I'm very, very happy with my eyeliner tattoo! On weekdays at 8am when I'm trying to get ready in 30 minutes, the goal is to put as little work as possible into looking good. I love the subtle difference it makes and how it enhances the shape of my eyes. I no longer need to worry about my liner smudging or deal with the hassle of applying it during my morning routine. I recommend getting this service done at Feather & Mink due to the detail and care Saem puts into her work! She's meticulous and is a designer at heart. Additionally, her studio is beautiful and relaxing... she'll give you fuzziest slippers and play music to help you feel as comfortable as possible! Before she applies the ink, she draws the eyeliner shape to make sure you're on board with it. Then she'll numb the area to help minimize the sting. She's attentive to how you're feeling and she's great at making you feel more at ease. I can't wait to get a touch-up and go back for brows!
Saem doesn't disappointed yet again! She's so kind, patient & easy to talk to. I'm impressed with her professionalism & how relatable she is. Saem definitely takes her time to ensure that the piece comes out looking great and I love chatting with her throughout the session. Another huge plus is Barry, her bernedoodle!
Saem is the best! I came here for mink lashes and she was very thorough in describing the various options. There are a couple different curl types (B, C, D) and lash colors to choose from. I opted for the classic C curls and medium brown. The results came out really natural and they were super lightweight! She recommended that if I wanted even more natural-looking curls that I should go for B curls and chocolate color instead. I will definitely come back for refills!
I've been following Feather & Mink's social media for quite some time now, and have always admired their work... so I finally decided to book my very first eyelash extension session! Upon my arrival, Saem warmly greeted me and welcomed me in. The overall vibe and ambiance of the place was peaceful and very homey- she did a great job making me feel at ease and rest assured. We naturally transitioned to a consultation for the eyelash extension process. She educated me on the different types of extensions, eyelash maintenance, and expectations. She also informed me that she uses the highest grade of eyelash glue... which is definitely important since you don't want toxic chemicals near your eyes. After the brief consultation, I've decided to go for the Classic Japanese "B curl" extensions. The actual process of the lash extensions was actually extremely therapeutic and relaxing. I nearly fell asleep a few times! The overall process took 2 hours, but time felt like it flew by. I was thrilled and extremely happy of the final result of the lashes! Saem did a wonderful job creating a look that flatters the shape of my eyes. I'm definitely coming back and I highly recommend this place!
The minute you walk in you will absolutely fall in love with Saem and her place. Everything is aesthetically pleasing (for all you visual ppl) and designed well to give customers an artistically euphoric experience! I've been saving the graphic I've been wanting to tattoo on my screensaver for the longest time. It was a depicting a relationship, a bond, I shared with my son and I knew exactly how I wanted it. From the beginning consultation to the final product, I felt like Saem completely exceed my expectations and was able execute exactly what I envisioned. P.S. Where do I even begin? First of all, Saem is beyond sweet, cool, and chic! Her studio is so cute and aesthetic. Now I've been getting eyelash extensions from other places for years but none have ever given me the look that I request from them. I'll always show them a picture and ask for natural, barely noticeable eyelashes, but then I'll close my eyes and wake up with ABG volume lashes smh I'm so glad I found Saem, this was my first time with her and she gave me a detailed consult before the session to make sure I was getting what I wanted. She explained the types of lashes and what would work for my eyes. She has an expert touch and I love that you could feel her attention to detail. She also cares for the health of the eyelashes as well, being extra careful since a lot of my eyelashes had fallen out from the previous set that I got. I've had her lash extensions for about a week now and I love them! They are so soft and comfortable! Will definitely be coming back. Bonus: I enjoyed the boho music playlist she was playing so much, and Saem was nice enough to share her playlist with me afterwards when I asked her for it

When I arrived, Saem sat me down to discuss the technique (she does single needle), what it'll look like as it fades, and went over the script design she created for me. During each step of the process, Saem was extremely thorough. From reviewing the design, scaling it, making sure the location was perfect and what I wanted, and stenciling, Saem made sure nothing was amiss. We had a fun time chatting about some local spots and lots of other things making the experience thoroughly enjoyable. Didn't hurt one bit either! The end result was absolutely stunning and I couldn't be more thrilled. If I ever need a touch up or decide to get more work, I definitely plan on coming back to Feather and Mink!

