The first hot dog that we ordered was forgotten by the employees working, so we were waiting around for awhile for that. However when it finally came out it was pretty good! The pretzel bun was surprisingly soft and not stale or dry. The hot dog was a really large beef dog! I did get a taste of the hot dog because the kids seemed more interested in the mac and cheese on top than the hot dog itself, not surprising. Overall it's not a super great option for food but I would totally order that hot dog next time.

Service was very good, and it is clearly a family venture. They have an herb farm and have been going to farm markets. The space is relaxing and comfy. Some chairs and tables, some barstools. The root beer tasted homemade, which it is. Sassafras, honey, a bit of ginger, some other nicely balanced flavors. It's a bit steep at $3.50 for a small glass, but a nice splurge. I also got some soap for Sweetie, and it smells nice and is hefty for its size, so looks to be good quality. I'm sure I'll be back for some ginger ale or another root beer.
