I've tried a few grooming places before, but this one is by far the best experience. The team was very patient, especially since my dog can be a little nervous. They handled everything with care and made sure my dog was comfortable. The result was exactly what I wanted. Great service, fair pricing, and a clean environment. Highly recommended!

Review is long overdue. I've brought my dogs here 3 times already. All of my experiences have been outstanding. One of my dogs, tends to have a lot of fur in his ears, and Tina, our groomer, was able to clean inside of his ears leaving him looking super clean. I also feel bad for my dog being so afraid of nail clippings, as he did try to bite Tina. Apologies!!! I will definitely keep bringing my dogs here for grooming and bath.

Honestly, I give them a five star because of their friendliness cleanest and the way they greeted me when I walked in with Max. I wanted my dog to be shaved for the summer because it was extremely hot and they did a great job this place had a couple negative reviews that I seen which made me a bit scared to go to this place, but I still gave it a try. I didn't see anything wrong with my dog. He was in good shape. I don't think this place is expensive at all. Try grooming your dog yourself and see how much work and time it takes. I say give this place a try I liked it and I have a cocker spaniel. He's very timid scared for them to be able to take a dog that gets shy around people, they did an awesome job. Great job. You guys will be seeing you guys soon.

I will take fault for not communicating clearly enough what was expected, as I gave an unclear photo that didnt accuratly show fur length and didn't make doubly sure that they understood what we wanted. (Though we explicitly said no shaving and not too short, it doesnt seem like they understood or we gave conflicting information) I had wrongly assumed that they would knew cutting pomeranian hair too short is very bad for the dog as it could need to alopecia, causing fur to grow back patchy and in some cases not grow back the same as it ever was, and even cause health issues as the undercoat protects their skin from the sun, regulates their temperature in cold AND hot weather, and is sensitive to being cut. Please never get your pomeranians shaved as it is cruel to do so and can mess them up forever, there is plenty of information online about this. I'm very stressed at how short they came back and will have to make sure their skin is protected. If the fur was too matted to brush they could have told us so before shaving it all off almost to the skin. I would advise the owners of this place to not shave pomeranians too short (like Boo) even if customers ask for it. It is not healthy to do so at all, the only time you should ever do that is in emergency where the matting is so severe that there is no chance of brushing it out without hurting the dog. Again I do take fault for not triple checking to make sure the groomers were on the same page as us, but I also would like to have the groomers know that pomeranians in particular should never get their undercoat shaved for their own wellbeing, and to advise other pomeranian owners to be aware of this. Everything else seemed fine, their nails great and fur clean, the dogs didn't seem too distressed despite how busy the store was, and their pricing is quite reasonable. I'm sure the place is fine if you didn't have a dog with such particular grooming needs as a pomeranian.

I have 3 German Shepherd mixes. One of my dogs is a 100lb long hair, double coated huge baby:) I had a mobile groomer for the past 7 years who was amazing when he left I went on the journey to find someone willing to take on Thors massive hair. Jennifer at Favorite Groomer met the challenge. She was amazing. I also took my husky/Shepard mix to get her hair done and they were amazing with her as well. I recommend them for any size dog. I am absolutely devastated by what was done to my Golden Retriever. He was NOT supposed to be shaved. Goldens have a double coat for a reason, and any professional groomer should know this. When I got him back, his entire body was shaved down unevenly with zero effort or care. The shave is choppy, inconsistent, and looks rushed--as if no one even checked their work. He went in with long, beautiful hair and came out completely exposed and unprotected. This is not just about appearance--this can affect his coat permanently and his ability to regulate temperature. What hurts the most is that it feels careless at best and intentional at worst. My dog does bark, and based on the result, my family and I genuinely question whether frustration played a role in how he was treated. read more

I had been bringing my dog here for a year, and at first everything was great. About 4 months ago they really started to fall. The first incident they cut my dog's quick. Which i know can happen, and I'm sure it was an accident. However, when we went to pick him up, they didn't tell us, and it wasn't until we got home and he started playing that his nail started bleeding. So the next time, we let them know that the groomer had cut his nail too short, and if anything like that happened again to please let us know. We went to pick him up, they didn't say anything. And sure enough, when we got home, his nail started bleeding. We decided to give them one more chance, and I honestly wish we didn't. Not only did they cut his quick again and not tell us. They also gave him razor burns in his private area, and I found two ticks on him. That was the final straw. Do not come here, they are not professional, nor communicative, and clearly unhygienic. I never leave reviews, even when I have very negative experiences. But people need to be aware. read more

