Boba tea is great, still. We thoroughly enjoy coming here. There are a couple times, though, where the service was lacking. Today, we tried to go through the drive thru at 9:10am. They had a sign posted that said "serving espresso at 6a M-F" in addition to a standing sign with an arrow saying drive thru espresso. They were not there and the inside was dark. This was incredibly disappointing. Another time, everyone was outside and I waited almost 10 minutes for anyone to notice that I was waiting. I tried yelling a couple of times, but nobody heard as they were not inside at all. I give four stars still because of these two times. Otherwise, the service has been fine. But, if you post a sign saying you have espresso at a certain time, you should be there to serve it. The boba tea is still fantastic. The burgers are also good. They could improve by wrapping the burgers with paper since they are quite messy to eat without it. We will be returning, but are disappointed with our experience today. read more

We came here for lunch to meet some family. We ordered our burgers and then went and sat down. We then watched person after person order after us and leave with their food. We finally went and asked about our order and I guess they had lost it. Took us over an hour to get our food. The food was ok, but nothing really too special when we did get it. People were talking shit about this place when it first opened, since all the restaurants that came before it were absolute garbage. But despite the failed past restaurants, and the expectations of failure, Burger Queen shines bright in a town which contains First Burger (May we bask in it's eternal glory). Dramatic improvement from the last time I was here ( under the previous owners). the burger and fries were perfect, and the price point is about the same as the nearby McDonald's, which I found pleasantly shocking. This place is fantastic. The burger patty was clearly made in house from fresh burger not manufactured from some frozen set up. The flavor of the beef was right on. The fries were clearly homemade fresh and were excellent. The burger overall tasted fantastic. My wife had the regular cheeseburger. It comes with lettuce and tomato and cheese for 3.65. You can't beat that. I had the mushroom Swiss which they were offering for four dollars at the time and it was fantastic. Just good quality and really reasonable prices. I like this place. As we walked in my two preteen boys were treated to a video of a man with one hand up a woman's skirt and the other ripping off her shirt, from the tv screen in the dining area. I'm not a happy mom. I've been to the dining room twice and the drive through once, both had excellent service. The burgers are just the right size, they are generous with fries, and the food is served hot. Little by little they are offering a little more on the menu, but as long as they stick to their strengths - great service and a classic meal - they will get a steady following. I'm guessing lunch will start to get busy once school begins in the fall. Only negative, the prices are a little high for burgers and fries. read more

After ordering and paying we waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes with out any idea what was going on with our food. Finally I got out the car and went inside to see our order sitting on the counter. I explained to the employee that we had been waiting but had two little kids in the car and had to go. I asked for a refund- this took her approx 5-10 minutes and she did not provide a receipt for the supposed refund. She also did not apologize for the long wait. There is nothing wrong with a restaurant being busy however the lack of communication is not ok when you have already paid and are stuck in the drive through. This is a pretty good burger place. The burger and fries were tasty and made well, and the server was pleasant. Price was good-- I'd spend as much (if not more) at a McDonald's, but the quality is much better here. Be aware that the menu is somewhat limited, mostly burgers and fries (not surprising, considering it is a burger place). But they also have a decent selection of ice cream. I didn't have any, as it appears most of it comes with some sort of tea mixed in (and I don't drink tea), but it appeared to be very popular as several people came in just for that! The only downside is that there isn't much for the kids-- they don't have a kids size burger or nuggets. However, considering their market (it is right next to a high school) appears to be targeting older teenagers and adults, I can understand this. However, it means I won't be coming in as often as I would like. I will be returning (whenever I don't have my kids with me), and I recommend this place. read more

I really want to like this place, but it has definitely gone down hill. Our first experience was great, good service good food but I've been there several more times and liked it less and less each time. Today I decided to run over on my lunch break to grab a burger and fries, this was my first time trying the drive-through. The woman who waited on me was not friendly, and it took quite a bit of time and I was the only person at the restaurant. The burger was okay, but had pieces of grissily fat in it...which pretty much ruined it for me. The fries seem like they were from the bottom of the barrel, all broken pieces and mostly potato skins - not much actual potato and super greasy. I will probably go back for the Bobo Tea or a Milkshake at some point, but o think I'm done with the burger and fries. read more
