good experience. My wife and I travel the U.S. with our jobs and while in PA I needed to have my truck (a GMC 2500HD diesel @ 15k) serviced with an oil change, DEF fill, and tire rotation. Additionally I decided to have the truck detailed as it was a bit grimy from the trip over from our last stop in VA. Based on reviews found both here and elsewhere it would seem this particular service center has gone through some growing pains. However, in researching it I found that about 6 months ago they made some changes in staff which should have improved things substantially, so I decided to give them a go. That said, if you have your Buick or GMC serviced there ask for Chris Wayne. He's professional, courteous, and honest. Speaking of honesty, if you need parts for your vehicle and decide to shop GM speak with Ted Grell. He knows his parts, and won't sell you something you don't need. Chris wrote up the order, took the car in arrange for transportation back to where I was staying and came and picked me up when the truck was ready. Everything that needed to be done was completed, and completed correctly and my truck was 100% ready for me to drive away. This is exactly what a service writer should be doing, ensuring the vehicle is serviced as it should be, and the customer treated well, and folks like Chris will certainly keep this particular service center in business. The same can be said of the excellent parts department rep Ted Grell. Ted will take the time to answer your questions honestly and like I said, won't sell you stuff you don't need. Parts and service combined make for a winning combination at Faulkner For detailing.... well, that was the only reason I didn't post 5 of 5 stars. The detailing job was good, but not great. The detailing team missed polishing up chrome on the side steps, didn't clean in the wheel wells, missed the door jam on one of the doors, left streaks on the windshield..... I know, minor details right? But that's the point, they are expected to catch that sort of stuff when DETAILING a vehicle. Went into Faulkner Buick GMC Dealership in Trevose, PA yesterday. Told the sales person exactly what we were looking for and what our max price point was. He showed us a truck that was 11K over our max price and every time I kept saying I told you our max price he kept telling me not to worry that he was going to discuss it with his manager. So we took the truck out for a test drive. The truck was littered with trash and the sales person says ohh...don't worry about that our manager was driving this truck and that is just his trash. Really???? We decide we like the truck and go back in thinking that he was going to go down in price because every time I brought up the price point I was told not to worry. What a waste of our time this was!!!! Shame on me! Found a great looking pre-certified used car that appeared to fit my needs. Being from out of state I called to be sure that the car was still at the dealership and available. I called at 5:45 PM. Knowing I couldn't make it there that day I assured the phone rep that I would be there the next morning. Long behold I got there the next day and the car had a $3000 deposit down on it and was in the process of being sold. Whether or not that story is true is besides the point, I should have at least been called since I was traveling so far. Lesson learned. read more