The japanese mink lashes look and feel so natural. This was my first time doing lash extensions, and Saem made the experience easy and informative! She was very helpful in answering any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable with my lashes. Saem is so passionate in everything she does and truly takes her time with each client to make sure they are satisfied with their results. Her cute studio is conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, making it walking distance to plenty of shops and with an abundance of parking. Yesterday I did something I never thought I'd do. Not only did I get a tattoo (sorry mom), but I got it done to my face... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT though! Feather & Mink did such a beautiful job on enhancing my natural brow. It's exactly what I wanted and the process was no where near as painful as I'd imagined; it was all in my head! Saem has such a beautiful spirit, I instantly felt comfortable with her. I suppose the fuzzy slippers helped too. She didn't even touch my brows for the first hour. Instead she took the time to educate me on the procedure, the design options, made sure I was confident in my decision and was meticulous every step of the way. The hardest part about this is the aftercare. I'm not supposed to sweat aka workout for TWO weeks! But to be honest my body will probably appreciate the break. Thank you Feather & Mink! My morning routine just got WAY easier and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results so far. If you live in or around Santa Ana, consider this post to be a personal recommendation.
Found Feather and Mink on yelp and took a chance because all the pics look so great. Got my first eyelash perm here and loved the experience. Was very easy to make an appointment and the location is across the street from a large parking structure. Saem is super knowledgeable and easy to chat with through what feels like such a quick process. I am seriously in love with my eyeliner tattoo. I like my makeup very natural and light but hate the hassle of putting eyeliner every morning.. so this is an amazing alternative. The actual tattooing was painless and was comfortable the entire time. Saem was super gentle and knew exactly what I wanted. I love her! The space itself is so adorable.. good location w plenty of parking. I was able to grab coffee around the corner after. I'm so happy with the results!

Absolutely obsessed with Saem and Feather & Mink! Got my first tattoo here on my rib cage and had the best experience from start to finish. Saem was patient with me since it was my first tattoo and took a while to go through the design to make it exactly what I wanted! She has all the Covid protocols in place and the shop is adorable. Highly recommend getting a tattoo here you will not be disappointed! Oh and we were bumpin 90s R&B the whole time so what else do you need?! read more

I was lucky enough to book an appointment to get my lashes done right before the holidays. I had gotten my lashes done many years ago and while I absolutely loved waking up looking fresh, I felt that you could see and feel the glue. With feather & mink though...WOW. I honestly can't wrap my head around how I couldn't feel where my real lash started and where the extension began. Saem is a passionate perfectionist and takes her time to explain all your lash options. If you're looking for a subtle and soft boost, she's got you. If you're looking for a dramatic (yet still natural)look, she's got you. I opted for Japanese mink lashes with a mid-dramatic curl and they've lasted a month! I literally wake up and just start my day. She's talked to me about getting my eyeliner done, which she says is a game changer for that "I woke up like this" look. I'm definitely a low maintenance girl and anything that gives me extra snooze time is worth it. Definitely recommend feather & mink for all your beauty needs! read more

I was referred to Feather & Mink through my makeup artist friend who had a great experience with Saem. I flew in from New York just to see Saem. I'm very minimalist when it comes to my morning face routine (lotion and eyebrows) but wanted some help with my thinning and light eyebrows which always ended up crooked and smeared off by the middle of the day. Saem is highly trained, professional; yet warm and friendly. She made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole process. I ended up doing a powdered technique for a more natural eyebrow look. Communication with Saem was fast and I felt I could reach out anytime if I had questions. Her space is clean and beautiful with added special touches like slippers and coffee for her clients. It's been about a month now and I love my new brows. I'm looking forward to going in for my touch up! read more

