Wow! I've never written a review but our experience was so terrible I have to. Note to self, if all the other reviews only mention pizza, make sure you only order pizza. I thought with 5 star reviews a restaurant would be able to make a decent pasta but I was completely wrong! The lasagna is a few watery noodles with watery sauce and slices of pepperoni on top. Absolutely no "filling" of any kind and barely any cheese. The "side salad" was iceberg lettuce and carrots floating in water. And good Lord don't get me started on the glass of wine. Cold red wine? The whole experience, ewwww. My husband had spaghetti with meatballs also watery and the seafood fettucine, strike 3. No idea on the pizza but I sure hope it's a heck of alot better than everything else on the menu! read more

Fazzari's is just a fun place to be. First off, they have the regular stuff when it comes to pizza, so you can't really go wrong there. Where they separate themselves from the pack is in the non-traditional pizza. They have several that use a delicious mustard sauce, including one with polish sausage and sauerkraut they call The Shotsy that was recently named by Buzz Feed "one of the 18 pizzas you gotta try before you die." I think I'd have to agree! The crust is hand tossed, and the kitchen is behind this huge window where you can watch them make every single pizza (kids flock to this like crazy- a HUGE plus for this father of two very rambunctious daughters under eight years old). The seating is cafeteria style, and it's always packed. They also have a decent selection of beers on tap, and an okay salad bar. Add-ons like breadsticks and such are also pretty good. read more

If you're in town getting ready to salmon, steelhead, sturgeon or bass fish or bolting up Hells Canyon, Fazzari's is a must-stop. Their pizza is second to none in this region and can be enjoyed in a warm, friendly, family atmosphere. There's a myriad of pizzas available to please your pallet, but it's tough to overlook the shotsy (a mustard sauce based pizza) or the taco, but over the years we haven't found anything here that wasn't impressive. Keep in mind, however, you're coming here for pizza. That's their specialty. The salad bar is weak. Come once and you'll return every time you're in town. read more

As shitty as this town is, this is my first sit down restaurant in Clarkston, not bad! As far as the interior goes, better than what I expected. Nice cedar wood grain walls, with a base of bricking. Tabling around Fazzari's is a little tight, making it difficult to walk through. The food is very mediocre and not a spot I'd choose to go to if I was hungry. Great selection, great prices, good food! Staff was not especially friendly or helpful and you must realize you're going to eat in a large room filled with very long tables. There are free refills on iced tea and coffee, but you have to pay for refills on soft drinks. We got the taco pizza and the BBQ pizza - both were excellent. read more

Very good food, we sampled several things from the menu. Service was pretty quick and a great place for our loud group.

If you prefer thin crust over the more doughy type, this is the place to go. I live 2 1/2hrs away, so when I know I have to head in that direction I take a cooler. It is more expensive than the chain pizza restaurants, but in my opinion, more than worth it. For one thing, despite being heavy with toppings, it isn't near as greasy (which means fewer digestive problems later, if you know what I mean). I've eaten at pizza joints all over Washington, and being a thin-crust lover I feel Fazzari's to truly have the finest pizza in the state. While not cracker thin, I find the texture to be perfect. (Though this is still two-handed pizza). The mustard sauce is incredible! It is not straight mustard, but more of an alfredo-based mustard sauce. Just enough mustard tang to hit the spot. A nice change from marinara. The staff are always friendly and obliging, and the window is entertaining for kids because they can watch their pizza being made. I believe beer is available for adults - who doesn't like pizza and beer? Pretend you're back in college and give it a shot if you're in the area. On the downside, we purchased a gluten-free pizza for my MIL last time we were in town, and she said it was "just o.k." They do not offer bacon nor chicken as toppings, either. While I do love my bacon chicken & spinach pizzas, I am more than happy to order a shotsky or shabam. Happy enough to eat myself into a food coma. This company can make pizza like nobody's business. read more

The pizza is fabulous! Salads not so much. Salad bar consisted of lettuce and dressings, nothing else. Beers are limited to your typical small town selection--no microbrews. Did not try the pastas, but I think this is the place to go if pizza is your focus. read more

This is the BEST crispy thin crust pizza I have ever had. I grew up in Lewiston, ID, just across the river from Clarkston. There isn't much in the Lewis-Clark valley worth going there for, but this pizza is one of them. I only make it home once a year or so now, but Fazzari's is one of those "must go to" places when I'm there. It's pricier than other pizza places, but well worth it in my opinion. read more

This restaurant is supposedly a favorite for many, going by the reviews online. We decided to try it for the first time on Friday (7/28) at about 4 pm (which is when they open) to see what the hype was all about. Our first Impression of the outside was that it was a little run down, but the inside must look nice. As we stepped in, we looked around and thought we had stepped back into the 60's/70's, which wouldn't be bad if it was modern to look like that, but the whole motif looked pretty tired and dingy. It reminded us of a cafeteria. It was nice to see long tables for bigger families, that is one thing you don't see a lot of in eating establishments nowadays. We found a table and sat down, we didn't realize you had to get your own menus or order at the counter, we figured it out after a few mins. We got our menus and were shocked by the prices, they were very, very expensive. We ordered and our bill came to $105 (for 7 people and paid much less at other restaurants for the same amount of food and better tasting food), we got a 13" pizza a 16" sampler (house special, Hawaiian, shotsy, and taco), half order of fettuccine, 2 whole orders of fettuccine, 2 orders of baked rigatoni, baked lasagna, lg and sm pitchers of soda. At that price, we were expecting some really amazing food. When our number was blasted over the loud speaker we went up to the counter to get our food. They had each meal on cafeteria food trays which covered their counter, we evidently weren't retrieving the food fast enough for the workers by their sighs and eye rolling. The food looked good, but was VERY sub par to other restaurants in the area (Tomato Bros./South way Pizzeria). The fettuccine seemed as if it was made with canned sauce. The lasagna tasted OK, very bland, the baked rigatoni tasted the best, but could've used some doctoring with some spices. The pizza was edible, crust was heavy, little cardboardish, lacked in flavor, the taco pizza tasted the best. The Hawaiian smelled like wet dog as you were eating it, definitely not appetizing, it made it into the garbage. The sodas were poured from a fountain that needed to be deep cleaned by a professional, and the bricks needed to be adjusted, you could really taste it in the soda. While we were eating, we noticed that when the employees weren't cooking or helping customers they just stood around talking, this is very unusual practice, if you have time to lean, you have time to clean. It would be weird to think the owner allows this behavior. This place definitely needs a remodel of building/food/menu, and retraining of staff. I'm not sure how they got as many stars as they did, I'm guessing from friends/family and locals. We definitely will not go back, which, I'm sure they won't care, they got our $105, but we won't hold back on our opinions of this restaurant either. read more