Nightmare Before Christmas Went to return my leased vehicle to FAULKNER BUICK GMC in Trevose last week with a friend of mine . The salesperson I requested was on vacation and my previous salesman had left. I gave a detailed account of what was important to me in my next vehicle from equipment to pricing . I also clearly explained that I was returning my leased car early due to excess milage. The salesperson appeared to be knowledgeable , stated he's been there for more than 20 years so, I figured he knew his biz. Found me a car, the only one left in the 17's that fit my needs. Went over the info and was told that I would be charged $4000 plus dollars for the excess mileage . I countered several times with the question does this mean you are taking my car in "as is" condition. Yes, it was At some point we were discussing pricing and he informed me that pricing is a game. You are supposed to get a price from Faulkner , shop it and then come back so Faulkner can give you a better price. Well, that was a red flag ! Next I met the with the manager. Affalable guy . Again, I posed the question about "as is" yes, no problem . Happy me , easy one stop shopping , so I thought. I want to discuss this with my husband. I 'll be back later tonight . My husband looked at the deal, made a few calls and found a better price which Faulkner was willing to meet . That evening we go back to the dealership. Meet with the finance people, sales, etc. Again , "as is" condition. yes we are assured. Deal signed, finished, great . Not so much !! All of a sudden they want the keys to my car, which has been parked out front the whole time . I have visible damage to my rear bumper, and some issues inside the car. Remember , "as is " means the way it is correct ? In all fairness we offered to take the car to our body shop and have the repairs made. Could we take the new car and get this one fixed ? No, not allowed the manager said . The owner/ manager the next day said of course we could have . Nope !! All of the sudden they are selling me a car. Taking my car having it assessed by GM financial and they will get back to me with what if anything I owe on my returned car ! Now "as is " a term that we have been floating around for the better part of a day means nothing to Faulkner . The salesman claims he never said they would take the car in "as is" condition. Meanwhile , he's been in and out past my car all day. Manager suddenly resurfaces and again states that he never used that term. My husband asks if he's calling me a liar. Well, as a matter of fact he is . Seriously, calling a customer a liar ??? My friend also heard the discussion and apparently was also a liar. Interesting how two people heard the same thing isn't it yet they are both liars . The deal is now shredded and monies returned. Call the next day and speak with the owner/manager who agrees to see what he can do. He's going to call back the following day. You guessed it . Never heard from him again. We called yet again and now we were speaking to another manager . He asked us to come back and he'd see what he could do. We clearly explained that if we weren't given the deal as promised we would be putting this out on social media. Faulkner had till Tuesday , December 26 to make this right. They choose not too. About the service department: I came in because my Saturn Vue had a recall on the ignition switch. I was told it was free. However after we dropped it off, we got a call about the steering column being jammed which was not covered under the recall and was going to cost over $250. Somehow between the tow truck ppl transporting the car and the dealership working on it, it got jammed but when I looked up how much this service would cost, it was $100 more so I agreed thinking I was getting a deal... They fixed it, I looked at the receipt: $131 for labor on a job that took less than an hour to do but I paid for it so I just decided to leave. They give me the keys, I go to where they parked my car, car won't start.... The battery was dead they said (interesting because I just brought a brand new battery for it). They jump my car and I start driving but I noticed 1) it's driving funny like it doesn't want to accelerate and 2) my service light is on. I've had my car for almost 3 years and never saw that light come on. I bring it back immediately, they test it out and determined that my brake lights will not go out which caused my battery to die and the service light to come on. They said they could fix it but it would cost me again. I NEVER had a problem with my brake lights, I only came in because my car had a recall. Upset, I said I was just going to take my car because I feared that they would mess up something else and try to squeeze more money out of me but my partner insisted that this wasn't right and that they needed to fix what they messed up or we would have to get a lawyer involved. They saw that my partner was not playing with them and was getting angry and conveniently enough the service technician comes out in the middle of their exchange and says "Oh it was this piece here on one of the cables that kept the brake lights on." A small little plastic piece they put on so now he says we'll fix that and it will be free of charge. It should be since they were the ones who caused the problem and to think they were going to charge me for that? It aggravates me to no end to think that these people would try to take advantage of me because I'm a woman and they think they could squeeze more money out of me! The lady printing out my receipt gonna say "Another free of charge, how unfortunate." It's unfortunate that we cannot even trust a dealership to probably fix a recalled car without messing something else up just to try to get more money from you. We weren't the only disgruntled customers their. One lady kept saying it was not right she had to keep putting money to get more stuff fixed in her vehicle. We still are trying to find out how the steering column got messed up but we will never come back here again. read more

In August, I took my car in for a state inspection. They said it would be no problem to get a ride from their shuttle. After an hour, I asked again and he still wasn't back. He never came back but no one ever checked or said a word to me until the car was done. On top of the that, the state inspection was $87+ for an almost new car which is about twice as much as I have ever paid. They asked for me feedback and I told them my issue and I got a computer generated email asking for my feedback again!! If you want a dealership that charges too much and doesn't care about the customer experience, go to Faulkner. read more