Saem does a beautiful lash perm. She is very detail oriented and the perm is natural looking which is what I love! The lash perm lasted me almost two months. I would definitely recommend Saem if you want a natural and beautiful looking lash perm. She is also a sweetheart! read more

I wanted to do something to open up my eyes. So I made an appointment @featherandmink and got the natural dark brown mink eyelash service. It's extremely light even lighter than mascara. Super happy and came out great!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!! I will try black one later!!!! read more

Everything about Feather & Mink is amazing. I live in Los Angeles and hate driving but this place is worth it! Saem is talented and so knowledgeable. She explains everything and makes you feel comfortable with the procedure and goes over exactly what you want and any concerns you have. I have gotten my eyebrows microbladed with someone else and I regret not meeting Saem earlier! I am waiting for it to fade so she can redo them. I got my eyeliner done with Saem and it looks wonderful. The procedure was pretty painless and the healing process was super easy. Her prices are also sooooooo reasonable! To top it off her studio is super cute! I will definitely come back to get my lashes done. If you want natural looking permanent makeup this is the only place to go! read more

I was so blown away by this whole experience! I have wanted a tattoo for about 4 years now and on multiple occasions walked into a tattoo shop to get it done & every time I never was comfortable. This was my first tattoo & I knew I wanted something small. I always got the feeling from the tattoo artist that they were annoyed to have to open a new needle for a small tattoo. I finally was recommended Feather & Mink from a customer of mine at CocoRose Boutique who has gone to her for majority of their tattoos. I stalked the Instagram of course and instantly booked! I walked into this gorgeous studio in downtown Santa Ana and from the moment I arrived I was so blown away. She walks you through each step, talks about the ink, the sizing and placement making sure it's absolutely perfect! YOU GUYS! I was soooo nervous with this being my first! I promise you my eyebrow threading hurt more! She had the most gentle hand and it was sooo easy! I'm sooooo beyond happy with my tattoo & even more happy with the experience for my first one! I have done microblading before but Saem's technique is my absolute favorite. She corrected the red undertone that the previous lady left on my brows. I also did my eyelashes, it's the second time I have done it and I loved the quality and the technique she used on me. I don't feel the lashes at all and it looks so natural no one believes me they are extensions. I also got my eyeliner done with her, it's the first time I have ever done an eyeliner tattoo but I ascared of looking too fake or green and it's not the case with Saem. She did an amazing with my eyeliner tattoo too. Highly recommend Feather and Mink. Updated April 2018: I came back to Saem to get my touch up done for both my eyebrows and eyeliner tattoo. Wed did more color correction to try to take out all the pink undertone and it looks way better now. As for my eyeliner she made a lil thicker which makes a huge difference and also added a little winged tip, not too dramatic so it's still looks totally natural. Loving my woke up like this look now! I decided to get my eyelashes lifted during covid because most people can just see my eyes and I'm not wearing make up most of the time due to the mask regulations. Saem was great! She checks your temperature even before you step I to her studio, she sanitized and put paper on the table you lay on and before the session even begins she politely asks you to wash and sanitize your hands. She is taking all the correct safety measures against covid which made me feel so great! Masks are kept on throughout the service too! I definitely will be going again not only for lash lifts but probably for a tattoo in the future as well! read more

I absolutely love this place! Everything is so aesthetically pleasing and clean. Saem makes you feel welcomed and comfortable the moment you walk in, and she gives you a personalized experience. It was my first visit so she walked me through the different types of lashes and allowed me to make the best choice for myself. When she showed me the result, I was extremely happy and satisfied. You can tell that she truly cares about her work. I had an amazing experience getting my very first tattoo done by Saem. I didn't really have a concrete design I wanted done and more of a general idea, but Saem was able to work with me to iron out all the details. The finished product is more than I could have ever hoped for and the great experience working with her is the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend her to all. read more
