Overall, would rate this a 3/5. There were just a few things that didn't quite meet our expectations. The fish and chips were pretty decent, and the fries were so good! The fish had some full pieces and others not so much. The burgers were good and again fries were great. We don't know what it was but we all had upset and unsettled stomachs and this restaurant is the one place we all ate at in common. Probably wouldn't return and only family friendly before 9:00pm. If you're there for a tournament just keep this in mind! Service was rushed considering we had a minor with us at 8:45pm even if we were ordering takeout. read more

Great location, right off the main street in Sisters. The restaurant was packed busy for Saturday. Too bad, I missed the breakfast menu, I really wanted to try one of the Benedict dishes. so I got the vegetarian quesadilla and it was pretty good and filling. The waitress was friendly and fast. The main area was packed full, so we were seated at the open tables, near the pool tables, with nice big windows. They something for everyone of us - Vegan, Vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. read more

We're staying at the nearby Black Butte Ranch. We spent the morning traipsing around Dee Wright Observatory, and we definitely built up an appetite! We walked around the quaint town of Sisters in search of a place to have lunch. The Gallery Restaurant looked promising. We entered behind another group. We waited for a while. The group in front of us decided they didn't want to wait any longer, and left. We were actually thinking the same thing when someone came over and told us we could seat ourselves at an open table. The waitress was friendly, and took drink orders right away. After that she took our food order. I got the Greek Salad without the feta, and they subbed avocado for me. I got the balsamic vinaigrette on the side. It was pretty good! My friends all enjoyed what they got! read more

Stopped here while vacationing in the area. Upon arrival we were told it was ok to sit anywhere as they were not busy. Our order was taken, we received our drinks and then proceeded to wait for over an hour before asking when our food would arrive. We were told about 8 more minutes. The salad, and Reuben came out, and we proceeded to wait another 15-20 min for chicken tenders and fries and another hot sandwich. They did comp us 25% off our meal. But I definitely will not be back when vacationing in the area. Food was not horrible but not great either. read more

We were greeted immediately and seated in a booth. Our order was taken quickly. Food and drinks were delivered promptly. We were eating breakfast. We love this place for breakfast. Simple menu but they will add anything to your order. Two picky kid eaters with us and they loved it. Sweet cream pancakes were delish, and sausage links were nice and plump. Breakfast burrito smothered in gravy was excellent according to my 18 year old niece. My son devoured his French toast and husband loved his ham and egg omelette. So excellent food and a great stopping point. Clean dive bar ambiance. read more

I had the turkey melt. It was delicious. Our server was very nice. However, there was very little turkey on my sandwich, i literally got one sliced pickle for two slices of sandwich and, the big issue, we were not checked on once. To be fair, it got busy immediately after we arrived but still not okay. My wife's sandwich was dry, so no mayo and no dipping sauce offered. They have the potential so i will return. We stopped in for the Friday night Prime Rib dinner($18). It was excellent! The Prime Rib was tender, the baked potato was huge and stuffed with real bacon, and the green beans were fresh. The restaurant is a low-key, local themed western family sports bar. The prices are very reasonable and the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back for more great food in a comfortable setting. read more

This is not normal, I have never had a bad thing to say about this place except that they close a bit to early for me but they typically do stay open later than posted. But today I looked them up, every where online says open at 9am, I'm looking at the building right now it is also painted on the window, "open @ 9 daily " except they're not open! If u poke around u can find a tiny little sign that's say they open at 2pm on Tuesdays Wednesday as well I believe but there isn't anything more irritating then restaurants being closed when they say they are open. That is all! Besides that this place has the best food in sisters. And usually excellent service. read more