Pizza and pastas are excellent. Couple reasons they don't get 5 stars from me is the price and atmosphere. A large pizza will cost you close to $30 and the dining room hasn't changed in over 20 years. It can get crowded and noisy, but that is why it makes a good spot for large groups/ teams to meet. Better beer selection would be nice too. The kids really enjoy the viewing window too where they can watch the pizzas being made and placed in the oven. read more

If you want great pizza at a decent price this is it in a 100 mile radius. Way better than any chain pizza place. Onions is a free topping. Business is very well managed and customer service is great. They pack on the toppings and they use real ovens so the crust is great (unlike all those places that use conveyor belt ovens). I do not suggest getting tomatoes as a topping as they cut them into really huge chunks and do not cook them so all the water content and seeds from the tomatoes kinda ruin it. Definitely go pick up your pizza at the restaurant or eat there... order over the phone as it is always busy. I do not suggest the delivery as it is not as good (usually undercooked) because it is cooked and sent from a completely different location. read more

This place is famous and for good reason. They make fantastic pizza with traditional toppings as well as unusual combos. The service is quick as long as it's not too crowded (watch out for Friday and Saturday nights). They have a decent selection of beer including some local microbrews. What most impressed me with this place was the service we received when we placed a huge order here for our wedding reception off site. We needed pizzas and baked pasta at their busiest time of day and I suggested that they prep them early so we could reheat them on our own. The owner said to me, "Either you're eating my food hot or you're not eating it at all!" The food was ready right on time and it was a huge hit at our wedding reception. read more

Fazarri's is the first place I visit when I come home to the LC Valley. I've never found another pizza place like it. It is absolutely the best pizza I have ever eaten. Really good pizza and nice atmosphere. It is cafeteria style so you order at the counter and then pick up your pizza but it came quickly and was very hot. A lot of good choices and a pretty good salad bar. They had draft beer in pictures and we had a great time. read more

Based on nostalgia alone, I give 2 stars. But recently on a trip to Clarkston (2 hours out of my way FOR Fazzari's), I learned of there new hours, where they are not open for lunch expressly. I read about the hours online and made sure I called in time. After numerous phone calls, all the while being told different things concerning takeout, I finally placed my order, only to be told 5 minutes later that they weren't going to be able to make the order because they were getting ready for dinner. I explained my situation of travel and the woman on the phone wasn't exactly rude, but wasn't friendly in the least. The last time I visited a few years ago I remember a similar attitude with different employees; it seems that their reputation of being the 'best in the valley' has gone to their heads. Truth be told, from what I remember from childhood the pizza was good, but small-town antics ruined the experience for me. I won't be visiting again. read more

So, I've lived in the Valley for years now and I go to Fazzari's every other week just about and to me it's amazing, but let me break it down for people who might be first timers by giving some pointers (I also ask a lot of questions) -Stick to pizza. I like the pasta but it's not their thing, it's an alternative to someone who just doesn't want pizza it seems like. -No free refills. They charge by the glass, but at $1.10 per glass it's not exactly breaking the bank, infact I find it great personally, in any other restaurant I get charged $2.50 for a glass of coke that I'll barely drink half of. -If you're seeking more than carrots, croutons and lettuce, then skip the salad bar. I sometimes get it only because I'm a picky eater and only like carrots and lettuce anyway. -They serve pitchers of soda! You don't have to keep going to the bar to pay for glasses if you drink more than 1 glass, get a large pitcher, it's usually plenty for my table. I can usually pour 5 or 6 glasses worth if I'm not mistaken. -I've never been to any other pizza place that lets you create your toppings into quarters, EVER! and I've been to a lot of pizza places! Take advantage of it. Be forewarned, you will pay for the more expensive side of the pizza, which only seems fair. -Be prepared to spend what feels like a fortune. For example, I'll get a pitcher of soda and a 16' House pizza pie. It's a tiny bit over $30 I think. Granted 4 people could easily chow down on this order and when you do the math, that's only about $7.50 a person. Obviously if it's only 2 people it's more like $15.. which is usually what I end up doing and I have plenty of leftovers so it's well worth it! -On a Friday or Saturday night it can get loud and crowded! Need I say more? I hope this can be useful, I love the place and give it 5 stars, you can watch them make pizza and the owners usually work on the weekends. Ummm I don't know who is writing the good reviews but I wouldn't say the food is the finest. I did not taste the pizza but I can tell you do not order any pasta dishes. They taste like Chef Boardee. I didn't like that none of the pizza preps weren't wearing gloves. They touched all the food with bare hands. Maybe you just have to have a shallow palate. My family are Italians and I am used to excellent Italian food...and excellent pizza. read more