We have been bringing our dog cross here for over a year, he's gotten so used to being groomed and always comes back so cute. We had a minor mistake happen to him just this last visit, while taking him in only for bath and his face got trimmed, but the staff allowed me to bring him back for a full grooming to fix the lengths at no charge and we loved it, always our go to! The price is also unmatched ! read more

I understand that my pup is difficult to handle. But, I called in advance and spoke with Eva and stated what we needed: nails trimmed, ears trimmed, sani-area cleaned up, remove mats from back legs. PLEASE DO NOT CUT HIS BEAUTIFUL COAT. I even left a written note. I informed them that he would give them maybe a half an hour. Well, I just don't think they understood. After three written and verbal instructions. Nails were cut. Three legs shaved, one not. And his coat cut to an various lengths many of which were less than an ince remaining of his full length coat. I cried all the way home. Listen to what your puppy parent says!!!! I saw some cute groomed dogs come out so all I can say is a complete LACK OF COMMUNICATION. read more

After taking our dog to several other groomers, we finally found one that provides great service at an affordable price. They did an excellent job on our Yorkie-poo. She needed a lot of work due to previous groomers mistakes and they took the time to make her look great again. She's never looked better. Now they really are our Favorite Grooming. A++ read more

I happened to be going to Pet Joy and I saw this groomer open. We went in and the prices were amazing. We thought why not give it a shot and we are so happy we did We have a corgi and she came out looking and smelling fantastic. We've been going to PetSmart for grooming and we had issues the last two times. We are switching over to this groomers. Just an fyi they said they changed their hours to M-S, 10-5pm. My only regret is I should have given a bigger tip for such a great job. As an aside I just saw some of the bad reviews. Not sure if they got someone new up front or what. But the lady I met was very kind and very kind to my dog too. read more

Please don't go here it's under new owner ship the lady at the front is so mean and bitter she wanted to shave down my dogs mini poodles and said that would cost $65 each she waisted my time if I would of known it's under new ownership I would of not made a appointment. Appointment was easy to make by calling in. Grace was really great with Mona, seperated her from the male dogs, and you can just tell she really loves and cares about dogs! Mona even got a little bandana! Super cute! I'll definitely be back; I would rate 6/5 stars if I could! If you have a small dog, then Favorite Grooming is THE place to go! read more

I can see why there are some reviews on here stating that the owner is rude. She is a bit terse but is also a one-woman operation and surrounded by barking dogs (at least that was my experience). She did a great job on my rescue doggie, who was horribly matted and overgrown. I had her shave him but she still was able to give his face a really cute trim. I'll go back to her for sure. read more

I don't know from where to start !!! Disappointed, frustrated or irritated " Pick one" won't even describe the way I feel. So we knew Grace the owner of " Favorite Grooming" for quiet some time. My wife and I always take our 2 multi poodle dogs for a haircut and our husky for a bath/brush. Due to the hot weather, we've decided to give our HUSKY a little trim to help him cool off, which we do every year ( With PetSmart). So I ask Grace if she's able to do so. With no hesitation she answered" YES". At the beginning, I was hesitant because we usually send our HUSKY to pet smart which they do an amazing job, unfortunately they were not taking any appointments due to COVID-19. The results of her work were disastrous, see the pictures and u will know how I feel. Even tho, with her terrible work I was not planning to post any bad reviews!! ( Every single individual has a bad day) However, today I was petting my HUSKY around his neck and all of sudden he screamed so loud!!! Therefore, I start digging to check what's wrong!! His whole neck was full of scratches and blood due to the way GRACE brushed him. I can tolerate a horrible trim however hurting him i can't. I think GRACE is an okay groomer with small dogs however, terrible one with big dogs. So be careful!! read more