Although I didn't have an appointment for my Check Engine light, the staff at the dealership was extremely accommodating and helpful. Everyone was pleasant and really took the time to ensure that inspite of having to deal with car repairs, I had experienced the least inconvenience. The staff kept me updated on the repairs, ensured that the work on the vehicle was done under the appropriate warranty and had issued me a curtesy vehicle I felt comfortable driving. This was originally a Pontiac dealership but with the new GM they now are Buick / GMC store. They have been here for decades and when i have used them they always did everything possible to make sure you were pleased before you left. They not only do service but also a fully equipped body shop so it is literally one stop shop, all under one roof. I have bought cars here as well as bringing many vehicles in for all types of repairs and they always did me right. I find it hard to believe some of the negative reviews on here so i would take them with a grain of salt. Just a shout-out to Shannon in the service department. I bought my Scion XB at this dealership in 2008 and have never gone anywhere else for service. Shannon and the whole team make a service visit a (believe it or not) pleasant experience. Intake is fast and friendly, Shannon explains what services are being done and suggests others as necessary. Now, I suppose you might wonder how I know if his suggestions are "necessary." Well, I don't. But the reason that I trust him and the reason that I, in fact, purchased my Scion from Faulkner, is that I had brought by previous Scion in for evaluation after another car repair shop told me that I needed very expensive repairs. Shannon told me (and I quote): "I cannot tell you in good conscience that there is anything at all wrong with your car." !!!!! So, I am very happy with my Scion that I purchased from Faulkner and their outstanding service department. Had to take my GMC Terrain for a scheduled oil change. Was greeted right and helped right away. Had a appointment so my truck was taken right in. They did the Pont inspection and tire rotation and top off fluids and car wash. Great up to that point. All was covered under my pre-owned warranty. My only gripe is my truck was done and sitting on the side for about 30mins before someone came and gave me my paperwork and said my truck is ready, see the cashier for checkout. I took my vehicle in because the driver side mirror would not close at the oush of the button. When I got my vehicle back the driver side mirror worked but not the passenger side didn't. When I asked why is it not working I was told " I don't know it was just working I saw it,but dont worry its covered under your warranty" by the service representative David Malinowski. Service Department review: After making an appointment on-line, I took my truck (Chevy Colorado) in to have the cause of the check engine light checked out. Turns out the fix was simple, new gas cap, however this was missed by a previous service agency (STS). while there they recommended that the trans fluid be flushed and replaced, which I agreed to although I think the price was pretty steep for this work. The truck was dropped off at 0830 and was done by 1100 the same day. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service (except possibly for the cost of the trans flush). read more

What made it extremely difficult was the additional criterion that it had to "qualify" for GM's extra $1500. rebate. Connie and the management team found and was able to get my car delivered within a week. I found out later that this was the last model available in a 200 mile radius. Worst automotive buying experience. My 81 year old father went to the dealership with a check to purchase a new car from them. They tried to bait and switch and would not honor an Internet price on a vehicle they quoted him. They claimed the vehicle never existed. He then returned a week later and tried to negotiate a deal on a new car but the sales manager had no idea what he was talking about and wanted him to start the process over again. He walked out and then received a nasty call from the sales manager. He had been a loyal customer for over 10 years and they told him they didn't want him as a customer. He used to drive to Trevose from center city to have his Buick serviced by them for years. Then when he is ready to buy a new car from them for cash, they play games. They could not have made it any more difficult to buy a car. We ended up buying a new Buick the same day from Kerbeck who treated him as someone they value as a customer. Will never do business with them again and certainly will tell everyone about this horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and don't deal with these unscrupulous people. read more

I had my first service for my new Buick and the wait wasn't to terrible. I like that I was able to make an appointment online because I hate calling. Booking my appointment online was quick and easy. Once I arrived I had to ask a sales guy where the service department was located. There's some renovations going on and if your not familiar with the place you will not know where to go like me. I walked into the service department and was not greeted by any of the employees working. There were about 4 of them in the room. I had to ask one of the ladies sitting at the computer were the service department was since to make sure I was in the right room. Finally a gentleman greeted me took my info and keys and from there all I had to do was wait for my car. After about an hour my car was done and waiting for me outside. I did not have to pay anything out of pocket because Buick covers 2 oil changes a year for 2 years. Sweet!! I got a complimentary car wash and for a free wash you just can't complain. The only thing that bothered me about my whole experience at Faulkner Buick's service was that at when I got into my car is smelled TERRIBLE and my tan leather seat had black finger prints on it. That is totally unacceptable if you ask me. The stench was pretty bad that it even got on my jeans. As soon as I arrived at my house I had to change my pants and wipe off my seat!!! Gross!! For that I give Faulkner Buick 3.5 stars. I will visit again and I hope I don't have the same issue. I will update my review if my next service experience is better! read more
