Late lunch after running some errands. Tacos or Subway? I think 3 tacos and a drink for $10 is a good deal. It's their Tuesday special. Pretty good reviews from fellow Yelpers. Quick and friendly service. Self serve fountain drinks. I ordered 2 carnitas and an el pastor. It also came with some chips and a bit of refried beans. Both meats were substantial but a bit dry and had tons of cilantro and onions. The place is clean and had a few tables for dine in. Good for a quick taco fix.

Excellent customer service. Decent wait time. OK rolled tacos and a relatively decent size/tasting chorizo breakfast burrito. It's sooo hard to find a delicious chorizo breakfast burrito in my opinion. Although viva El taco doesn't have the best ones in town. They also don't have the worst. But given the fact that I'm not in the habit of falling in love with basic, average, mediocre and just OK eats this first visit of mine to Vita El tacos will also be my last.

Love the menu and prices here. They are open 24/7. The service is kind and quick. It's a cute and colorful place. Will be back soon.

The service is friendly and helpful. The prices are higher in person than the photos. I had the carne asada taco plate. The tacos are loaded with meat, onions, and lettuce. They were missing salsa and some more meat juice. The rice is a missed opportunity because it was too salty for my palate while beans had a weird aftertaste and salty. I had the asada, Lengua and cabeza. Next time, I'll just go with asada and try the grilled chicken. There are tables with stools and chairs but it's at the front of the shop, feels awkward and not very private.

Menudo with cilantro, onions, oregano, chili powder and flour tortillas.

Small restaurant. Cold. I ordered my weekly fix of menudo served with flour tortillas. Food was hot and spicy. Tripe was tender but sparse. Taste was good but not enough meat.

So this is my second review. In my first review I stated that I would be back to try the taco Tuesday special 3 street tacos for 10.00. I was a little skeptical but I thought I would give it a try well I have to say I was not disappointed. Three tacos with chips and some refried beans and a drink. The presentation was great the first bite of the taco the only thing that I could say was fuck me!!! Holy fuck! I found a place close to my house that has the best street tacos I've ever tasted since leaving Southern California. I've been here in Vegas for 11 years now and the best street tacos that I had found were in N. Las Vegas and a 25 minute drive but they were worth the drive now this place is only a two minute drive and they are just as good as the other place so I highly recommend there taco Tuesday special I'll be back next Tuesday for lunch again and again and again.

I was in the mood for some tacos while my kid ordered some burgers next door. The ambiance in there was clean, bright, and everything was fresh. The service was great, the asada was well cooked and not over seasoned or burnt. The seasonings were modernized from the authentic recipes but I appreciated the taste and pairings. If I'm in the area I'll definitely come back for more.

10 stars! Holy guacamole! I eat a lot of tacos. I am so tired of bland cheap meat used as an excuse for carme asada, so I usually end up making them myself. But I was a little hungry and craving it, so I turned to Yelp, of course. Luckily for me, it's nearby which makes it convenient. Some of fellow Elites posted awesome reviews and mouth watering pics. And you did not disappoint! Hands down, the best carne asada street taco I've ever had. The cubed beef is perfectly season, perfectly cooked and tender with a touch of crispy char. It really tastes like wagyu filet mignon! And their salsas are house made and also so flavorful. The place is small but mighty. Do you pay more for a street taco than other places? Yep, but it's so worth it. I'd much pay more for something I truly enjoy. Ang yess what? Go on Taco Tuesdays to get 3 street tacos for $10! I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. But service was fast and friendly.'This may be my new addiction. Heading back soon to try the other items! Viva El Taco!

Was craving some tacos and wanted to try something new. I seen some great reviews here and I wanted to experience it myself. I was able to order the birria taco plate and they were so good! Flavorful and filling for $16!

Shredded beef hard shell taco and chicken rolled tacos were GREAT!! Both salsas were super tasty with just the right amount of heat. Very friendly service. Highly recommend.

Got a carne asada burrito and al pastor tacos. The burrito was all meat with salsa, just the way I like it. The beef was tender and flavorful, but the mild hot sauce was spicier than I thought it would be. The tacos were also very flavorful and filling. Despite it being busy, customer service was friendly and fast. Prices were reasonable. Definitely will be back.

Let me tell y'all something ..... I'm from California and finding comparable Mexican food is HARD. I mean HARD and then when you do find a good place you have to move. I took a chance on this place because I was tired of Roberto's old dry meat. Baby when I say this was the best decision I made in a LONG time. The horchata was taste just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk and the carne asada fries were SO FLAVORFUL. You can tell they use a really good cut of meat! Best $44 I've spent on fast food in a while

    Bug in food
    Bree D.

The first couple of times I've ordered from this place was okay. The food is decent I'll give it that but they are not consistent with how the food is served. They've made plenty of mistakes in between ordering from them but we always gave them a chance. But I will not be ordering from them again considering there was an earwig "pincher bug" in my cooked food! I called back to let them know and the girl did at least seem concerned and said they can comp my next meal. I told her that was okay but I would like to go another day. All she did was take down my name. No confirmation or anything. A couple weeks later my husband called and we ordered take out, we asked about the "comped meal". The girl acted like she knew about it. But upon arrival she told my husband the owner wasn't going to honor it. It is so hard to find a decent Mexican spot on this side of town and in all of Vegas (in my opinion) with that being said I won't be going back to this maggot infested hole in the wall.

It is like any typical taqueria, nothing really extraordinary. I ordered asada tacos and was a bit unimpressed. There was a lot of meat but it was very dry and flavorless. I appreciated how juicy the limes were and the salsa verde was nice, but it was all very underwhelming. It was about $13 for the three tacos, so I expected them to be a bit better than what they were. Despite being a little busy, the food came out pretty quick. This spot is quite dingy. There is a lot of open seating but it is dirty and unkempt. When we were eating there, there was a homeless man seated inside screaming, ripping up newspapers and throwing them around, and playing with a lighter. Although there is an understanding that this is not a fine dining establishment, I think it is a bare minimum standard to host an environment where guests feel safe. It is very loud in there and very casual. It is accommodating for both small and large parties without prior reservation. Maybe the other menu items are better, but if you are looking for tacos, this would not be the best option.

From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and excellent service made the night special. Amanda went above and beyond with her customer service. She made sure our flowers and balloons were delivered and beautifully arranged on our table waiting for us, such a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more memorable. Our server was also fantastic, attentive and friendly throughout the night. The food was next-level. They must have a new chef because this is hands-down the best Mexican food we've had in Las Vegas. My carne asada chef's special tacos were incredibly juicy and packed with flavor (unlike the dry ones you often get elsewhere). The queso fundido and fresh guacamole were excellent, my wife's shrimp entrée was outstanding, and the flan was truly unique, my daughter said it was the best she's ever had. Every dish was a hit, and the cocktails were fantastic too. Everyone in our group raved about their meals. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food and wonderful service in downtown Las Vegas, look no further. La Mona Rosa is highly recommended!

MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to. Service: You order, pay, and they call your name to pick up your food. Straightforward.