I didn't think my short haired dog needed grooming, but boy was I wrong. She definitely benefitted from the bath, nail trim, and anal gland expression -- all for $40 and 30 minutes. My lovely girl also left with a cute fourth of July bandana and a biscuit and a smile on her face. I will definitely be coming back! read more

first time taking my long white hair chihuahua here, the lady was super nice, got my dog done an about an hour, he looked very nice after his grooming, she removed some fleas. I would for sure take him back to this place, its awesome, compared to other expensive places, it was very affordable, she also gave me some advice on how to keep him free of fleas, it was very affordable here. thank you read more

Brought my mini dachshund here for a quick nail trim as my regular groomer closed early for the day. They took him in right away and did a great job, even considering how squirmy and anxious he gets about nail trimming. There's a front waiting room area separated by a door, and a back grooming area with large windows so you can look back and see your dogs' progress. The price was great, $10 even, and the rest of their prices are very reasonable. The place is clean and well organized and both groomers were very friendly and patient. We'll be back. read more

New owner is rude, and mistreats your pets. I loved it when it was owned by Grace. She really took good care of my fur babies, and always delivered the best cuts. New owner butchered my pets hair which has taken months to grow out. I had showed her a pic of what they always got in the past, and she completely ignored my request. Don't ever cancel with Grace otherwise she would not groom your dog ever again. That's the kind of business owner she is. I called to cancel because my dog was throwing up on the hour of her appointment and she got upset that i didn't call in earlier. The most we've ever had to wait is about 15 to 20 minutes. Today, was no different, walked in at 10:15a, let them know that we needed a nail trim, the associate said that the earliest they can get us in was not till 12 PM without an appointment. An appointment? I explained to them that in the five years we've been going to them for nail grinds (which is pretty frequent) we've never had to make an appointment. That's when she said that making appointment has always been in place. So, I walked out, came over to The Good Dog. The General Manager greeted us, even while working with another customer. Listening how he handled the other two customers in front of us (who appeared to be regulars) set the tone that this is a friendly place that we want to be a part of. You know, it's like "Cheers," you wanna go where everyone knows your name! Well, they were able to get us in right away. They advised we typically do not need to make an appointment for nail grind, but to simply call up to make sure they are not busy at the moment, otherwise can get in quickly. I think that's reasonable, fair enough AND smart! "Thanks, Good Dog!"

I chose not to continue patronage, but the offer and continued open communication was very appreciated. Original Review: This is the first time I've been to this location and decided to go here due to the large number of good reviews. They were able to fit my appointment in very last minute, less than 24hrs notice, super friendly staff, and lots of merchandise. Also great cut options avaliable for someone new, trying to figure out what a new groomer can do with a new client. Asked them to brush his teeth and grind his nails, to which they accomplished (at least his breath smells better). With that said, I was told they would contact me 20 minutes before he's ready for pickup, they did not. They messaged me when he was done. No big deal. When I picked him up, immediately noticed the uneven cut job. As we're driving home, noticed A BUNCH of dirt left in his coat. Makes me question if they bathed him, and if they did, they didnt do a good thorough job. Also started to notice the uneven cut throughout his body, from his stomach where they left bunches of fur, to his back, which seemed as though they used two sizes for razors. They cut him (most likely by accident) but just reinforces my suspicion that they rushed through his entire "grooming". For the $100 package, counting $15 for dental/nail grinding, I can't say I'm not disappointed. Unfortunately, will not be coming back. Sincerely disappointed :( I will have to bathe him again, give him a complete haircut, and finish areas they didnt even attempt too, such as the hair under his nose going into his mouth.

The groomers name was Kaitlyn who did her and she did a great job. Very friendly, got Skye's undercoat out, and gave me a recommendation for which brush I should buy for inbetween grooms. This is definitely a great place and I highly recommend it for a professional groom or a self wash!

My dog was dropped off happy and healthy and was picked up with both eyes bloodshot and a vein protruding from under his eye lid. Luckily our vet was able to see him asap after the grooming. The vet believes it was from excessive trauma. My other dog looked very stressed as well. The receptionist at the groomer implied I dropped off my dog with damaged eyes which is silly. I would never. We did get a call from their HR department but have NOT heard back since. We racked up 100's of dollars in vet bills. I don't know if that same groomer is still there. A good groomer should be able to identify stressed dogs and act accordingly. My poor dogs have been super stressed since the incident. This will likely take them time to recover from.
