Favorite Bistro on the LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas serves up classic American bar food like burgers, fish and chips, and salads, though despite the name, it is NOT my absolute favorite. The location is great if you are staying nearby at the Flamingo or The LINQ, but while it is not the type of place you would go out of your way to visit, it is still a good option on the strip. They have a stage for a live band, though music stopped at 10 PM on Sunday right as we arrived. Service was a little slow, especially at the end of the meal when we were ready for the check. As for the food, the chips and guacamole were a bit bland. The burger was good, though at the end of the day, it is just a burger, while the salads at nearby tables looked fresh and appetizing. If you are staying nearby and want a convenient spot for a casual bite and drinks, Favorite Bistro is a handy and decent stop. read more

On our most recent trip to Vegas, we stayed at the Flamingo Hotel and discovered Favorite Bistro on the Linq Promenade just outside our hotel. The Linq Promenade was quite a surprise to us, filled with delicious offerings, and oh so convenient. Favorite Bistro was one of our favorite finds. So much so that we enjoyed three tasty meals at Favorite Bistro. The food was fresh and tasty, service was super friendly, the atmosphere couldn't be cuter, and the location couldn't be more convenient. We'll definitely be back. We came here during our trip to the ice bar and left pretty disappointed if I am being honest. The draw of their happy hour special is what drew us in but it was lackluster to say the least. We decided to grab some wings and head to eat somewhere else. Our wings were pretty below mid to be honest. The wings themselves were okay but lacked seasoning and the sauce seemed to be an afterthought and slapped on without being properly tossed. The entire wings weren't even coated. This place has easily the best happy hour we found near the stip! It's hard to beat $6 drinks, so we stayed a while. The staff took great care of us and the prices were amazing. Had dinner here on a Thursday night recently and was very impressed. From the minute me & my group (9 total) arrived the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and aimed to please. Wish I had taken pictures of the food, but had the following: Escargot for the table as an appetizer... was so good we had seconds!