Best Fish and Chips, HANDS DOWN!!! plus the service was top notch. We were 6 gals visiting Sister's and stumbled upon this place. Rob took such good care of us. He was funny and kind and really made our short time there memorable. (Unfortunately our meal time was cut short because we had an emergency illness arise, but Rob was there to help, offered to call an ambulance and speedily got us pack up and out the door). I appreciate effort. Even when it falls short. I get that it's a little bit of an overtaxed stop for tourists. It has a lot of potential though. I don't want to give up on them. Let's start with the good. My wife got the halibut and chips. I got the country fried steak. The halibut was good. Interesting batter a touch over cooked though on the fish. I appreciate the homemade gravy. I hate that packaged crap. I liked the breading on the steak. Nice and crispy and the steak was tender. I tasted some freezer on it which is common in country fried steak. Homemade applesauce with the kids meal. He didn't appreciate it but we sure did. Now the bad. The kitchen needs to get their act together. Long long wait time. When the fish came out the fries were ice cold. Service was friendly but definitely stretched thin. Based on the rating, I wasn't expecting much from The Gallery. Nevertheless, we are on a mission to eat at every restaurant in Sisters. Plus, The Gallery was open later than other places that were turning us away at 8:40 because their 9pm closing time was coming up (ahhh, small town life). Anyways, boy! was I wrong! The staff was the perfect level of welcoming, friendly, and attentive; the food was excellent. The menu was pretty small but the nachos with beef and Caesar salad with *hot* chicken breast were both certain tasty. The sweet potato fries, potato skins, and burgers which I eyeballed going past us also looked delicious. I will be back the next time I'm looking for some good bar food. Of course there are also boozy drinks and TVs with ESPN on because it's a bar. Maybe this is not the quaint western vibe some visitors are looking for but I'm thrilled to have it here. We always stop here for breakfast and a Bloody Mary every time we come up to visit our boys. Last summer they cut the breakfast menu way back. And the food dropped off. The Bloody Mary's weren't the same. We went in Wednesday June 6th 2024 for breakfast because the sign outside side said full breakfast menu was back. It was the same cut back menu. I had French toast with eggs and bacon, the bacon was ok the eggs were cooked right but the French toast had mold on it. The Bloody Mary was the worst I have ever had. My wife had hash brown and sausage gravy. The hash browns weren't hard browned the gravy tasted like canned gravy. We are sorry to say after years of being a loyal customer. We will never go back. I came here for happy hour drinks. I was instantly greeted and sat. The staff is really friendly. The tap list had 16 different beers and ciders. They have a full bar. Before leaving the area we stopped for breakfast at the Gallery, based on your reviews. We were greeted immediately and Jackie our waitress was finishing up a phone order before coming over to us. She is very sweet and helpful. The whole experience was like walking back in time where Mom & Pop restaurants were the standard and wait staff, especially in small towns, gave each place a unique feel. The food was very good. I had the breakfast burrito. It was quite tasty, albeit without a lot of spice. The salsa provided was bland but they did have hot sauce to zip it up. The hash browns were crispy and delicious. My hubby had the Traveler's Breakfast and was over-the-moon happy. He loved the fluffy pancakes, soft real-butter and the flavorful sausage. The coffee, sadly, is the standard old-time, prepackaged coffee that hasn't caught up to the new world yet. We would definitely go back if we return to Sisters! read more

Local owners who do it right. Best burgers in town by far and their sliders and taco Tuesdays are the best bang for your buck. Plus great real cocktails the way you want them. There are many local craft beers on tap with a few of the regular domestic brews, always served in a clean, cold glass. Newly remodeled after a brief shutdown during early covid19 times, and it really brightened up the space. They mentioned all brand new tap lines were also installed during the renovation. The staff is hands down some of the best locals in town, you can tell they are happy to be there. Gamblers accepted here (both on the machines and a good pit stop during the Gambler 500, ABG). Well my boyfriend and I came here and it was really fantastic! Great beer and great burgers. I was worried because I am vegetarian and sometimes places in the country don't know how to cook the beyond burger patties. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with the beyond burger and it took a while... BUT it was the best beyond burger I've had in a while from a restaurant.
