Owned & operated by the incredible Daniel Johnson and his kind, friendly wife, Serenity - both of whom you should also go listen to as their wonderful musical alter ego, The Bell and the Hammer - The Brickery is literally a dream come true, both for the Johnsons, who have long been passionate Lego enthusiasts, but also for the thousands of people who stream through its doors throughout the week. We were blown away by the beautiful Jonathan Queen original mural adorning the cafe's wall - seriously, the detail is amazing, but then again, all of Jonathan's artwork is - and instantly loved the easy-to-access building tables, rent-a-Lego-kits rated by time it takes to build them, and the tasty specialty sodas, many cleverly referencing Lego Movie characters! Our kids had so much fun, and my wife and I couldn't help but note how fun this place would be for a date night, team-building for professionals, a birthday party, and more.
