So my friend from work told me about this place so I wanted to check them out. So I got the Nevada burrito, which is huge burrito. For $7, I am not complaining. It comes with sour cream, avocado, potato, cheese and steak. One of the best burritos I have had here in Vegas (And I am picky). The flavors were bold and delicious everything was fresh. The man that works the register now (04/18/2021) is the most polite, attentive, and well-spoken customer service representative that I have encountered in a very long time. This is a fast food place and he made me feel like I was a millionaire at a 5-star resort. This man will definitely own a very successful business one day (I hope). I have no idea how this place has its rating. They absolutely deserve every bit of 4 1/2-5!! It came as on point as my girlfriend has been making it out to be ti anyone from the eastern part of our country. The only rival I've found has been Tacos Rapidos in South Denver. This is the second Fausto's location we've been to and decided to grab a bite after checking out Castaways Resale Store a few doors down. The menu is the same as other locations so I ordered one of my favorites, their Chile Relleno Burrito and we also tried a bowl of Menudo. Grabbed a takeout feast for two, mixed feelings about the foods we ordered. Prices are low and portions are generous, but most items missed the mark in some way or another. NACHOS: Gigantic portion for $8, fairly thin layer of chips with a mountain of toppings. This was a good value and the shredded chicken and toppings were tasty but the chips themselves were thin and mushy. COMBO PLATE; Opted for the chicken enchilada and chile relleno, with sides of rice and beans. The enchilada sauce was perfect and the chile relleno was pretty good but the beans were bland and enchilada was falling apart. BURRITO: This monster was the size of my forearm, opted the lengua. Meat was super tender and there was a generous amount inside, but I was disappointed to see just meat, rice, and onions as the filling. The first time I went here last week I got a super burrito. It was very delicious and it's what lead me going back. They also have great salsa. I came back again to get the same exact thing. Unfortunately more than half the meat in my burrito was fat and I had to constantly pull meat from out of my mouth! It was pretty horrible and I don't under how someone could make the burrito like that and not know! On top of that I could tell the meat wasn't cooked throughly as there was a lot of pink. My 6yr old LOVES rolled tacos, and me and my husband enjoy them as well. so we all ordered rolled tacos with rice and beans. these rolled tacos we not the typical. the tortilla was different, and it seems as tho it was baked... because it's soft even while being fresh. this is not how we like our rolled tacos. they also were not generous enough with the guac and cheese, so basically if i finished my 5 rolled tacos, 2 would have been plain. the red salsa was fine.. no complaints there. the rice was fine as well. the beans were not very good, in fact they tasted weird to me and my husband. not at ALL impressed. read more

Unlike a rivas breakfast burrito where I need to pound atleast 5 to be full with a mouth full of tortilla, I only need one from faustos thats how good there portions are for the price point. I don't know wtf is going on with the restaurant. I've been coming here for 5 years ordering basically the same meals every time. All of a sudden the guy that runs the places doesn't remember who I am, says my orders are weird. Makes the dishes I ask for incorrectly and then blames me for them being wrong. I even show the man the text message I have with the order for him to see what I'm reading, and he still messed up. I'm not sure what has happened in the last 2 months, but the quality of service here has gone down the toilet faster than anything I've ever seen before. When get it right, the food is great but lately the guy that's been here every single time I've ever come in has shown that he no longer cares for what he does, or how he responds to people when they let him know that the order is incorrect. I hope the guy is able to correct whatever is going wrong with him because he used to be a very man. Now however I don't think I'll be returning. To bad. Husband ordered two bean tostadas, and when items came got two burritos. The guy taking order mis heard him so not only got the order wrong but charged him more. He did not notice till the order came, he didn't ask for the price difference refund, just asked that they make the correct order. They refused and would not refund. They just lost a long time customer for not only not providing good service but following their policy of refund with product. In addition food quality has definately gone down hill. Everytime I get a cheese enchilada, the cheese is not melted, the chicken tacos are flashed cooked and meat dried out, no queso and covered up by as much lettuce as will fit in the box. Oh lordy lord, I didn't think I'd be coming back so soon. LOL. Tonight we came on a whim and boy am I glad I did! This time, I decided to get the Carne Asada Fries which came out to about $8 with tax. I gotta say, it was delicioso!! Start with crispy french fries, topped with chunks of seasoned beef, sour cream, guacamole and two types of cheeses. The great part about it was that I couldn't finish it so I took the rest home and I'm happy that I'll have another meal later! Such a fulfilling meal and caution to the wise: don't try to be a hero and eat this with your hands. It'll conquer you! This must be consumed with a fork! On another note, when we arrived, there was a line to the door. Low and behold, there was a lady in front, trying to decide what to get. I don't think she read my first review for this place. LOL On a last note, the front guy that takes your order and your money is really funny. He doesn't talk much English, but can understand a lot and interacted with us during our visit. He made us chuckle a couple of times. While we were eating though, he kept taking pictures and the camera kept facing towards us. Good for drunks, teenage boys, or people who suckered friends into a full day of back-breaking yard work but are too cheap to repay them with sushi. Need a filler, fast, and fo' cheap? Fausto's! There are other reasons to go to Faustos. Like, tonight, I simply wanted to overeat. I recommend the chorizo burrito. It's $3.75. In a moment I'll add a photo which demonstrates how this burrito is about three inches longer than a cheap, plastic fork. It's 2/3 as fat as a Chipotle burrito. The chorizo, eggs, potatoes and cheese are tightly wrapped in a fresh tortilla that's slightly doughy. Usually it's served in a wrapper with a small pool of orange grease, but not tonight. I planned to eat the whole thing but am proud of myself for leaving almost half of it for lunch tomorrow. On other occasions I have enjoyed the carne asada burrito, which may be better than the chorizo. But I always get chorizo because steaky foods are a dime a dozen. The environment is very clean and designed very well for drunks, teenage boys, and friends who....etc. I feel like Fausto's deserves five stars because, in its realm of eateries, it's my favorite. But that might diminish the value of my very favorite Mexican restaurant in Vegas, Molcajete. read more

Breakfast burro was made to order and service was friendly and prompt. I can appreciate Faustos for being consistent with their food, when looking for the quick fix, try this spot out. Nice little hidden gem tucked away in shopping center. Opens at 5 so cool for the early risers too, or the nite owls.. I've been through the other locations and it's a lil different vibe () but same consistent food. I prefer this spot over Roberto's ( hold the grease tacos) any day. Clean, friendly, and the salsa bar is kept clean which I can appreciate also. Faustos is definitely Not like some places ive been and was immediately turned off by the carrots growing roots!
